The starters and appetizers are what finally won me over at Lemongrass. You cant go wrong with the pan fried dumplings, summer rolls, plantain chips, or pizza. The bread rolls they bring out are also unique and delicious. Serving sizes tend to be on the smaller side for entrees and salads. The Siam Lime Beef Salad, with its chili lime vinaigrette, really stands out. Their vegetarian dishes - sesame cashew chicken and vegetable lasagna - are also surprisingly good. If you have a child be sure to order the mac and cheese. Its delicious, even for adults, and has edamame mixed in. Lemongrass is a sleeper pick for best kids menu in Houston. All the offerings on the kids menu are delicious, and have some healthy ingredients mixed in. The staff is always friendly, and the service is quick during non-peak hours. Many dishes can be prepared gluten free, if thats your thing.

I will admit I know the owners of the cafe quite well, and have personally toured the kitchen and its squeaky clean and the chef has very high standards when it comes to freshness. I have to agree with the other review about not liking the fresh uncooked tomato and whole chicken leg in the curry. Also, although others like it, the pad thai, and soup trio are not my favorite. However, there are many strong dishes that I like and it has nothing to do with me liking the owners. If you decide to go, youll be very happy if you stick to the kataffi wrapped shrimp, the crab egg rolls, the tuna tartar, glass noodle seafood, the organic salad, the satay wrap, pepper tuna sandwich, duck noodle soup, for dinner the trout, the seared scallops, Siam salad, the roast duck, tuna steak, white chocolate pudding, and ginger creme brûlée.

My wife and I had take out from the Lemongrass tonight. It was our third trip there in the last 6-8 months. Tonight we had pan-fried dumplings, summer rolls and the Siam Lime Beef Salad and Gorgonzola Salad. The Siam Lime Beef Salad was excellent; crispy lettuce, a spicy and interesting dressing. My wife was somewhat disappointed with the Gorgonzola Salad - thought the lettuce was limp and did not like the candied nuts. The pan fried dumplings were good; the summer rolls were excellent. The portion size is right - not too much and not too little. A high quality menu. We will visit again and again.

One small roll per person. An additional roll charge when asked for 2 more. Imprinted and unannounced until check was delivered. Very popt service, cant even get a lemon or lime got the water. When asked about a certain desert, the waitress showed me an eaten desert with dirty dish and spoon ,and asked if that was the one I was talking about. I actually demanded to speak with owner, she gave a very lame , Im sorry!!! After being a regular customer, that was the best they could do.

Wonderful food!! I had the chicken milanese. It was tener and moist, with a delicious Panko beading. Not a heavy breading, though. Light and healthy with a fantastically fresh organic side salad. The lemon dressing was so good, I had to ask how to make it so I can replicate it at home. Im definitaly coming back!!!

Recently moved out of Houston, was back visiting and this place made me wish I still lived here. Awesome food, kind, attentive service, and relaxing atmosphere. Best wine selection Ive seen at a Thai place and several options for gluten-free eaters. Highly recommend.

The service here is always great! I go there often and they always greet me like an old friend. The food is really good, too! For appetizer I suggest the dumplings or the crab firecrackers. The glassnoodle seafood salad is amazing, too! The happy hour is good, too.

This is not real deal Thai food. Who wraps a padThai in an omelette? Well apparently this place does. The waiter was wierd and was surprised when I put sriracha sauce on my pad thai. I give this place 1star. If you want bad thai food this is your place.

Sunny afternoon lunches on the patio at Lemongrass are delightful, the food is fresh and light, and their employees are knowledgeable. The parking lot on Bellaire is usually full, park behind the storefront on 6900 S. Rice Avenue, headed South.

This was my first and last time. I ordered take out chicken curry something, needless to say I was not impressed. I had a big chicken leg, big chunks of onion, uncooked cherry tomatoes, and sauce that had no flavor. Dont believe the hype!!!

A very quiet and charming restaurant! The Asian fusion food is amazing. The pad Thai is one of the most popular dishes. It comes wrapped in an egg crepe. The organic salad is scrumptious with its tangy lemon dressing. Would totally go back!
