Ripped off and insulted. Had a business meeting here today with a total of 5 people. Lunch menu features all items under $15. We all ordered an off the menu item that the waiter sold us on, Napoleon beef or something of the like, with never any mention of price. When the bill came, the total was a staggaring $275 for our lunch meal of FIVE people. Fortunately the waiter included a $45 automatic gratuity for serving our LARGE 5 person table, so that saved me some trouble. Nice of him. I tried to negotiate with management but was only insulted and talked down to. Manager refused to let me meet with owner. Spoke with him later in the day and he just hung up on me. My point is that there is no scenario I can fathom in which you walk into a restaurant with five people, not a menu item over $15, and leave with a $275 bill. Obviously there was either a severe breakdown in communication, or a SEVERE sin of ommission. I would recommend staying away. Go to Panda Express instead and pay your electricity bill with the difference.

I recently moved down from Houston and I was looking for Fine dining in corpus christi. I happened upon this place. Naturally, as a foodie, I like to read reviews to get a better picture of what the restaurant/food scene is like in Corpus Christi.The high number of positive reviews lead me to Vietnam Restaurant. This place was undoubtedly high-end, elegant and the price-tag matched the boldness. I was looking for something different from the Taco/Tex-mex norm that is seen on every corner of Corpus Christi. Vietnam restaurant is unlike any other restaurant in Corpus Christi. The chef is amazing. I had the fried broccoli as an appetizer and it was battered with black pepper. It is was simply amazing. I have also had the veggie special with egg-plant, bean sprouts, tofu, eggs and spinach. I will highly recommend it to anyone who wants to have a wonderful meal or take their significant other to a very impressive atmosphere for a great food experience.

I am in Corpus Christi for a conference. The restaurant is across the street from my hotel. When I walked in, I was scared to see the menu. It looked so upscale. the hostess, wait staff and manager were all real friendly. I stayed, ordered to go (felt out of place and underdressed) and ate in my room. I had the Imperial Rolls and Beef Fried Rice. At first, I thought the cost was kind of steep, but after the first bite, it was well worth the cost. I am recommending the Vietnam Restaurant to other members of my conference.

LOVE this restaurant. Always fresh, tasty, delicious amazing food! Seriously have never been disappointed by the food or the service! My favorite appetizer is the Fried Brocoli. OMG sooo good! And every entree I have tried has been fabulous! The servers are so nice and sweet. The food comes out quickly! Definitely would recommend this restaurant to anyone who is looking for a super nice, delicious place to eat!! Cant wait to go back

If youre going to be named Vietnam Restaurant at least try to learn how to make a decent bowl of pho.......Especially if youre charging $15 for tasteless broth, a few sprigs of cilantro, and scraps of chicken....Tasted like they just used the wonton base because they didnt prepare the pho broth. I wouldnt be surprised if the restaurant is thinking... Oops theyre on to us. Save your money and time

The food is good. The service is good. Make sure you are certain about the price youre paying for your food. I ordered scallops. Which were 27 on the menu. The cost was actually 43. I guess scallops were on the special menu. My waiter told me that most people dont see scallops on the menu? Its on the second page right in plain sight. I never wouldve ordered $43 scallops. I will not go back.

Staying at the Omni for a conference, so was nice and close to walk to. Truly enjoyed this restaurant. Beautiful interior! Friendly staff. Had the fried garlic/black pepper broccoli appetizer--DELICIOUS!! Could have made an entire meal of just that! Seriously good! Really enjoyed ourselves. Id love to go back, but its a long drive from Kansas.

This is one of my all time favorite places to dine in Corpus Christi. The gourmet Vietnamese cuisine is perfection. I frequently dine at Vietnam and always have a delicious meal and perfect service. The atmosphere is sophisticated and quiet. My favorites are their seafood specials and the Crispy Duck. Go, eat, enjoy.

My family went this place yesterday and we were wating to be seated for 10 minutes, another waiting 15 minutes to order foods and waited long long time and still no foods on our table. We spent in the restaurant almost 1.5 hours just waiting and still havent got any food!! I highly recommand NOT to go this place.

Enjoyed our evening at cats. We had five children and 4 adults. Very entertaining nice setting. Food was average. Childrens plates were cold when they got to the table. Ours were fine but not special. We did wait about 2 hours maybe one and a half hours to get served. Glad we went dont know that we would return

I love Vietnam Restaurant. The food is always amazing and the staff is always on point. Its a bit on the fancy side, so its a very nice atmosphere. Very relaxing. I highly recommend this if you havent been already.

Inside is very dirty. Water had small black bug. Food did not come over 40 mins after order. I will NOT go there anymore. And will not recommend to any others.

Watch out for the off the menu up-sell. Its a tourist trap trick. The specials cost twice a normal dish, but you wont get told that until your bill comes.
