Even though the ordering kiosk is out of order, and one must drive to the window to place the order, the Proprietors are extremely friendly and the food is awesome. I love the gizzards, yes gizzards, but I also love the specials whether catfish or thighs or breasts or a mixed batch, theyre always good. The fries are great and a little added bonus - pickles and jalapeño that are served with the meals are just a nice little added touch. The prices are reasonable and the hours are good. I wish they were open Sundays!

Maybe I dont know good chicken because I see the great ratings and think this must be the place....call me crazy but when I open the box and it smells like bad fried fish, taste likes bad fried fish then Im thinking only place for this is the garbage I had to soak my hands in vinegar to get rid of the smell and no amount of room Freshener is getting it out of my space ...I cant say Ive tried all the fried chicken so there might be worst places but to date this is the worst Ive had.

This is my new goto place in East Dallas for fried chicken. Churches has gotten terrible and Bubbas is too far for me now. Purchased an 8 piece mix, come with a side, 4 slices of bread, a sack of pickles and jalapenos w/carrots. Chicken was as good or better than Bubbas, very crispy, juicy and very flavorful. The service was quick and friendly and the food was hot and delicious.

Are you looking for fast chicken, in a questionable location? Chicken House Plus is your spot. The name begs the question, what happened to Chicken House "not plus"? It definitely isnt the experience you will find at places like Babes, but if you are craving poultry, deep friend, and dont want it from a supermarket - this is a good bet.

I ordered a large order of gizzards. What I received were twelve of the smallest gizzards I have ever seen and most did not have the crispy batter covering. I went to Popes Chicken and received at least 30 of the largest, crispest gizzards for less than I paid at Chicken House.

The woman is always friendly, and really great chicken. The closest to the old Hendersons chicken that was there years ago that weve been able to find. However, when the man is in charge, it doesnt seem as fresh.

LOVEEEEEE THEIR FRIED CHICKEN. Fries are amazing too! I go there about once a week, people are always so friendly. Definitely recommend anyone thats craving Fried Chicken in East Dallas to go here!

Be careful of this place my boyfriend got salmonella poisoning from their chicken that put him in the hospital. When I told the owners what happened they didnt care. It almost killed him

Totally passable chicken. Service is what youd expect and the prices are just fine. I always drive through so I cant speak for the atmosphere in the wee dining room.
