A1 service top to bottom! (please read for a minute to find out why) The manager went out of his way to make sure I was accomadated as soon as I stepped foot inside. The lovely hostess, without hesitation, found a great table outside that provided an amazing view of the beautiful and expansive Rockwall shore line. I was seated facing the much talked about Lake Ray Hubbard, Rowlett, Rockwall, and Garlands crown jewel. My impression at this point was very exclusive and upscale at the new hooters establishment. I would say it is akin to a nice beachside bungalow, the only thing missing was locals peddling necklaces and beads; those who have traveled abroad know what Im talking about lol. My waiter Riley was very professional and was outfitted nicely in the classic hooters girl outfit. I honestly dont believe she couldve presented herself any better had hollywoods finest assisted her. My associates that joined me had nothing but great things to say about the staff and atmosphere. A young woman across the way even recommend I try their mango margarita. The drinks were served cold and were quite refreshing on a Thursday afternoon. I will definitely be returning and would not mind accruing another tab at the competitively priced bar (to remain unbiased In my review in the name of fairness. the "Islamorada" situated at the bayside of bassproshops is another amazing restaurant to go to for fine dining in the area) considering the other businesses in the area. I thank Hooters for their exemplary service and serious care of their valued customers. I plan to return in the future and enjoy the same wonderful experience. P.s no one paid me to write this, I am in the restaurant business myself and look for great examples of service to improve my business ethics and professional wellbeing. Horrible. Been here/tried it 4 times. All of them have been failures. If you want any kind of service you must sit at the bar and hound the bartender. Went there this afternoon, we had a party of 5, asked to be seated outside. It took 10 minutes before We had to ask the outside bartender for some attention. Instead of helping us she got another girl to help us. The adult draft beverages were cool at best, 4 of the 5 drinks came out fairly quick and we waited about 10 minutes to get the last one. " a draft beer"????????? They blamed it on the keg being low when it got there it was flat. I think they were squeezing all of it out that they could. Messed our order up by 50% we ordered fried pickles for appetizer. Came out warm at best. Ordered chicken wings for lunch.....some were hot some were warm. When your speciality is wings and you cant get it right......what is going on!!!! I am not sure how this place is paying for the restaurant. There wasnt 30 people in the place The whole 2 hours we were there. Yeah it took 2 hours. We walked in happy and left pissed. The manager did pay for the flat beverage after we asked to have it taken off the bill. They really have a nice place its just a shame you cant have a good time when you go in there. I will continue to go to Hooters, but unless I here they have completely cleaned house in the Garland restaurant, I will be driving right on by and going to Mesquite.

Had some good experiences previously, but twice I have sat at the bar and both times have waited forever for service. One time the bartender was in the corner talking to her off the clock co-workers instead of helping myself and others who came in and sat down. This last time I came in and sat down, the bartenders walked by me for about 10 minutes without even acknowledging that I existed. Not even a "Hi there, Ill be with you in a minute", just completely ignored me like I wasnt even there. Finally the bartender takes my order. I order a beer and fish n chips. Ive had the fish n chips there several times before and they were very good, large fish portions, light, flaky, and just fell apart. This time, they gave me a few small chunks, almost like fish nuggets, and they were overcooked and tough. The bartender went to the kitchen to ask them why they gave such a small portion of fish... they cooked a couple more "nuggets", again all overcooked and tough. I hope they arent going to these nuggets of fish and that it was a one time issue, or Ill stop going. The fries at hooters are now also so bland. they used to put a seasoning on them after cooking and they had some flavor, but not anymore. They are just awful, not just at this location, but at every location. They need a new recipe/way of cooking their fries to give them some flavor.

I rarely write reviews, but I had to for this venue. Ive had bad service at the Mesquite location which drove me to try this one out. Being a new venue, I figured it would be a lot better. I was wrong! My friend ordered a six piece boneless that ended up just being more like three, maybe even two boneless wings chopped up in six pieces. Then my order of ten original wings comes out and to my surprise they thought I asked for a puddle of grease with a side of ten cold wings. I also ordered a side of curly fries with a cup of queso and the waitress completely forgot about it. Im not going to be a complete hard a** about the service because it was fast and timely, but you as a server should know what is serve-able and what isnt. The service is a fair grade, but the cooks here are beyond subpar. This is my first and final appearance. As Im writing right now the waitress came up and apologized and let us know she told the manager and that they were taking the items off the ticket. The kitchen here deserves a negative zero review, but I cant put anything less than one star on here. In conclusion, if youre coming here strictly for the bar and to enjoy a game then it would be great since the service is about a four star rating. Avoid the food at all cost!

Modified review... Came back. LIZ BACK BAR KILLED IT! SHE WAS LIKE A TORNADO THAT DOESNT TAKE YR SH.. WAS ALLOVER THE BAR LIKE SHE OWNED IT. WELL DONE LIZ! AWESOME NEED MORE LIKE HER. Too PO to go into detail. Theyre known for wings and the obvious. I went there for the wings because the Valero kitchen was closed. Havent had their wings due to a bad experience so it was my last resort. Sat at the bar placed my order to go. 30 minutes later I asked bartender if she can check on my order. She said yes in a while I have to go back there anyway. Asked her if she can tell them for extra hot sauce, she said ok. She comes back 2 minutes after she went in, so Im thinking if I didnt ask her to check Id still be sitting here. So Im thinking the wings are probably cold but I gave them the benefit of the doubt. I asked her about the extra hot sauce she said they wouldnt give it to me until I paid for it. Im like WTF!? I asked her before she went back to save her a trip because they were busy but DB kitchen person sent her off. I came home popped in a movie and tore up some cold A.. wings. Management needs to pay attn. to these bad reviews. Sticking to Valero kitchen wings. Pico de gallo, oregano, Red Hot wing sauce.
