Price and customer service left something to be desired. I went in craving a cupcake with cream cheese frosting. They only had 3 options, so I asked the lady waiting on me what was the best one of them (Id already told her I specifically wanted cream cheese frosting), and she proceeded to give me a list of her favorite cupcakes that WERE NOT cream cheese frosting. Frustrated, I said, "which is your favorite out of the cream cheese frosting cupcakes?" She didnt know what any of them tasted like. I dont understand why youd work at a bakery and not be able to give your opinion on a product, but anyway... she asked another lady whod been standing at the register ignoring me, which one she thought was the best of the three flavors. This lady walked over to us, continued to ignore me, and spoke only to the girl helping me, stating her favorite of the three was the zucchini cupcake, then promptly turned back around to ignore me some more and man the cash register. (I was the only customer in the place.) Now, dont get me wrong, the zucchini cupcake was, in fact, tasty and completely satisfied my craving, but the cupcake was so small! For $4, I expected something larger. I vowed to never go there again, simply because if Im going to spend that kind of money for a sweet treat, it better be dang good or dang big or both! Plus, I hate going places where their customer service is terrible! I say get a new job if you dont like people, ladies!!!

We stopped in a few days ago because Im searching for a bakery in Galveston to do cupcakes and a cake for my wedding next year. So I read though on yelp and saw mixed reviews. So my plan was to go in and buy cupcakes and taste them and then maybe stop in a few more times to see if their product is consistent, and if we liked it or not. So we got a strawberry, vanilla, carrot cake and red velvet cupcake. My boyfriendloved his carrot cake, but said not to trust him because he will almost eat anything. Ha! I wasnt very impressed with anything in the box. The red velvet, in my opinion, heavily depended on the cream cheese icing for flavor. The icing was really good, but nothing special as far as cream cheese icings go. I actually scraped 70% of it off because it was just too sweet. I read a review on yelp and the reviewer said that she felt she could get better cupcakes for a better price from Kroger and I thought that was a bit ridiculous. I sadly have to agree now. So the search continues and we might stop in in the future to eat some of their breakfast goodies that have bacon and such...those got great reviews and looked amazing with full pieces of bacon baked in. The staff was nice enough, but the price for the cupcakes wasnt worth the quality.

I was very disappointed by the service I received as well as the quality of the cake I ordered. I stopped by in the middle of the day on a Tuesday to order a large strawberry cake for pickup on Friday afternoon. There were no other customers, but I was treated poorly by the staff - as though my ordering a $50 cake several days early and paying for it right then was a great inconvenience for them. After I left I considered canceling the order, but as I had already paid I decided the commitment had been made. Due to schedule changes, we were able to pick up the cake on Saturday, when it was to be eaten. However, when we contacted PattyCakes on Thursday to see if a Saturday pickup could be scheduled, we were informed that the cake was already ready. I had spoken with staff upon ordering Tuesday and been assured that a cake Friday would be fine for eating on Saturday, but was concerned that a cake already prepared on Thursday would not be. Indeed, the cake we picked up was old, dry, and absolutely disappointing. Embarrassingly, I unwittingly served it to a group of 15 people before knowing just how bad it was. Most of the served pieces were left on plates, and the leftovers went in the garbage. I wont be patronizing PattyCakes again.

FRIENDLY...except for the lady i wanted to place my cake order with...i wanted a game of thrones themed simple cake (cause i knew i was on limited time). SO i called and without even saying hello she huffed and said "what kind of cake do you want?" I asked if i could come in and show her the picture of kind of what i want for the cake, and she said "well you are limited, so i cant really do anything big, what design do you want?" I understood that but she was highly rude, like i was annoying her. So i asked can it just be the shape of a book? And she said "i mean i can draw a book".... i wanted a cake i even made it simpler for her and she still was pushy and rude! I then said "ok well never mind lets" i was gonna change it and make it 10times easier but she cuts me off and says" ok thank you and hangs up" what on earth? im not picky and im not rude i Also understand everyone has bad days, but i was treated unfairly! I dont think i ever want to ever order from this place again!!!

Our daughter chose the beach scene cake with the Adirondack chairs and sea shells although the cake was pretty it was missing the brown sugar sand. When they cut the cake the frosting was an inch thick over most of the cake. The guest had to scrap off the frosting to eat the cake. It was very disappointing considering we spent 365.00 for 40 servings. When I contacted PattyCakes the lady told me " Well it is a tad more frosting than we usually use but it looks like the knife wasnt cleaned between cut" Im not sure what that had to do with the amount of frosting that was covering the small cake. The staff was very friendly but for the price of the food is a little high for the quality. All we got wad some macaroons, 2 oatmeal raisin cookies, apecan chocolate fudge square, & a small sugar cookie & it was over$20. The macaroons were amazing, just wish they had some crunch to them not all soft. The oatmeal cookies were good but the sugar cookie had an awful after taste, & so did the chocolate pecan square. Yes I would go back just not as much if it was better quality & and not as expensive.

My wife and I stopped here to grab a dessert after seeing the good reviews. The bakery itself is nice and they have a great selection. I am not sure if it was just because it was a weekday and the off season, but both of our desserts tasted very stale. In fact mine tasted freezer burnt! I have never let dessert go to waste, but we didnt even care to finish them even after spending a whopping $7 for 2 small cupcakes.

service was good, lady was nice. but boy was that baked good subpar. we had some sort of vanilla cake with oreos or something on it. she sold us on the description but we were so disappointed. the vanilla cake was bland and dry. the icing was very generic and sugary with very little taste. we ordered a cappuccino and the cup was not even half-way full. will not be coming back !
