They need to hire more help. Food took forever to come out and the sandwiches were cold and dry when they finally got to the table. The Cuban sandwich was not right. It is supposed to have pulled pork on it as well as ham and it only had ham. The menu states it has pulled pork and ham. It was also supposed to have dijon mustard and it was missing as well. It was dry, cold and flavorless with fatty thick cut meat. The meal also lacked a pickle that was supposed to be part of the meal. They need to check their menu and either provide the meal thats listed or they need to correct the menu. The mozerella sticks and fries were good as well as the tea. Those were the only bright spots. The atmosphere is lacking and is just not very comfy or inviting. The pub is disorganized and disjointed. The music is too loud and they play way too much of the same type of music. If you like non-stop CCR, youre in luck. Prices are hugely outrageous for what you get. Sadly, I cannot recommend this place.

What a disappointment-4 of us went on Friday on 7:30...waited at a table for 10 minutes then the server said they taps were not working. The owner stepped up and said the taps were working, so we ordered: 2 double honey whiskeys, one mixed drink, and one beer. We watched the staff argue about an order of chips and salsa for 15 minutes. One of the staff was busy drinking with some friends at one of the tables in between clearing tables. We walked out after 18 minutes of no drinks or any acknowledgment that we were there and no one even seemed to notice that we left. What a shame; we are Garland natives and were really excited about the new bar in downtown. I hope they straighten out their problems and learn to take better care of their customers. Ill give this place a few weeks and try them again; Id love to write a great review if I get great service!

I love this place. We take our son here every Friday for lunch after he gets out of Pre-K. He absolutely adores, Staci... The best waitress Ive ever had. She is friendly and super positive. She knew our names and drink orders after one visit. The food is great and I have a few favorites: Onion Rings, Classic Club, Reuben, Jalapeno Burger, and the State Street Tacos. The tacos are the best Ive ever had, beating out several of the little authentic Mexican taco stands/shops here in Garland. The hot sauce that comes with them is... I dont even know how to describe how good I think it is. My sons favorite are the nachos. The owners, Ryan & Tony, are there most of the time they and always say hello.

Love the location. Was looking for a neighborhood watering hole. Bartenders not very knowledgeabke or "seasoned". Typically not asked if i wld prefer drink in a short or tall glass. I have observed bartenders serving drinks, handling glass with hand over top. Three drinks in tall glasses delivered to my table by bartender holding them under her arm . Really. Ordered speciality drink Hakuna Mavodka. Expecting viodka in drink. No vodka. Rum. Was told just a made up name for drink. Seems a ittle disorganized behind bar. Service is slow. Maybe need an extra server during peak hours. Food is good. Clean environment. Nice atmosphere.

A coworker and I went for lunch. Pretty slow, so we figured well be in and out. Well needless to say our food took 30-45 minutes. Then the waitress stated that she would only charge for one meal because of the wait. We asked for our food to be brought out in to-go boxes because we had no time to eat. When I got to work I opened my box and did not have what I ordered. I ordered a black bean burger with poppy seed bun, I got two pieces of toast with grill onions, tomatoes, and mushrooms with melted cheese. .....no meat!

Bartenders not very knowledgeable. Last weekend ordered a Tom Collins, was served a vodka/Apple Pucker. This week ordered a White Russian, was told the dont have the ingredients. Vodka, Kalua, & milk (or half n half)? Really? Oh well, I guess as long as you want nothing more than a beer or a shot of tequila its a great place!

We stopped by randomly a few months ago. Very chill place, with a nice atmosphere. Food is typical bar food, Franconia on tap! Other great beers on tap as well. Great people! Good to hang out with other garland peeps

Love the State Street Pub and Grill. The staff are fun and friendly, the drinks are strong and affordable and there are surprisingly good menu choices. Very happy to have it as my local watering hole.

New regular for my friends and i. I approve of the draft beers selection, very much so. All of the food menu items I have experience thus far are fantastic. Fried shrooms are huge. Everyone loves that.

Great food and very reasonable prices. The owner is always there and will recognize you any time you come in and is super grateful to have regulars. Very diverse crowd makes this place awesome.

There was some live music and on fridays they have a dj i believe its good to go watch the game and here some music it is fairly small but good place also they sell food

I had the Anarchy Burger wirh seasoned fries. Overall it was okay. I had been once before. Service here is unimpressive unless youre a regular.

Check out this place in little ole Garland. The bad ass behind the bar, Kim Kay, is as good a reason as you need to go back.
