First of all it must be noted that I have only had Korean food a couple times in my life and I was not a fan at all. I saw some pictures of this and it looked like a different take on Korean food so I gave it a shot back in March. Boy am I glad I did. This place is amazing! I ordered the Kimchi Fries with steak (full order, split with my friend) and they were awesome. I also ordered the spicy chicken and dumplings bowl which is quite tasty and spicy and doesnt need any additional sauce added to it. I also ordered the ginger soy chicken wings. Also, very good. Next time I will be ordering the Not Your Mamas Fried Chicken but really Id like to try everything on the menu. This place is fast casual (you order up front, they bring the food out to you). Prices are typical of a sit down restaurant. It also looked like some people had come just to drink at the bar. The design is really cool and I loved that they were playing 80s music the whole time. I noticed at the time this was their 2nd restaurant and they were opening 1 more. I could really see this concept taking off and going nation wide. Korean food in general is probably scary to most people but this particular concept should have mass appeal even among those that dont like to break their comfort zone.

Well, after reading the many positive reviews and seeing the "rating," the wife and I made the trek hoping for a good Korean fix. Unfortunately, it was NOT worth the drive - or the tab. Should note this is my first and only review... So, I will keep this short. While this is supposidly a Korean "fusion" restaurant, I got zero Korean out of this experience. It was all fusion - aka whatever seemed to be "trending." Case in point, I ordered spicy Korean tacos. What I got was something akin to pulled pork on corn tortillas with some unknown covering - came with a side of frys with Indian curry seasoning (wtf). Sure, my fault for not reading the menu... I could go on but thats not the intent of this post. In short, if you are wanting to get Korean food, strongly consider somewhere else. Moreover, the food was mediocre at best and overpriced. Second star is for service which was very good.

Both food and drinks are fantastic. Happened to have a random convo with the owner one of the times that I visited. They have a drink specialist come in to consult on their bar drinks on a regular basis, and you can tell. Remarkably good. Have tried something different for every visit. Each time, its been delicious. The tacos, all the bop bowls, the KIMCHI FRIES, the fried chicken. Unless youre a food prude, I doubt youll have a bad food experience here.

I enjoyed my experience at the Seoul kitchen the food exceptional and the staff was very helpful. Seoul kitchen has a nice atmosphere that makes you want to hang out here. If there is anything negative about the place is the price, they are a little steep but if you dont mind a good experience at a slightly above average place I would recommend it

I guess they sometimes run out of fried chicken. Thats okay - everything is pretty good here. Update. Downgraded to 4. Food is still good, but my call in took forever to get ready. And I watched the person who runs the register sprinkle seaseme seeds on my rice with her bare unwashed hands. Maybe just a bad night but it only takes two.

Food is delicious. The bartender was very friendly and nice but he made every drink from looking at a recipe card. Thats the only reason i didnt give it 5 stars but that doesnt really matter. Definitely will go back. Happy hour is only Tuesdays which is weird. Wonder atmosphere friendly ppl good drinks. You need to try this place.

Third time here. Absolutely love it, as do all my friends and colleagues that I have brought here. The food is great; a nice fusion of Korean favorites. The service is nice and friendly. Not too noisy, but still lively and there seems to always something new to try. I hope they stay in the neighborhood for a long time!

Have been coming to this BBBop for about two years now and the food is usually really good. 4 out of 5 because they *always* forget to add the broccoli I pay an extra 75c for to my old school bop, and the over-easy eggs are sometimes over-cooked and arent runny. Would definitely reccomend the Kimchi fries.

Most of the people working here were high AF. The order # was promenently displayed on my table, yet the guy walked past me 3 times and asked everyone else if it was their food before finally asking me. Ive never been served hot food here. Its always lukewarm by the time I get my order.

Very open design, they have a reward program, their seasoning options are great. The fried chicken is wonderful. There is a happy hour and karaoke on some evenings. Staff very friendly. Egg rolls are also very good and different with potatoes in them.

My family and I ate there the day after Christmas. Within 4 hours one of us was vomiting with diarrhea. Within 8 hours EVERY PERSON IN OUR PARTY WAS SICK. I assume this was because someone failed to wash their hands . Never. Eating. Here. Again.

Affordable and delicious. The chicken skin on the wings was crispy and perfect. Can make your own bowl, and they have several sauces that you can use to create the perfect taste. You need to go, like now not later. I will definitely be back.

Bibimbop was large, definitely could have served 4-5 people. Taste was ok. Fried chicken had great flavor though. You order at the front and you grab your own plates and utensils. Theyll bring your food to your table.

Lovely place, great atmosphere, great food. Love their classic Bbbop rice bowl with an over easy egg. I can live eating that every day! I recommend it to tenured Korean foodies and new ones to expand your palette.

Love the eclectic music they play. Always quaint but lively. Do not order the NYMFT close to closing. My bad...but the chicken was not done. Still came back though; lesson learned. Hope its here to stay in the OC!

Decent Asian fusion place. I like the variety of sauces. The fried chicken has crispy skin and a moist inside, just like it should be. Not the most authentic restaurant but is still tasty.

The food was delicious and priced the same as other Korean style restaurants. It is a little bit of a louder atmosphere but has its own spunk! I would recommend if you enjoy Bi Bim Bop!

This is an amazing combination of influences, centered around unique Korean flavor. Anything with "steak" should not be missed. And the cocktails are wonderful! Great service, too.

Kim chi fries, lettuce wraps, old school bop, and half a bird...the perfect lunch for the perfect price. Everything is delicious. Service is great. Restrooms are clean.
