It isnt the importance of the time that the food WASNT delivered to the table; it was the fact that the order was wrong every single time the server, Lauren, returned to the table. If she couldnt hear us order, then why didnt she repeat the order back? Then, when the food was delivered after she obviously had forgotten to ring it in in the first place it was cold and gross. Your manager, Jason, came by the table and said he personally didnt care for the dip (Popeye dip) and said he didnt know why people ordered it. Who talks down about their own product? Not only that, the table was having alcoholic beverages and while she did ask everyone if they wanted water she lacked the ability to fill those same glasses up once. Who serves alcohol and doesnt make sure the water cups are kept full? I wanted to take the 25 Fire in the Hole Challenge, but sadly you will never get another penny of mine. The manager, Jason, came by at 1:30 and gave last call. TABC law states that if you pay for the license then you may sell until 2 AM. Which is fine if he was trying to get out of the restaurant, but when he came by and gave the last call he didnt stop to take our drink order, and our server, Lauren, returned about 7 minutes later. When we tried to give her our last call order, she not only said she couldnt do it, but that last call had already been made. She got Jason involved, and the drinks were made, but Lauren forgot an order. So one person didnt get a last call. And Jason returned to the table and said there was nothing he could do because the bar had already closed the drawer and the bottles. This was all at 1:52, which is funny because i thought that the cash drawers werent pulled until the establishment closed and all tabs were paid? Then after the entire terrible night was over, and in our angry state we called and asked for the information about the general manager, Jason stated that he was not only his own boss but he was also the district, area and general manager for this store. He said the man above him was named Jason, and the three people above him were named Jason as well. He said "Funny, isnt it?" I dont want your manager trying to crack jokes at me over the phone when i am trying to make a complaint. Who laughs at their guests requests and simply will not give out information on who is their boss? He also stated that if he couldnt fix the problem, then no one would be able to. He also said I was more than welcome to call the store everyday in hopes that maybe the other "Jasons" would be working so i could make my complaint then. He continued to tell me that he couldnt give me a phone number to anyone who worked above him, as they "wrote their own schedule and were only in every once in a while and he didnt have a phone number to reach them at." I dont think i have ever been more appalled or disgusted at treatment of a guest before, not to mention a group of SERVERS there to participate on SERVICE INDUSTRY NIGHT. I dont understand why i paid to be in your gold club to have perks and continue to give your establishment money if im going to be treated in this manner. This was most definitely the worst Pluckers experience i have ever had, and im so sad that you have driven a HIGH PAYING guest away. Not only a guest, but you have now soured the Pluckers name in the Highlands. What a shame.

well alright, i must admit, ive never given a 1 star review before..... Tonight was the final straw. Waited 15 minutes between each drink, and every time you ask someone a question, like maybe "where is my food after 40 minutes?" you get the this is just my job attitude. I always go sit at the bar as i live down the street and it was nice to discover a place that is super close and has a seemingly nice atmosphere. Unless Ciara is behind the bar, I have been screwed. After waiting 20 minutes for a drink this evening, i approached KUSH... the manager. Her response was that I must have had too much to drink already and that is why the bartenders were reluctant to serve me.... Yes Kush, as soon as i walked back to the bar, 10 minutes actually after getting there and waiting, I was served by your bartender, as both of them worked a 40 person bar deliberating about where our tab was. I am a manager and bartender, and boy let me tell you. No apologies, nothing.. And unlike most of the people in HP that I deal with on a day to day basis, I am not mean, I am not directly mad at who is working for me. I just want respect when I am spending my money, and the longer Kush(ok...) is solving customer issues, the more people like me, who live down the street and really enjoyed it at first, will decide it is best to take our money elsewhere. good luck pluckers

Fantastic service, every time. Great eye contact, great smiles, great "youre a regular" personality, and the place is very casual so I dont feel uncomfortable eating there (like Im under-dressed or something). The last time we went the waiter even offered us more lemons on our sweet tea refills, we both went deer in the headlights because we have never had that kind of service before and didnt know what to say! The wings are always fantastic (though I cant handle the heat, at all, so I go for the not spicy sauces) though Ive yet to try their other items but my husband says if you go to Pluckers, you come for the wings. I would also like to try their deserts sometime (wish they had a desert menu on the table! Only way I knew there was deserts was a picture on the front of the menu!) Their sweet tea is perfect but the strawberry lemonade we had was extremely tart, not very enjoyable to drink, but I imagine some people like that. You can get a dry rub on your fries that makes them delish! We went to a Pluckers in Austin and it PALES in comparison to this one! Sometimes on game days and Saturdays they are absolutely swamped. Expect slow service and people busting their butts/being tired, but that just goes to show how great this place is. :)

Terrible.. service was slow. Asked for an appetizer never came. Friend at the table asked for a straw from 3 different people finally got one.. ordered alcoholic beverages took about 15 minutes to get them. Waitress checked on us only 3 times during our 2 1/2 hour stay. Wouldnt let my boyfriend order another drink because he didnt order food however he wasnt drunk or even tipsy. She brought us our check we werent ready to leave but we went ahead and paid. Someone at the table needed change and the waitress never returned. We then went to the manager and he still made them pay the $25 check upon all of us stating our complaints. And issued a $15 gift card for everyone at the table! 6 PEOPLE ... thats a shame and ridiculous. How does that even compensate for all of the problems. Im never returning to this establishment. AND I made sure to take their wonderful survey cards and will be sending them in along with everyone else at the table !!!!!!
