Ive ordered both take out and in house. Both expierences were horrible. When we ordered out I had the cheese enchiladas and they lacked flavor and the rice that came with my meal tasted more like Chinese rice instead of Mexican. The beans were plain. The second time we ate in house and for starters the service was really slow and there wasnt hardly anyone there. They forgot to bring us chips and when they did it took 15 more minutes to bring us salsa and that was after I had to ask them to bring it. When we ordered I asked our waitress if she recommended the tortilla soup and she raved it was the best. When I got it it looked like vegetable soup with avacado thrown in not chicken tortilla and it tasted like progresso soup out of a can. I didnt even eat it. I went home disappointed and hungry. And my husbands carne guisada was lacking in flavor. It was bad all around. I will not go back and I will not suggest it to anyone. I dont see how the parking lot is so pack all the time.

The food here is usually pretty good. They went up on their prices about a year ago, making them not as good a value. The thing that makes this place so bad is the service and the attitudes. Every time I go here, and I mean EVERY TIME, I am usually ignored for the first 5-10 minutes after arriving. I started just ordering to-go because Ive actually had the waitresses literally argue in front of me about who was going to have to wait on me. Ive walked in at 8:15 pm and had the waitress be openly hostile to me because they were closing in 45 minutes and she felt I was coming in too close to closing. Today, I ordered to-go for the first time in months, and of course was left sitting at their drive-thru window for 10 minutes without even one person coming to the window. Finally, the owner opens the window and asked if Id been taken care of and when I told him how long Id been waiting...he actually laughed. The man seriously doesnt know how to run a business.

Horrible service, and horrible food. I dont even know how they are still in business. I moved to San Antonio from Houston, than relocated to a house on Canyon Lake. You would think any tex mex in this area would be better than Houston, but hell no. Soda is charged by the can, margaritas dont have liquor in them. Only one other table, and it took over an hour to get my food. Never refilled our chips. At one point my waitress hears me complaining to the rest of my party, and comes by and SLAMS my plate down. Every plate came out about 5-10 minutes apart. Ordered fajita nachos, had about the meat of one small fajita, over half the chips were bare. The rest of the party got enchiladas, fajitas, and tortas, no one else had anything good to say either. They did have a now hiring sign out front. But 2 waitresses, 2 tables... not that difficult.

TAKE OUT BEWARE!!!! This is the 3rd time I have tried this restaurant for take out. 3rd time a complete failure as well. From the beginning it was a disaster...AGAIN! I called in an ordered. 1lb of fajita, 16oz beans, 16oz rice and a small chips and queso. 15 minutes later I arrived only to wait another 15 minutes for my order. After checking my order, I find there are no beans or rice. 20 MINUTES later I am brought my remaining food. $30.00+ and I get home to find there is 1tbls of pico, no salsa. The tortillas were so hard they would not bend without cracking. There are barely any beans or rice in the containers. (I measured 1 cup of each...not 16oz like I paid for). Rice was burnt. The fajita beef was so chopped up it resembled pulled pork. So tired of this over priced place. Wont go back again.

Ordered two nachos..they were the worst ever. Talk to owner who informed me that since I didnt come back immediately and since a week before they gave me the wrong order and had to replace it with right order that in the one in the wrong. Should I be responsible for there screw ups? NO!! Bottom line the more I went there the worse their food and service got. I was told that their cooks quite so now the owner is cooking..bad solution to what ever problem their having. And the last thing is I watched a couple take over 10 minutes to be greeted. Eat there at ur own risk.

Ate there for breakfast with my daughter while visiting my dads for the weekend and she got sick half way through the meal, went to take her to the bathroom so she could throw up and it was the most disgusting site Ive seen, I made her throw up on the floor, the milk she drank was spoiled, the staff was rude, and very obnoxious, ate there a second time for lunch and was even worse than breakfast, the place smelled of garbage, and the same staff was just as rude, I honestly dont know how they are still open, I will never go back or recommend anyone to eat there

This place sucks. So we go out. Which once in a blue moon. An he say lets go to Las Bracas. He orders the chicken fried steak. The waitress bless her. Says no sir, l dont suggest it. So he orders tacos, l order the shrimp an fries. The shrimp where so hard it was like chewing on rocks. So I tell the waitress an say, just give me some enchiladas. The enchiladas. Let me tell you... It had the consistency of a cheap can of soft dog food wrapped in a red corn tortilla. I went home. Few hours later, Im praying to the porcelain god. No, Thank you... Never again..

Do not ever go here. The service is horrible. There is no manager to speak to when your server completely screws up your order and the owner claims to not speak English so she doesnt have to deal with complaints about the crap service and overcooked crap food. This place went downhill fast. Stay away from this place it is a waste of time and money. Health department should shut this place down because of roaches and flies everywhere.

Food wasnt bad but the service was poor and Unfortunately was not imformed about the wineritas but I can blame myself for that. The reason I have rated this soo low is because I felt as if I were being rushed out. The waitress stood over us as she waited for me to sign and tip while we still had full drinks and i was still finishing up my plate... if I ever choose to give them my money Ill just order in.

Started coming here with my family and have been extremely happy and satisfied with the food and service. Our waitress Angie is extremely courteous and professional. Was out here visiting from San Antonio and happened upon this place. I must say, I am very impressed with the wonderful service we received. Rachel, our waitress, was very attentive, chips refilled, as well as drinks. She made some recommendations for our choice of meals and was spot on. The food was great!! We will definitely come to this restaurant when we are in the area.
