I gave this location a chance, even though back home they were consistently inconsistent, always messing up orders, etc. This time proved no exception. I had been going to OC for years back home and had no problem for the first several years, so I have no idea what happened with the chain. My first calzone came out COMPLETELY burned. I could smell it. So I immediately sent it back. Why it was sent out in the first place I have no idea. My second calzone came out and as I cut into it, it had onions. I had ordered it with italian sausage, canadian bacon, and mushroom, with only mozzarella. Upon sending it back, my server asked me if I wanted onions on my new one. Last time I checked, I didnt order onions. I"m sending it back because I didnt want onions, so WHY would I want onions?! My third calzone came out, with top of the crust crispier than it should be. So I accepted it, begrudgingly, because I was hungry, and my friends had already finished their meals. I then said to the manager, that I better not be charged for this. After that, the server never checked on us, never refilled anything, never asked if we wanted another drink, nothing. Bad service, poor quality control, poor management. Ive been a server, so I tend to overtip, but THREE times?! Absurd. I will never be back. Im only giving it one star because it wont let me post 0 stars. I was so excited that as a transplant I could have a little taste of home. But the only taste I received was that nothing had changed. Do yourself a favor and go ANYWHERE but here. At Trinity Irish Hall Pub, I had 2 drinks and tipped $10. At OC I tipped $2. Trinity had fantastic service and was attentive. Take a cue from Trinity OC, do a better job.

My husband and I used to go here occasionally on Tuesday night around 9pm. Every time the service was extremely slow. 20 minutes to get water for me because Im pregnant, 30 minutes if you want any other drink, alcoholic or not. Then they drop the drinks off fast and try not to take your order for food, ignoring you as they rush away. If you get them to stop ignoring you....it is a minimum of 30 minutes to get your food. Last night we ordered immediately upon sitting down, knowing it would be a long time. We simply ordered the one topping pub pizza for $2. Usually we order 4. Last night we were very hungry so we ordered 6 and were planning on sharing with people meeting us there. They cancelled at the last minute. We had already ordered and service was terrible so we just thought to take the left overs home. When we finally got our food and finished eating we had to wait another 20 minutes for the check. Waiter was very rude and highly unpleasant the entire time. At this point it had been a terrible ordeal and we wanted to get home. We paid and asked the manager for a to go box. He told us NO that it was dine in only. We had been there over an hour and a half! And already paid! He immediately walked away into the kitchen. We were appalled! This whole time we had been polite and respectful. We usually tip 20% regardless of quality of service. And we did this time too. We will not be going back. Saying we cant take the food we already paid for?! We will be contacting corporate to let them know of this recurring problem of rude, slow, horrible service with a nasty manager and dirty restrooms. Absolutely unacceptable. Pizza taste like deep dish pizza Hut. Not worth it.

The food was awesome as always but I normally rate restaraunts based on service and taste of food. So I rate this restaraunt a 2 and a half because the service is atrocious. To the owner.... You are doing yourself a disservice by not hiring a completely new staff with the exception of one waitress. You should be making 5x more than what your making. Your bartenders have no personality, not friendly and most the waiters act like they dont want to be at work with the exception of one African American young lady that works at night who is awesome and loves what she does and is probably the only life you have in the entire restaraunt and she loves music. I love your restaraunt and I just want to see it perform up to the expectations that Im sure youre expecting it too. PLEASE TAKE THIS REVIEW INTO CONSIDERATION.. Since my last REVIEW I visited the restaurant and a new bartender by the name of Sarah I think is now working the bar. Great step in the right direction..

Nothing special for a Pizza Place with Chicago in its name you would expect "Deep Dish Pizza Pies" which as a bit of a disappointment they dont serve up. Ordered some Calzone. It was super sour. They probably dont care about the tomatoes they select. I love Italian food but that also makes me a great critic of the stuff cause Ive had so much at so many different authentic restaurants. They had something which was like a thin crust but it wasnt thin nor crusty! Pizza tasted good but I couldnt order what I wanted. Deserts were limited and nothing authentic! Even for an American take on Italian food this place was a let down in terms of options. My friend ordered a cocktail which tasted as if they rationed the alcohol.(they could have just called it a mocktail).. Our server was polite and hospitable. Prices a bit higher than what I would pay for the food that was served. Portions are reasonable.

Went in at 105am , 55 min. to close Guess what no pizza for you. Now they may have the best pizza since the inception of the food stuff, but thanks to their false name, pizza does not come before taproom in there operation only in the name. I may never know, motivation to go again when it fits there secret food times(it is a secret if it is not posted), having the bar tender render a spiel with multiple stop time food, drink, merriment. Is not how its suppose to work. you are either open till 2am with all service available or not. I really wouldnt have minded being told it is to late at 145am or maybe 130 depending on cooking and prep time. I not asking you to stay after closing after all. I work nights, this was not a drunken choice to stop for food this was gonna be lunch.

I have dined here a number of times since the Grand Opening...can see the management is attempting to make improvements to what they started out with...which was awful. They still have some improvements to make in the quality of the food. The pizzas are ordinary and for the price seems to be focused on being a filler to the people who are there for the beer. The beer is also ordinary. Their location off a very busy service road of Central Expressway, and with the lack of convenient parking, is also going to be the kiss of death for them..but maybe the new owners of Mockingbird Station have a plan to deal with the poor parking situation.

We went to buy 2 medium pizzas to go, with my 5 year old grandson after 30 minutes the hostes came to tell us one of the pizzas was undone they neef to put in the oven again from 3 to 5 minutes, and you know is not true, is a pizza restaurant they know almost 99% when a pizza is done, after 35 minutes, they gave us the pizzas, we ask for the manager. He came saying apologize normally takes 20 minutes, but because the people on the restaurant, there were like 15 people, worst apolo.gies, worst lies, Old Chigago pizza is good, but the service in this specific restaurant (5319 E Mockingbird, Dallas 75206) is very bad
