This place reminds me of my last trip to Mexico! Great homemade food, cheap prices, good service! Although the food isnt amazing, its WAY better than Mexican Inn, Taco Bueno, etc. Its all homemade; all the way down to the horchata. We got the enchiladas and a giant burrito meal and both were OUTSTANDING! The service is great. They dont speak much English, and the TVs are tuned to Telemundo, but thats cool with us... because I guess it makes the place feel more "genuine." Either way, this place gets an A+ from me overall, and one star deducted because its not the cleanest place in the world.

We came in based on the reviews. We were quite disappointed. We ordered 4 different tacos and some nachos. It was all very mediocre. Pretty bland. Not sure if they had any sauces or salsas but none were at the bar. Nothing tasted or seemed authentic by any means. The tacos werent good(I almost gagged on the chicharrones taco) and the nachos were covered in canned cheese. The chips were even stale! Been to many, many Mexican and texmex places and this was at the bottom. The girl was nice, thats about it.

The first tipoff is the Name " El Paisa " definitely a Colombian name. We ordered the Fajita Quesadillas that had no cheese in them "" WTF "" why do you call it "Quesadilla" if theres no Queso!?. My wife ordered the Lunch plate with fajita meat - meat was dry, rice and beans were bland and everything came out lukewarm. The place isnt terrible but for the same price I couldve gone to Rosas Cafe, ordered the same items and had a much better experience. I guess thats what well do next time.

So today me and my family decided to try this Mexican culture food for the 2nd time. I thought it was great the first. But today their cooking was very inconsistent. The sauce on the enchiladas was too thick. Even on the tomatillo enchilladas. I also ordered a torta de Jamon and they gave me milanesa. I was very displeased on finding this when I got home. They could easily get a 4 star or plus. They just need to stay consistent with their cooking.

A young female tried to rip me off that worked there. Over charged me and asked what is that? She called me a gringo and told me to shut up. I was scared and could not believe the recisim projected to me because of being white. So dissatisfied and disappointed from being a loyal customer to this establishment. Do not go, what a racist restaurant!!!!!!!!

I come here at least once a week ... and they never disappoint me . Today there power was cutting in and out. And they were on it taking our orders with no hesitation the food was good and they are awesome people .. thank you for always having good service I appreciate that .

Eaten here many times Really authentic Mexican cantina food. This is NOT Texmex. Always fresh and good quality. Portions are large and filling - if you leave hungry its your own fault. Staff are always friendly and you feel welcome when you visit

The tacos are really good, the pupusas are excellent. The huevo con chorizo is my favorite for breakfast on-the-go. Aguas frescas are delicious. Im glad to have El Paisa near home, cause when I dont feel like cooking dinner, I go there to dine-in.

Finally stopped in to this local establishment after passing by countless times. Average food taste, friendly service. Theyll make kids items off menu for you if you ask. Price wise, it was quite a bit more than I expected.

Im sorry, cant claim to be authentic with store bought tortillas. If they are homemade you need to get a new home to make them in, they are similar to Taco bell paper tortillas.

Taco plate great portions. Bistec is most flavorful. Green salsas are well balanced for anything on the menu. Caldo de rez is hearty. Restaurant is clean. Service is great.
