Overpriced experience....got there and was sat as soon as i came in. About 5 minutes later waitress brought me the menu along with these burned overly fried tortilla chips mix and old looking/tasting salsa ( canned chunky salsa would of tasted alot better than the one they brought me ) and told me that shell be back to take my order. After glancing throught the menu ( 3 minutes later ) i was ready to order but the waitress was nowhere to be seen, i could just hear the waitress giggling n talking loudly in the back which was probably their prep area. About 25 minutes later i had to wave down a different waitress who was cleaning, several tables away from mine and placed my food order, i ordered the Tripas plate, medium crispy with homemade corn tortillas. About 10-15 minutes later my food was brought out..smal too medium plate with rice, beans, tripas and what appeared to be pico de gallo . Food n corn tortillas were cold, tasteless, disappointing, coming from an " authentic mexican restaurant " , which thats how they advertise themselves as one. I would enjoyed better buying a taco from a Stripes gas station than eating at this place. Work has made me travel alot n eat at different places and i would not eat again at this restaurant nor recommend it to anybody.Their food is tastless and overpriced and i would not eat there again nor recommend it to anybody.

We go here with a pleasant arrival and then upon leaving and arriving at my hotel I had called them back because the order was wrongly placed to them calling me a liar for which I am not. Then we had told them we threw out the taco and we are calling back to buy the correct taco. Then we told them we know Spanish to order the taco correctly and that we just would like to buy the one that one that we originally intended on getting CARNE ASADA. Why would I Drive 7 miles just to get tacos and come back to have the wrong taco I didnt even want a reimbursement.....

Everytime I go to this restaurant I have to ask for FRESH flour tortillas! Whether it be in the morning or at night. Today I went and picked up dinner and I got OLD, TOUGH flour tortillas. I called to complain and was told that after a certain time they stop making FRESH food. She said I could bring them in the morning when her boss was there to see if I could EXCHANGE them. I am not going to go back to a restaurant just to get TWO tortillas! I am fed up with this place!! You shouldnt have to ask for FRESH food!!!

Inspected by kitchen cops and only scored an 89. Health inspectors found the walk in cooler kept at the wrong temperature, raw chicken stored above ham and cooked food, food not wrapped properly and onions stored on the floor. Other violations included left over food not labeled, employees not wearing hair restraints, drinking cups did not have lids, wiping towels were not stored properly and bowls were used to dispense food.

My co workers and I are regulars here at this restaurant. We were eating and a German cockroach came up my co workers arm and ran all around the table. The owner just said sorry and walked away. This was horrible that we had to pay for our food even though we had to chase their problems away. Disgusting. They no longer have service from our business. Horrid horrid. Most of the restaraunt saw it.

I used to live an hour and a half south of San Antonio for several years, so I like to think I had the opportunity to enjoy some real authentic Mexican food! However, this is the best Authentic Mexican food and service Ive ever had!! Maybe its because Ive been deprived the past few years living back in north Texas, regardless, you cant go wrong here!!

Prompt service, friendly wait staff, inviting and appealing atmosphere, large menu, childrens menu, salsa is great, food quality and taste is above 90% compared to other restaurants. Quick access from and to highways makes this place convenient. Over all I rate this beautiful and relaxing dining experience a 93%.

Absolutely STELLAR customer service. Food was the worst that Ive ever had. Got a #29 to go and had Velveeta slices inside the enchiladas NO sauce on them. Taco was unpleasant meat and flavorless. Only thing that was yummy was the beans. Employees were the best part of the entire visit. Very disappointed.

First off $3 for coffee outrageous! Restrooms disgusting made me want to throw up! I guess somebody else felt the same because there was poop outside near the door it looked human! Do not go to this place ever you will be sadly disappointed and your wallet will be broken!

We are visiting from San Marcos and stumbled upon this cute little restaurant. The food was AMAZING! We had fajitas. Service was wonderful and we received our order quickly. This will be our go to restaurant anytime we visit Corpus. Highly recommended!

The best barbacoa tacos! They also drop off four different house made sauces in unmarked squirt bottles at your table! They were all amazing! Everything else we we got was excellent south Texas Mexican cuisine!
