Went there last night with a friend. The food was really tasty and cheap. I dont usually eat Asian-american because its usually phoned in, off a truck and the service is bad. I figured whatever Im craving noodles. Instead the food was amazing. I got Yaki Udon with combo meats and man it was just awesome. It was a ton of food too. I barely ate half and as soon as I got home I ended up killing the rest of it (Stomach hurts now .). The service was great and everyone was really friendly. Our waitress took the time to chat with us and joke around. I would give it 5 stars, but the restaurant was borderline dingy. It wasnt like gross bar dirty or anything, my food and area was clean, but you could definitely tell the restaurant used to look fancy and shiny. It just needs a cleaning service to come in and spruce it up. Regardless if you looking for mixed Asian fair this place is great. We had fried rice, Yaki Udon combo and I had a Giant Volcano drink thing that was pretty great. I say this as I cannot speak for the Sushi, looking the menu it doesnt look like their specialty. Theres a decent place down the street called Wasabi or Id go to or the best nearby sushi Ive had is MT. Fuji over in Parker.

I have never been treated so poorly at a restaurant in my life. I usually do not write reviews but I could not let this restaurant go unrecognized for their absolutely horrible customer service. My date and I started out with the super spider roll and the volcano drink which was very good. But when our entrees arrived they were sub par. I ordered the lo mein which we found white hair in and the teriyaki chicken which was cold. We notified the waiter about the chicken to possibly switch the dish out for something else, he notified the manager/owner and she went off. She proceeded to tell us that she wouldnt replace the dish with another but if we wanted the food warmed up she could make it hot. Then when we found the hair she told us that were just trying to get out of paying for our meal and stated what you know about chinese food anyway. Walked around the restaurant talking about us and pointing to her employees to advise them not to service us. In the end we just left only paying for the drink and the sushi. I will never eat at this restaurant again! Please stay away unless tou want poor service and mediocre food.

Have not been to Volcano for years, but it recently moved a little closer to my office so a co-worker went for lunch. She ordered Miso soup, which she said tasted very fishy and she is allergic to fish, and the Lemon chicken. I ordered a calamari appetizer and the Sesame Chicken. Never received the calamari and the Sesame chicken was so heavily breaded I had to cut it off to find the small amount of chicken inside. I asked prior to ordering and was told the batter was very light. Additionally, the "sauce" was very liberal and resembled jelly. It appeared that the sauce was premade and chilled but not heated up prior to being served. I could pick up a blob on my fork and hold it upside down and it did not fall off the fork. My friends Lemon Chicken had a different breading on it that was not as heavy but still overpowered the lemon sauce which was served in a bowl on the side. The sauce had a nice flavor though. We did not try the sushi but what we saw being delivered to other tables looked very good.

What a terrible service it is!!! We just came back for dinner in that stupid restaurant. The waitress is the worst one I ever met. We, four people, had dinner there. When we were still eating, the waitress came frequently to ask us if we were done. That made us uncomfortable. Later, one guy was resting, and she just took away his plate and bowl! I really dont know why she would do this. After several times asking, we hesitated to agree with her to bring the bill at that time. But the horrible thing did not end!! When she brought the bill to us, she pushed us to pay her ideal amount of tips!! We paid but not the amount she asked, and left. However, she ran and chased up, prevented us from leaving, asking for the tips!! What a shameless women!!! We told her that her service was unsatisfied. Guess what she said, "Dont come to eat if you dont have money!" . WTF! Is that what normal service industry looks like??? Dont go there! The waitress is the worst of the worst! Horrible experience!!!

The food for the most part is good. But when you have issues with the food or the order the customer service sucks and for that I will no longer order from them. I always get there shrimp egg rolls. I love them and tell people that Volcano has the best shrimp egg rolls and I got them this time and they were nothing like they normally are. I called in and the woman I spoke to was very rude and said that this has always been the recipe. Not true they were gross I let the lady know I get this often and then is not how they taste. She was very unwilling to help so I hung up after that no point of arguing with someone who refused to listen to me in the first place. Another one of my co workers went in after ordering something that was horrible and they refused to help her and then another one of my co workers had an issue with his order and they were rude and unwilling to help him. I am done with Volcano.

fight for our right stop the ignorance
4/13/17 figured that i would try this place as i work in the area. Waitress was not friendly and seemed to be annoyed that she had to sit me, much less take my order. Took her over 10 minutes to take my order as i saw only two other patrons. She jus dropped off a plastic cup of water in passing and did not ask i i wanted something else to drink. When she took my order she was quick to grab the menus from my hand. I thought was going to get a paper cut!!!!! I asked for the sushi lunch special and requested no sesame seeds. She rudely said we dont put seeds. I was ready to walk out. .... snizbitch attitude. After 15 minute wait i noticed she treated all the new patrons the same way. Sushi was good. Small portions. Service is poor. At least the owner picked up my card to pay as she didnt ask if i wanted anything else. $2 tip. Looking for another sushi place

I will never order from here again. I called and the lady on the phone was great. She took the 4 different orders and gave me prices for each one. Once the delivery guy came he let me know that he did not have proper change so just to work with him. This wasnt a big deal as I figured it would be a good way overall to tip. Once everything was complete the delivery guy said that is only a dollar tip each meal... First, we are located two blocks from the place. Second, he didnt have the correct change and just expected us to be fine with it. Lastly, i dont have to tip period and felt like telling him i need exact change after that. Working in DTC we are always trying different food in the area. We have a larger team than most and we all order food separately. The service i received was terrible and i hope ownership doesnt tolerate this experience.
