It wasnt the greatest experience! Got seated had no menus we asked for water for three no water came we asked again after flagging down the gentleman and he brought one water so we had to flag him down again to get more water! We then heard we were getting the half TV service which is not at all what I asked for we were supposed to decide there whether we were going to get the $17 one or the $25 one. Left in the dark not knowing anything. We then asked for a menu and discovered that the half was part of the tea that we have an ordered. The next time we saw somebody a girl she was bringing our 17 dollar one ! We told her we never ordered that we told her we wanted the $25 one she took it back added some stuff and walked away we then had to call her back again to ask her what we were eating meaning we had no idea what was in the sandwiches we ate it we ate it all it was OK we could not tell what flavor the macaroons were at all and then got our bill and they charged my five-year-old grandchild $25 I think that yes Way too much money to pay for a five-year-old who didnt eat anything off the tray except a half a tuna and a few desserts. Dont think I would go again. I called on the phone to find out exactly how it worked and told her we wanted to eat off the menu and look at the teas !

Having lunch here was a thoroughly disappointing experience. First we had to wait, which was not a problem at all, but they didnt seem very busy. We were then taken to the very back of the restaurant and seated right next to the bathroom even though there were tables in the front of the restaurant which is much nicer. One person at our table was hit in the back as someone exited the bathroom, as there wasnt enough room for them to get by. The food was expensive for what they had the nerve to serve. I got a black forest ham sandwich, which was something you might find in a kids lunch pail. To make it worse they served it with cheap potato chips which were stale. Needless to say we will never go back to this place again.

This is a nice little place, and everyone is very friendly. My wife and daughter love coming to places like this. The prices are a bit on the high side, though that might be expected from a tea room. The light afternoon tea, which comes with a pot of tea and some finger sandwiches, seemed overpriced at about $17. The grilled chicken sandwich, at about $11, was more reasonable. The sandwich would have been great if the chicken had not been so tough. Overall, it was a fairly disappointing experience.

Excellent local restaurant. I came with my wife one afternoon to try some tea and scones. The only justice I can give these scones is to tell people and go try them for themselves. Theres no point in describing how delicious they are if you dont go. If youre a Houston local, a 2-star Michelin rating describes it best, "excellent cooking that is worth a detour." My favorite tea there is the old town spice tea.

My daughter and I had a wonderful afternoon today at The Tea Kettle Cafe. The Cafe was very busy with several parties, but, they were gracious enough to seat us. The food was delicious and the house tea excellent. I recommend The Tea Kettle Cafe if you are ever in Spring, Texas. I give it two thumbs up and a 10+++.

Very expensive for what little food we got. Lost our reservation for the bridal luncheon. Did accommodate us however, the general public was seated in our room. Charged extra for linens on the table.

The food was not up to standard. And they still do not have proper milk. The 5 of us did not enjoy it at all.
