I ordered a "Philly Cheese Steak" omelet that had horrible chewy steak meat. It was very hard and not cooked well, also the cheese tasted like sliced cheese that comes wrapped in plastic. I dont normally got to the manager but I told the manager about it, how bad the meat and the cheese was and that it was not worth $9, he offered another omelet but I did not wanting another one after that one was so bad (I only ate a couple bites of it). I told him to take it off the check and just charge for the pancakes that was the side. He told me that he was not allowed to take it off the check, I respectfully told him I was not going to pay for it. He said if I didnt pay for it he would have to call the police, I said......"do what you gotta do". A few minutes later the waitress said the manager took it off the bill. Coward couldnt even tell me to my face. I could not believe, one how bad the omelet was for such a high price, and two how bad the manager was. It is very obvious they could careless about their customers, that place was probably the worst place I have ever ate at.

The location is Hewitt has been consistent only in its bad service. Today was no different. We showed up and were seated immediately; however, while the parents got their drinks immediately, the 3 teenagers never did get their order taken until well after the tables beside us had been seated AND they received their drinks. We gave our food order immediately when the kids had been able to give their drink order. Still the tables that were literally seated minimum 15 minutes after we arrived received their food before ours arrived. We left after watching the other tables order and receive their food and all we had were 2 drinks for 5 people. We left there and went to the Cafe Capp on Richland Drive and received the great treatment you expect to receive from this establishment. The owners need to look at the management of Richland Drive and copy that to Hewitt. The Hewitt management is very bad.

We were seated right away, but the area we were seated in was by the front windows. Which turns out is where everyone waiting to be seated stands. It is a very unpleasant dining experience to have someone literally a foot away from your plate while eating. Will never be returning and never recommend this location to anyone. The owners should consider putting in a designated waiting area in order to avoid more dissatisfied customers such as ourselves.

Do not buy the omelettes. Not worth it. Very small and pricy. I admit, should have seen it was made with 3 eggs. Still, $8.75 (a Newman) for few trimmings of beef and store bought-looking American cheese is not worth it. Might as well go to IHOP. The quality of the pancakes were great, though. May come again to try the other entrées to give Café Cappuccino again. Maybe not at the Hewitt Location... Overall, disappointed.

I have been a huge Cafe Cap fan for many years. This location doesnt live up to the reputation of Cafe Cap. Although our waitress was good, the food ranged from meh to inedible. Our bacon came out almost raw. Our waitress took it back to "get it cooked right," and brought it back microwaved and impossible to eat. The ham and cheese omelet was bland and pancakes were very average. Not what I expect from Cafe Cap.

The service at the Hewitt location was horrible and unprofessional. None of the servers spoke up and all seemed confused and hung over or something. They also dont have a changing table. And also, who puts whole cranberries in a mixed berry crepe!?!!? There were 4 blueberries and then all cranberries. So dumb and disappointing.

Terribly run establishment establishment. Un-bussed tables in plain view from the entrance. Ten to fifteen minutes wait before a greeting, staff that likes to flirt with one another instead of work, and food quality that doesnt compare with the Waco location. This place shouldnt have the Cafe Cappuccino name.

Staff is awesome, and food always striving to be as you like it. So we support them and go there. However the prices keep going up, were already a bit too high, and owner leaves less than desirable impression as a fair and pleasant person. Luckily he is there less which makes customers pleased.

Three words, GLUTEN FREE PANCAKES! Five more words, AS BIG AS YOUR FACE! Seriously though, when a simple pancake can send you to the hospital its nice to find a place that can accommodate. Only down side is that while MOST of the wait staff is excellent there are a few who are not.

Food was fine. Service was as bad as I have ever experienced. Cappucino drinks never arrived. Coffee was not refilled. Water was not delivered. Food came out in spurts after over an hour. Never a manager to help or apologize. I cant believe this place was so packed.

Bad service, had to wait more than 20 mins to get our order taken (not busy) and then even food was slow to arrive. No one came to see if food was alright. Other wait staff just walked by empty glasses & on their phones when they thought no one was looking

Its unbelievable what people complain about. Some people just look for anything to complain about. Jeez! We had breakfast there and it wasnt the best food and service but still plenty good for 5 stars. Hash browns and pancakes were very good. Id go again.

If your name is Cafe CAPPUCCINO you should know how to make a REAL cappuccino. And the hollindaise tastes like cream of chicken soup. I love right around the corner and would go to The Egg & I before going back to this location.

Im from Arkansas and Im here in Waco frequently and always come here for breakfast. It is always very consistent and good. Chocolate chip pancakes are incredible! Great place and everyone is very friendly.

Not a huge fan of their scrambled eggs and their bacon is not good. However, if you plan to eat unhealthy, their pancakes are very good (and very big). Service kind of blows, so bring your patience.

Food maybe good but have been waiting for 30 mins and drinks are empty. Maybe a while before we ever come back. Need to hire more competent waitresses or manger needs to fire some people.

Food is delicious and its perfect if you want to do the super white girl thing or just a girls day. Sunday after church is very busy, though, so I would suggest another time.

Tasty food but slow disorganized service. This was our second visit, and will be our last.
