A great selection of modernized fusion Asian baked goods and bubble teas. The baked goods are always fresh and smell heavenly. The space is clean and organized with plenty of room to walk around and select your goodies since 85C gets very busy during rush hour times. I also like that there is plenty of seating areas both inside and outside so that you can sit and enjoy what you bought. Another great feature is the separate drink line that lets you bypass the bakery shoppers when all you want is a drink. In terms of pricing, compared to other Asian bakeries, 85C is a bit pricier, but they offer a wider selection of unique fusion items. My favorite items are the egg tarts, mango bread, and the spicy green onion chicken. For drinks, I only order the iced citrus green tea because its so refreshing with real fruit juice and fruit slices in it.

Quite frankly speaking I dont understand all the hype about this place.. I finally got to check this place out. First of all, their operation is a bit off and creates the wait line by having 1 or 2 (slow) workers standing by the wait line bagging each pastry customers have on their trades. The flow is not efficient so while there is a long line and the baggers are doing their thing, the cashiers are standing there doing nothing... Is having 1 or 2 baggers bagging each pastry (again, very slowly) necessary? I hope they really think about this one. Next, while the slow bagger was bagging each of my pastry, her fingers were all over my pastries.. this was a big no no! Lastly, and this is a big one... the pastries are not that good....

I have been here a fist full of times. Great location in this new plaza. Great environment and the size of the bakery is perfect for the busy times. They have quick meal options and of course, a great variety of sweets. Not a big fan of asian treats? They have American baked goods, as well! Teas, baked goods, sweets, and custom cakes. What more could you ask for in a bakery? And all at great prices. Edit: we have made another visit. This time the wife chose the items. Not impressed. The sea salt coffee drink was delicious. We were also able to return one of the packaged goods we did not like. Sweet! They have a cool new card reader. Looks fancy!

This place has just opened so it is really popular spot in Dfw area now. I visited around 8pm on Friday and still a lot of people lined up outside. My friend and I bought some pastries, a slice of cake and drinks. I have heard that this place is popular for drinks but it tasted like water. I dont think I want to try their drinks again. The cake was not really good either but fair enough for the price. We really enjoyed pastries. Those were yummy and the price was cheaper than other Korean owned bakeries (carrollton is the second K-town in dfw area). Anyway, I would like to go back for pastries only.

Glad to see Taiwan Chain make it to DFW. The bakery is great, indoor seating is modest - my main complaint is that they put all drinks, in to-go cups, whether you are dining in, or taking out. Would like to suggest using REAL MUGS for dine-in customers; and use less plastic for bakery items. For coffee drinkers, their 85C brew has creamer and sugar, so dont expect it to be some kind of blend black coffee. Once I see some mugs offered, Ill update my rating. :-)

The egg custards and mini pies are my favorite, especially when heating them up in a toaster oven for 5 minutes. Also have tried and like the iced sea salt jasmine tea with lychee jellies. Lines can be long on the weekends and also around lunch time on weekdays. The people putting pastries in bags could be more efficient, though to be fair theyve only been on the job for a month. Cant compare their speed to the people working in the Irvine, CA location.

The bread seems to be okay, but the cakes are not worth the price. The sponge is to dry and the flavor underwhelming when it comes to sugar ratio. I took into account the difference between the American and Asian pallet. The coffee was ordinary as well with excessive foam to try and hide that fact. New update, I did a re-attack on another piece to see I had it all wrong. The sponge was still a little to dry, but the cream was bomb.

Your product are awesome everything taste great except that theres always a long line today for example Im just following the person in front of me then this little "Asian " walks in an start "yelling" at us to move the line the other way now first of all no "Hello"hows everyone can I "please "have everyone move the line to the other side, shes completely forget that those people standing in line are the one paying here salary!!

The pastries and fresh breads were really good, like 10/10 will go back to get more. Delicious! I ordered a double shot latte which was very tasty, my fiancé ordered a milk tea and was very disappointed. I will say that the lines are entirely too long and they need to find a way to remedy this issue. I would love to be able to pop in on my way to work but this place is not accommodating to those in a time constraint.

The pastries in the self service case were pretty tasty, but the cakes behind the counter were dry and tasteless. I also ordered a milk tea was very watered down. Fair priced pastries, but over priced drinks for them to taste like water (I noticed other reviews that also state their iced drinks were watered down) Since this location is new, the line was very long and the store was extremely crowded.

Freshness! The breads are super fresh and the selections are new for me as a first timer which made the visit all the more intriguing. I loved the coffee flavored bread and the red bean paste. The service is fast and friendly. The iced salted caramel coffee is mmmmmhn good. I paid a second visit and it was as good as the first. It is added to my list of places to bring my out of town guests.

ALWAYS super crowded. Im not much of a pastry person so I dont really like the bakery items. Ive tried them and theyre just okay to me, nothing special about them. I can only eat about a third of a pastry before I get tired of it. They dont cost that much, though. The only thing I liked was the egg tart. The drinks are average, always consistent but not that great.

they really needed one of these bakeries in Dallas since theyre so popular in Houston. it gets soo crowded on certain days that the line will go out the door but its pretty worth trying at least once. at least there is a second line for drinks only. I got what I think is the most popular drink, the sea salt jasmine tea, and it was pretty awesome.

By far the best bakery Ive found. Everything is fresh and not dried out like other places that sell pastries and they sit on a shelf for hours. The staff was super nice and helpful. The lines are long but thats what happens when a business is booming! If I lived across the street I would eat there all the time. Love this place!
