Wow...between the service, food, and friendliness of staff...AMAZING!!! My wife and I had a long layover in Houston and decided to swing over here because we had heard good things about the quality of their BBQ. What we heard was true. At first we were a little skeptical because it seemed as if the sides were "cafeteria" style, but boy was the food good!! I got the loaded baked potato with chopped beef brisket and sausage and my wife got a BBQ chicken plate. Everything was delicious! As we were eating for a cab out front, an employee came out to see if we were OK and insisted on giving us a ride to the airport...completely restored our faith in humanity that they would go so far out of their way to see us off! THANK YOU! We will be back next time we are in Houston

Very good independent BBQ! Walking distance from the HOU airport Hilton.The ribs and brisket are very good. Baked potato w/beef is big enough for 2 people! Nice assortment of sides. Usually has a couple lunch specials/deals to choose from. The pulled pork tasted a bit overcooked, like it was held in a hot crock-pot too long. If Im ever held-over at Hobby Airport again, I would go back! Oh yea...closed at 3PM.

Love the food and great prices way better then Papas and cheaper to. The servers and staff are verry nice. Just the over all atmosphere is great. The owner is a very nice guy even gave my kids some deserts as we were leaving to take home. When ever i want good bbq this is where Im goong every time. I highly recommend anyone to do the same.

This is a charming down home no frills Bar-B-Q restaurant. Servings are very generous. The meats are cooked to a turn but, to my taste, could use a bit more smoke. The sides are unusually flavorful. Well done and very reasonably priced. Servers at the ordering counter are friendly and attentive.

Family owned, old school BBQ restaurant. Food was delicious and the people who worked there were friendly and happy to help. Could tell that many of the customers were regulars by the way they interacted with each other and the employees. Will definitely go back the next time Im in Houston.

Family owned Business making you feel like part of thier family. Only open for lunch Monday thru Friday. Great lunch specials that will please your hunger. I love all of there food from the brisket to the Loaded Potatoes with all the fixins. I know where I am having lunch at. Do you?

The food was very tasty and the atmosphere relaxed! Every meat we tried was flavorful and perfectly cooked. The ribs were tender and very meaty. We tried desserts and found the cobbler delightful! The cakey crust was perfectly crispy and soft! Also, jalapeño bread was phenomenal!

I WORK DOWN THE STREET FROM THIS PLACE...I GO THERE AT LEAST TWICE TO 3 TIMES A WEEK! BBQ IS AMAZING! I ALWAYS THOUGHT PAPPAS BBQ WAS THE PLACE TO EAT BBQ...BOY WAS I WRONG. IF YOU WANT GREAT BBQ AND A FRIENDLY STAFF AT A GOOD PRICE THEN CENTRAL TEXAS BBQ IS THE PLACE FOR YOU!

Perfect Brisket...Consistently delicious BBQ...Never had a bad side dish here! Great portions and good price! Theyre sauce is a an amazing balance of sweet and vinegar. Dont be fooled by the outside theres some serious BBQ inside.
