I recently ordered cookies to be sent to a family member for their birthday. The order was placed December 9th and we wanted them to get delivered by December 18th on their birth date. We never received tracking info, shipping confirmation, etc. Getting worried we started calling and emailing Kessler on December 16th. After dozens of messages and emails, we had no response. Needless to say, the cookies still were not delivered by December 24, which happened to be the day our family member travelled out of state for Christmas. Upon their return, a week later, they found a package of cold week old cookies sitting on the front porch. I have attempted to contact Kessler since then still with no response. Cookies arent bad, but absolutely not worth the hassle and lack of customer service. Most local bakeries compare with their product.

Kessler Baking Studio is an experience that involves all your senses. My mouth is watering now just thinking about all the deliciousness theres to enjoy at Kessler. From the spicy pecans to the brownies with walnuts, Kessler has something for everyone. Stop by on a Saturday for cinnamon rolls, yes cinnamon rolls! I can smell them baking now. Oh and dont forget the seasonal Lemonader cookie that I tasted for the first time this weekend. Where has it been? Was I looking over it to get to the Oatmeal Cranberry cookie or the Chocolate Chip cookie? I dont know but Im not missing out again. Dont forget about the homemade chocolate milk. Youre going to need to something to wash all that sweetness down. I will most definitely be back soon and Ill pick of a gift card for my mom.

I believe the company went out of business in early 2013. I was given a Xmas gift of four monthly shipment of cookies. The shipment from late December arrived, but none since then. Ive called the company several times since to get the rest of the cookies that were kindly paid for. No one *ever* answers the phone and no one returns phone messages. About a half a dozen emails resulted in a single email weeks ago saying my cookies would be sent out right away. No cookies ever showed up and future attempts to get the cookies have been unproductive. So, Im pretty sure theyre out of business.

Id been craving a brownie for literally 4 days. I googled "brownies near me" and OMG this place popped up. The chocolate brownie was so moist and delicious, the Oak Cliff Ranger cookie was a delightful surprise and the peanut butter cookie was just right. There are so many other cookies and brownies to try I will definitely go back very soon. Also, the customer service is A1. Love it.

Why do I love this place? Clyde! Thats why. Hes extraordinarily warm and welcoming and the cookies are outstanding! If youre in the mood for something a bit off the beaten path, do yourself a solid and check out the Hot Chocolate. Its an excellent balance of heat and sweet.

Initially, I arrived about two minutes to closing. Actually they were about to lock the doors; I was welcomed with warm Southern charm!!!! Phenomenal customer service.... Splendid confections......... An addictive pleasure!!!!!!!!
