We come here every time when we are in Dallas but the most recent trip 2 days ago we left with bitter taste. Short story, we wont be coming back to this Korean restaurant again. Ordered the mixed meat with vegs and we expected to get "mixed" meat with vegs hot pot, but all the meats in the hot pot were the nasty sausages and two prices of tiny beef. The rest were vegs and a dried ramen you get from instant package. We asked to replace with a different hot pot since we havent even eaten it and it was a $33 hot pot that was worth junk. The hot dog meat in there were the lowest grade hot hogs you could get at kroger or any local grocery markets. The owner/manager refused. We probably should have stick to usual goat meat hot pot or asked the waitress more details on this hot pot but I have never seen a mixed meat w vegs hot pot like this before, especially in authentic Korean restaurants in NYC. They dont want to offer a replacement for a $200 meal our group orders every time we are in town. Its unfortunate, the service was good and other foods were decent but this really put us in a bad mood. One of us even said he wouldnt feed these hot dogs to his dogs. In the end we ended up ordering a different $33 hot pot and paying for both. Left a good tip for the waitress because service was good, but we wont be coming back here again and will go to a different Korean restaurant next time in Dallas.

Visited this place with my mom. Came in when they first opened for dinner on a Friday afternoon @ 4 pm and it was still empty when we left 2 hours later. The interior decor was very nice as being in a strip mall makes you think twice before going in. We were greeted in clear English but the server stumbled over taking our orders, not wanting to even look us in the eye. We did the BBQ or Two ($30) and then additional orders to go. Although we chose to cook ourselves, the server was happy to serve and cook for us. The banchan was nothing out of the ordinary, sadly no chapchae or pancakes. They charged extra for more rice and the kimchi was not very spicy which disappointed me. Maybe as Caucasians, they took consideration on us. However I did enjoy the soon dobu (tofu stew) which had some seafood in it as well - very yummy! Overall the food was satisfactory, the meat was deinitely not as quality grade as it was very fatty. However it cooked well and tasted good. Although there are other places in the Metroplex that serve better quality food, this is a great stop if you want something in the Richardson/Garland area. The pricing does reflect the food quality so no complaints there. Definitely recommend this place - a refreshing Korean BBQ in the middle of Richardsons China-town :)

Used to come here once a week to every two weeks. The pervious owner was very nice and he informed us that he was selling it. We avoided going for a while to make sure the new owners settled in. I am currently sitting at the restaurant, just finished eating. Wait staff was attentive enough, but we come for the food. All the meats tasted like plain meat. No marinade or spices that any of us could tell. They replaced some of the side dishes (new lotus root, tiny dried white fish, and some kind of fiberous stems) we were not a fan of all three. And the menu itself had a lot of dishes removed. If you are unfamiliar with Korean food, you will have to Google because they took all pictures of the menu and off the walls. My dad was so disappointed. He wanted to leave before we ordered.

There arent many Korean restaurants in that area so I love the location, located nearby Canton and Maxims. The staff is VERY friendly and personable (they love to joke around with customers) and the owner is Korean-born Chinese so the food isnt fully authentic but still delicious. I recommend the galbi & bulgogi barbeque and soontofu soups. My favorite dish is the kimchi soontofu. Im not a fan of their jajangmyeon though. That is a signature dish in Korea so I would recommend going somewhere more authentic like H-mart in Carrollton. I go there at least twice a month if that says anything.

I have been searching for authentic tasting Korean food for 3 years; this place nailed it. I lived in South Korea for a little over three years and loved the food. The service and the food here made me feel like I was back on Korea (with the exception of the prices). As mentioned the prices are little bit high, but you get a whole lot of bang for your buck (in my opinion). I ordered the bulgogi (grilled marinated beef) jungol (Korean soup) and you get the full traditional Korean spread of side dishes (which are unlimited by the way). If you dont know what that is, Google it

Quality food for low prices. We tried the vegetable steamed dumplings (phenomenal!), onion pancakes (very good), sizzling chicken and steak, vegetable fried rice (very good), vegan spinach soup, and marinated eggs. All of that was around $40 for 3 people and we took leftovers home as well. Great atmosphere. If we go again we will definitely get the dumplings and fried rice again. Vegan spinach soup tastes like plain vegetables soaked in water so if youre going to order it, add something to the bowl or get a different soup.

This used to be our go-to Korea dig. On a recent visit we noticed it was under new management. While the new owners were pleasant, the food took a few major steps down in quality, flavor, texture, etc. Its a bit dishonest that they get to keep all the old stellar reviews when this is essentially a new restaurant altogether. If you youre like us and loved this place, beware, its not what it used to be.

I used to like this place before it went through the new changes. It was friendly and the service was quick. The food was great and now it different the whole menu has changed. the service is not so attentive like it was. In my opinion if it is not broke dont fix it. I can honestly say that I will have to look for another Korean BBQ restaurant. So sad that they had to change everything.

If you are familiar with Korean food and you like it in general, than this is very good restaurant for you. Ive been 6 months in Seoul so Im pretty familiar with the Korean food, and I liked very much the Korean grill beef. The grill beef was as tasty as the one who served in the high class restaurants in Seoul, and the sea food soup was very delicious.

It was Soooo good. Ive missed high quality Korean BBQ and kim chi for a quarter century after living on an island in the Pacific. You will enjoy if you like this cuisine. I had marinated spicy pork and it was delicious. The servers were friendly and attentive. Well done!!!! Chang Jing Korean BBQ

Whoever wrote it was authentic has no clue about Korean food. In this place Bulgogi is not grilled at the table. Most basic element of bulgogi eating - kimchi, salad leaves and been paste, was only given to us after I specifically requested it, with a comment "we dont usually give it"...
