Just finished the worse food experience. We got there at 4:00 PM the place was not busy at all. There were three or four tables being waited on. We ordered the Turkey and dressing with Fried Green Tomatoes for an appetizer. It took about 35 minutes for our order to come out (not a problem). The gravy looked like Chili Verde. It was green, literally green. I told my husband they added too much sage the taste and smell was overwhelming. When we asked the waitress why our gravy was green. She said the back had added too much sage. Knowingly they still served it! We couldnt even eat it there was so much sage. Our appetizer never made it to the table. Green beens looked so dry, like they had been sitting out for hours. We eat at Cotton Patch all the time in other towns, Plainview, Brownwood, Abilene, Georgetown, never have we had a bad experience. Disappointed and disgusted.

Went for lunch with my husband who was taking a lunch break from work. Was seated promptly. Waited about 10 min for server to come take our drink order we tried to order our food and she said I will go get your drinks then take our food order. From there she went directly to the next table (who was just seated) and started taking their drink and food order. Worst experience from a server we had ever had. Needless to say, we walked out and will never return.

A bit of old school, country-feeling dining with friendly staff and value-priced eating. We go here often (perhaps weekly), usually with the family. Daily specials and even cold beer; larger booths are pluses. When youre tired of the "same old, same old", Cotton Patch is a good option. Family friendly from under 3 yrs to over 60 yrs.

Never had a bad experience here. Service is great, managers are kind and interact with customers. Food is fantastic. The ranch dressing is amazingly good, and salads are great. Steak is juicy and tender, chicken fried chicken is wonderful. Oh, and if you want dessert, the Dr Pepper cake is wonderful.

Im. A 51. Year old Mexican lady I was there first. I watched. And look forward but I was told it be 16 min ok that ok but a rich lady.go in Wow. The girl that told me it be 16 min was so happy to take her before me what was this this is how u run your restaurant.

Good food and not too expensive. I love the chicken fried chicken. I certainly recommend it. The only problem is that the place draws a much older crowd but if you dont mind eating with a bunch of 70 year olds then you wont find much to hate with this place.

The service here is great! I usually come here in a big group, and we never wait long for the food, even if it is a difficult order. Everything on the menu is great. Their desserts are delicious!

Great food reasonable prices cant forget great service with my old friend Major. Blackened Tilapia was great my wife s Rib eye was cooked to perfection. Well worth the price.
