Indeed it is a hidden gem! As much as I would like to keep it a secret, it would be unfair to hide it away from the motorcycle world! A block behind the City Square youll find it! If a beach-comber looking "dude" comes out to greet you in shorts and boots, thats Dobber Stephenson the owner! Great person with laid back leave your worries at the door type of attitude! Although they have excellent accomodations inside, the outside is the place to be on a nice sunny day! I can only imagine what its like on a Friday or Saturday night there! Try it out and bring friends!

Horrible. No air conditioning, dripping water from the ceiling, standing fan in the one of the rooms. Waitress was even sweating! Could hear the toilet lid slamming down in the bathroom while eating (so gross). Food was okay. Over fried. Waitress over charged two side salads that were considered one of the two included sides for the meal because its an extra charge. Which this detail wasnt printed on the menu and she said "I know" Reallly? They did take off the overcharge. Beer was cold. Saturday special was a $23 steak. Not much of a special.

Service was slow, food was okay, waitress didnt know the menu, each time we asked her a question she had to go and ask someone else. We asked for loaded mashed potatoes (cheese and bacon added) and they charged a House Salad price ($2.50), most places only charge $.99. Not a place I would recommend. They did have a band playing, that was probably the best of our night out besides the company of our friends with us.

Live music was very good. Atmosphere was good for drinks and socializing. Beer was cold. Appetizer was out fairly quick. Took 45 minutes to get food. When food was brought out the portions were limited. grilled chicken was burnt, the corn was burned, half the serving and taste rancid. Would not recommend eating a full meal or the corn. Service was poor. Better to self serve at the bar.

Rude staff. Live entertainment asked for requests but wldnt play anything anyone requested. Stopped serving beer to my fiance stating he was intoxicated.. this wasnt true. But wld serve the table beside us that was much more rowdy loud and obscene. Ordered cheese fries. And took 30 mins for them to arrive at table. . Terrible experience will not be back

French dip was fatty and aus ju wasnt served until my potatoes and vegetables were returned from being replaced with hot versions. Everyones vegetables were cold, and if youre one requiring ac, the food is colder. Nice staff, adjusted the bill. I found a lot of reasons to come back to Glen Rose, this wasnt one of them.

My thing is people want the food to come out fast and is difficult to get you food raigthawy , the food I cook. Is fresh is not frozen food. Like other restaurants. On a bussy day. It can be a 45min wait. Just like the other restaurants. We sever good food. Be relax have a good time. And enjoy the food.

Staff is friendly but service was extremely slow and waitress didnt know menu. Food was nothing spectacular. Burger was overcooked, mashed potatoes were bland, sweet potato fries were cooked too long. Stopped here after making a trip to Fossil Rim, wouldnt recommend others try this place out.

Stopped here for lunch on a Tuesday afternoon with my in-laws and wife on vacation from Washington, DC. We were promptly greeted by Lindsey who seated us and was our waitress. Service was quick and all our orders were correct. Staff was attentive and friendly. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Unknowingly my girlfriend and I showed up 10 minutes before they were closing on Sunday. The waitress assured us it was no problem and we ordered our food. The service was top notch and the burger I had was absolutely fantastic. I highly recommend eating here.

Great place with great atmospher, food, and service. The chicken fried steak was homemade and huge! We also ordered burgers which were delicious I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting a fun and tasty meal.
