Friday night & only 1 "new" cook??? Really? Came in, seated in 10 mins, NP. Seated, servers switched on me, NP. Ordered a basic "crepe cake" off of the new special menu... after a 1-hour wait... explanation given by server "the new cook was too embarrassed to tell me we were out of that cake!" OK, stood calm & collected. Ordered strawberry French toast w/ a complimentary scoop of ice cream :).... after another 45 mins, server asks "Im gonna give you 2 free scoops! Vanilla or chocolate? Fudge or strawberry syrup??".... I gave him a stare... what does the recipe say??! NP. After 15 mins he shows HP w/ a side of vanilla icecream & strawberries. That was it. I asked "whats going on??" He said, "we have a new cook, I did everything right. I can get the manager." She shows up with my french toast, "can I get you anything else? Sorry, we only have one cook." I said nothing & refused to even look at either of them. Its a good thing my main intention was to study, or there would have been show. The server came one last time, "you dont have to worry about this food." I said my thanks, & then he was nowhere to be found for the next 2 hours. No other server would crack me a smile or even look my way. I was too upset to eat, & now after 4 hours I want to at least not disrespect my food & take it to-go, but no one cares. I even wanted to tip the server with a huge benefit-of-doubt, but he has vanished..... I wanna give my experience *ZERO STARS*.... UTTERLY DISAPPOINTED. THEY SHOULDVE WORKED BETTER TO SERVE ME, RATHER THEY IGNORED ME... ALL OF THEM. SUPER DISGUSTED.

We had a party of 10, on a Sunday at 11 am. We check in to what appears to be chaos but wait it out. 52 minutes later, we are told we were forgotten and never put on the list to begin with. Why not fuss before the 52 minutes? Because we could clearly see the wait would be a good 30 minutes or so and had kiddos that really wanted ihop. So we get back on the list and seated after 12 pm. The manager comes to us and states that the cook is behind and we could wait a very long time for our food. After being "forgotten" you would think we would have been a priority but the manager was exasperated and clearly didnt give a hoot if we packed up and left. She told us this news as if she was upset with us. The waiter says that they were short handed thanks to the manager not doing the schedule properly leaving one cook for all. Smh...We go ahead and order and it took an hour to get our food. When it was time for the check, it came to us before we finished our sentence to ask for it! Crazy how it takes forever to get seated or eat but by gosh they can get that check to us in a jiffy. The leadership in this establishment is poor and lacking. All the waiters and such were clamouring all over each other. People waited so long that we actually witnessed a guy go into the kitchen to find his waiter! 2.5 hours later and we were on our way with no offer of a discount or even an apology from the manager. DO NOT STOP IN HERE. This place needs to close its doors until the kinks can be worked out.

One of the WORST places to dine in Cypress. I recently moved here from Spring,TX my family and I dine at an IHOP on occasion. (We dont dine out much) the Spring location ALWAYS made us feel welcome and appreciated... After attempting to dine with IHOP in Cypress I will never go back. We waited over 5 minutes in the lobby , no one greeted us .. No one said "ill be right with you" .. Mind you this restaurant was not busy and honestly had a odor from the time we walked in. Finally we were seated. After 15 minutes no exaggeration.. We got up and walked out once I spoke with the "manager" . We had sat there no one served us. No one offered to get us drinks .. Several employees walked past us and no one EVER spoke to us. This restaurant was not even busy with customers! I do not tolerate unprofessional service or lack of service. I do however understand sometimes there is a wait but when you have no one even greeting your customers and the restaurant was not busy you have NO excuse.

Where to start when everything about my service was absolutely terrible. I walk in and get seated by the hostess but after sitting for over 5 minutes I look and see all three waitress sitting in a circle talking. I walk up to the and ask who is my waitress because no one came to take my drink order and they all look a round because they dont know which one of them is my waitress. One of them takes my drink and food order and doesnt return to my table for 35 minutes. After getting my food is was extremely burnt and missing items in it ( Big steak omelette) because they said they were out of things in the kitchen the pancakes were extremely small and overcooked. The waitress never stopped by my table while eating to ask if I needed a refill. Once I finally tracked her down to get a refill she took my cup. After five minutes I see her walking pass me with no cup. Turns out she forgot I wanted a refill. This was my first and last time at this ihop never go here

HORRIBLE. Took over 10 minutes to get greeted after being seated (had to ask other waiter to get our own waiter/waitress). When we finally got our drinks, my iced tea was watered down so I had to ask for a glass of ice. Waitress took our order, and being one of three tables in the whole restaurant, after waiting over 35 minutes for food, we had to get up and ask to check on our food and when they brought the food, the pancakes were hard as rocks. The fruit (supposed to be cold) was hot as well (Im assuming from being under the heat lamp for so long). Hurt us to pay money for horrible food/service, so we talk to the manager and he gave us 55 dollars credit in 5 dollar credit vouchers (so we received 11 total) and then on the way home we come to find out we can only use 1 at a time per visit so he TRICKED us into getting us out of there. Do not go here, the IHOPs in the champions/tomball area put this one to absolute shame.

Ugh! So gross is all I can describe as my singular experience there. As soon as you walk into the restaurant you are immediately bombarded with wet dog smell. I toughed it out since my kids and I only had 40 minutes to eat. We ordered French toast. It came out soggy and undercooked which concerned me since Im pregnant. I politely asked our waiter if they could replace my order and cook it a little longer. They brought out the second order of French toast cooked the same as it had been before. I decided I wasnt eating. Fortunately, they didnt make me pay for it. Before we left, I took my kids to the bathroom since my oldest is potty training. We took the large stall and you would not believe what I saw: a used freaking condom on top of its wrapper on the floor under the toilet paper dispenser! This place is so disgusting and unsanitary! Dont go here!
