My first time trying this restaurant. I ordered their lunch box for take out. General Tso w/ steamed rice and a salmon roll, I passed on the soup as Im not really a soup person. The portions were great for the price ($9.20). Their General glaze had kind of an orange color to it, which worried me because it looked like a sweet and sour glaze. Im not really a fan of sweet and sour sauces, either. Unfortunately it tasted like sweet and sour chicken with red chili flakes mixed in. The heat level was mild. I hope they just mixed up my order with someone else, because my salmon roll also had a cream sauce poured on top, the color was similar to that of a Chipotle Mayo color. After reviewing the ticket stapled on the bag, I saw they wrote what looks like it says spicy salmon roll. The roll was pleasant, nonetheless. I dont remember if it was 6 or 8 cubic inch sized pieces, though. Overall, I think Ill give this place another try soon. Also, the restaurant was literally empty when I walked in at 12:15pm. Maybe that started my worrying, I dont know. Ill be back.

The sushi and soups are tasty, with a variety of options for sushi and their mochi, which is a sweet Japanese rice cake. The prices are a little high, considering only 4-6 pieces per roll are sliced, depending on the selection you make. I found the cuts to be inconsistent and the amount of rice incorporated in each roll to also be greater than the ratio of raw fish or vegetables, cream cheese, etc. The male staff was a little distracted by the football games that were playing on the televisions that they have around the seating area, as entertainment for the patrons. This was a bit distasteful. Particularly because there were only a few people in the restaurant and rather than tending to the individuals who are their source of income, they were instead paying more attention to a sporting event that could easily be DVRed at home or instead, stats could be retrieved by glancing at a personal smartphone (while behind the counter), something more discreet and demonstrating a real focus on the customer.

My wife and I have been looking for a nice sit down Chinese restaurant for a couple years in East El Paso. Think this is our place. The food was good. We ordered a couple dinner plates that came with cheese ragoons, fried or steamed rice and two entrees, one of which could be sushi. All very large portions for $10.50. We probably took home as much as we are. We also had a couple egg rolls, won ton soup and hot tea. It was all very good in comparison to the Chinese buffets around El Paso and several other restaurants. The service was friendly and we got our food very quick. The dining room is large enough for a large group but we were the only ones there for about 20 minutes of our visit. We were a little skeptical looking at the outside of the building, but the inside was well decorated and a wonderful atmosphere.

I went there thinking it would be like any other chinese food restaurant..I came with my girlfriend and we were really hungry, we sat in a comfy place (like if you have seen HIMYM) kind of like those places where its not too noisy... I ordered two plates and as soon as i took the first bite I had a weird feeling, its like I was reborn, I felt the blue color of the sky, one door closed and the other one opened, my taste buds felt like they were playing piñata in a quinceñera, it cured my appetite and brought up the feeling of love towards my GF, I felt like i found the heart of the sea, and I thought... Who on earth is giving the place these good reviews? I travel for business and relied upon the great reviews to try this place. The food was awful, the bathrooms and rest of the restaurant were dirty. There was only one other table seated in the entire restaurant, and I was there over the lunch hour. Should have been a warning sign! After my food was delivered I never saw the waitress again and had to stand at the cash register calling out hello when someone finally came out from the kitchen to take my money. I should have just walked out without paying, the food was that bad. I can honestly not remember having Chinese food this bad before.

Great prices for lunch or dinner and theyre consistent! Bamboo is walking distance from my home, so we tend to go there more frequently than other Chinese food restaurants. My favorite right now is the cashew chicken, but Ive been known to wander and havent had any regrets. Even their crab ragoons are awesome (a little sweet and always hot and fresh). They also serve sushi rolls which make a great addition to their lunch bento box. Sushi isnt the best in El Paso, but they make do with their special rolls. Although, I wouldnt come here just for the sushi. Service is also on point, as it seems to be a family restaurant. Will keep returning!!

BEST CHINESE, JAPANESE COMBINATION RESTAURANT THERE IS IN EL PASO. PRICE IS FAIR. ONE DISH OFF THE MENU IS ENOUGH FOR TWO PEOPLE TO SHARE AND ENJOY. I went there last week with my wife and friends and decided to order their seaweed salad, it was pretty good but too sweet for my taste. Me and my wife have been looking for a great asian cuisine since ive been stationed here and we finally found it.

Good prices. Ive tried many of the entrees and havent been dissapointed. I love the spicy chicken dish. The sushi is made with thin ingredients which is dissapointing. The fortune cookies are also the cheap ones that dont taste right or have good fortunes. Still the best take out chinese ive had here. The young kid at the front can be rude but the rest of the staff is always pleasant.

This was a really surprising find. David, Lee, and Paul did an amazing job and were very friendly and accommodating. The food was really tasty. We had the Miso soup, chicken fried rice, California rolls, and fried ice cream. The portions are huge and the price is inexpensive. It was kid friendly and a nice atmosphere. I recommend it!

The food is amazing as always. I recommend the sushi first! Its great and was quiet when we went in for an early dinner. The service was quick. The variety of food was excellent. One of the places I make sure to stop at whenever I travel to El Paso. We are so glad we tried this place. Weve been going ever since.
