Today I went to this restaurant to eat lobster baked butter and cheese for my birthday. I ate at this restaurant about eight months ago. At lunchtime the restaurant is very crowded so I had to share a table with strangers. Eight months ago I shared a table with about eight people. Out of the eight people, One man was by himself he was a doctor, there was a lady there by herself she eats there regularly, there was a man and his family of 3 and me. I was waiting for my sister to show up but she was late. I was trying to order her food and the man said only one person can order the lobster for $18 and they had to order two extra sides to get that lobster for $18. He said if I wanted another Lobster it will be $32. I said the other lobster was for my sister. He said then you have to wait to she gets here so she could order it separately otherwise theyre going to charge me one lobster $18.99 and $32 for the second Lobster. I understood that and I said OK I will let my sister come and place her own order. Well today (01/25/2017) I went back to the same restaurant me and my technician but we went after the rush hour was over. The man came over to the table and told me that we could only get one $18 lobster at the table it doesnt matter if we paying separately or anything we could only get one $18 lobster the second one had to be $32. I said we will be paying separately why cant she get hers for $18 too. he said no thats not true I told him it was true and he asked me where was my receipt from last time. He said to me can you prove it. I said at the table where I sat last time all four of the different parties had their own lobster for $18. He told me that that was not true and if I didnt have a receipt to prove it its just not true. So I just told him go ahead give me the $18 and a $32 lobster. I ordered my food and it was delicious. I did not like the fact that he called me a liar and kept arguing with me so when the check came I paid it and I didnt leave him a tip. He was so mad he came to my table and started arguing with me again about the tip he said that the fact that I couldnt get the lobster at the price that I wanted had nothing to do with his customer service and he was demanding a tip from me. I said I was not giving him a tip because his customer service is horrible. And a tip is something that is not mandatory. He said the tip was mandatory. I told him the way he is arguing with me and embarrassing me is the reason he was not getting a tip from me. He was so mad he said that the next time I come to that restaurant I will never have another $18 lobster. I am also going to send this letter to FOX 26, Channel @ news and anybody that will investigate this restaurant. This kind of behavior has to stop.

First the good: portion sizes were large, food was hot and tasty, lobster price was decent. Now the bad: came with my wife, brother-in-law, and her parents who are Chinese and wanted Cantonese food. We had called ahead of time to verify that they allow BYOB and had brought some Riesling to share, but when we arrived they wanted $10/bottle to cork and wouldnt budge (too steep for this place). From that point on, we were treated very rudely: specifically, waitress left in middle of order because we werent fast enough, check was brought in middle of our meal and after we paid multiple waitresses cycled by the table wanting to collect the check and clear us from the table (this was after maybe 45 minutes). After telling the third that we were still finishing and would be leaving shortly, the manager initiated a death stare at me for the next 15 minutes from the back of the room until we stood to leave. Once we stood he came literally running over and grabbed the completed check (with tip) from my wife and opened it. At this point I calmly said that this treatment was ridiculous and I couldnt believe I was actually being treated this way, and the manager actually told me fine, then dont come back!. Needless to say, he wont need to worry about seeing me again. Theres too many other authentic Cantonese restaurants to put up with this places poor service. AVOID EATING HERE IF YOU VALUE CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Every time we tried to come here for dinner, the wait is always at least 10+ people so we always end up leaving. However, we actually decided to stay once and the wait really isnt that long. The tables are huge, family-style, and they ask if you want to share tables, which isnt a big deal to me, so they go through the wait list faster. They had a good deal for lobster going on which is 2 lobsters (~1 lb each) for $18.99 which is so cheap!! We didnt end up getting it though since we ordered too much food. The food was all good, I would recommend the dungeness crab in the lotus leaf if you have a large party as the rice is very tasty but also pricy. Also, I will not comment on customer service since its an Asian restaurant, its expected that you will not receive the typical, expected American customer service that youd receive non-Asian restaurants. Beware of a couple things: - You have to wait inside the restaurant, they will not come out looking for you - Make sure you ask them for market prices, we ordered a dungeness crab steamed in lotus leaf at the last minute since it was recommended on Yelp and it ended up costing $50 for it!! What I ordered: - Peking duck - Snow pea (similar to Chinese broccoli) - Dungeness crab steam in lotus leaf Pros: - Good deals (see above) Cons: - Be prepared to wait - See the beware above, though this would not reduce my rating of the restaurant

DO NOT COME HERE. The food has not been as good as it used to be a few years ago.. its overly greasy and just doesnt taste good. The service is absolutely TERRIBLE. I suggest that you read the other peoples comments below this one b/c theyre all true. The waitstaff will seriously throw a fit if you dont give them 15% tip. They say its MANDATORY when the receipt says SUGGESTED tip. My mom and I normally give the full 15% b/c we know how hard waitstaff has to work, but this time the waitress we had was super rude. She didnt check on us at all the whole hour we were there. No one did. No refills on drinks or rice. No check. No to-go boxes. I had to ask twice for the check and to-go boxes. Then when we got the check, two waitresses were standing right behind my mom and WATCHING her take out money to pay the bill. As soon as she put it on the table, one said "you didnt put enough" and proceeded to argue with us when we told them they didnt give us decent service. My mom ended up throwing the waitress another dollar just to get her to stop harassing us, but it continued even after we were out the door. Then I had a pissed off mother to deal with for the rest of the day. Thanks Confucius...... TLDR: DO NOT COME HERE. NOT WORTH.
