Every time I go to La Pradera, I order the beef fajita nachos and it is always the same thing, hardly no fajitas on the nachos but there is never a lack of jalapeños on the nachos. I order fajita nachos, not jalapeño nachos. We went today 07/01/17 and my Nephew ordered the fish tacos, two came on the plate and it came with rice and beans. There was one thin slice of fried fish and the rest was lettuce and he was very disappointed to say the least. He took out the strip of fish and ate it and I put the lettuce back in the tortilla and waited for the waitress to come back but in the meantime his girlfriend had ordered the chicken tacos, two came on the plate and there was very little chicken in the tacos and a lot of tomatoes, the waitress came and asked how our food was and I gave her my Nephews plate and told her to tell them in the kitchen to eat that "taco salad" because it had a lot of lettuce and a thin strip of fried fish and then I showed her his girlfriends tacos and told her to tell them in the kitchen to eat that "tomato taco" what they call chicken tacos! Money wasted for jalapeños, tomatoes and lettuce. We will not eat there again!

Im giving a 3/5 instead of something lower because my husband said his fajita was very good and very flavorful. He got the triple meat plate and enjoyed the whole thing. I felt that what I got as very average. And maybe somewhat strange. I got a Cheese enchilada and one taco. My enchilada came with a corn tortilla, which is different to me. But I tried it just the same. I would definitely request a flour tortilla in the future. The taco was hard shell with ground beef. I feel like I never see this on a menu and was specifically in the mood for that style. Again, pretty average. The service was slow.

Good food but when another customer decided to yell at my daughter the staff wasnt helpful at all. Like oh well its not their problem so I went to the table & loudly exclaimed that a 16 year old will NOT speak to MY child like that & if any one of that little bitches parents or family have a problem then we can settle this now. Oh then they decide to step in and ask me to go to the other room. So they condone teenagers yelling at children they dont even know but they do not condone a parent who will always defend her baby!!!

Pretty disappointed. The salsa was pure liquid and tasted strongly of cilantro, no spice whatsoever. I ordered the queso as a reprieve but it tasted like Velveeta, but preferable to the salsa. I ordered a combination with a cheese enchilada and beef tamales. The tortilla of the cheese enchilada was tough and the tamales appeared to be premade, and they were disgusting. The waitresses were nice and attentive.

Pre-pared plates. Nothing special. Pretty much a dump. Waiter didnt bring me a tea refill. Food was bland. The guacamole dip was the only tasty dish we ate and we had to season it. Dont waste your money. Go to Sonic and get a good burger.

This place was terrible. The chicken fajita meat had a taste like rubber. I ate there a couple of times to see if it was a off day, but it wasnt. Service was good, but you cant eat the service. Suprised this place is still open.

This place rocks! As this town has its share of Mexican restaurants, I easily slip this one to the front. Food is good, atmosphere is good, service can be good (depends on who you get). The food keeps me coming back for more!

If I could give this place a zero I would. Worst experience ever. Enchiladas and tacos were stale and hard. Soup tastes like water. Take the trip to la pradera in Kaufman, go anywhere else but here please. Very bad.

Theres a cantina in the back wherein you can smoke. Probably due to change of employees the service has declined to the point of irritation and Ive had better food elsewhere. Wont be going back.
