This review is strictly for the service or lack there of we had today, not the food. My family has been coming here for over a decade and today we had the worst waiter ever. Forgot our drinks, then still forgot my beer after reminding him about our drinks, appetizer didnt come until after our dinner, forgot our sons entree entirely but we were feeding him of our plates, the waiter said it was the managers fault for taking off his food by mistake, no appololgy, said he doesnt make the food so it wasnt his fault, never said thank you, and to top it all off I asked for a manager and waited 5 minutes. No manager came so you get this one star review in place of a local complaint. The food was excellent what we actually received. Too bad the terrible service led to this because I wanted to resolve in person.

I ordered a sushi combo for a pick-up. When I got back to my office, Ive found some roll wrapped in cheese instead. Mistakes happen and I can live with them. One star is for nobody making an apology for their mistake. I made two trips (one to pick up and the other to return it). Not worth the trouble. Stay away. Update: when I returned the item, the manager came over and he was very apologetic. It was probably just one bad waiter I had. The manager actually care about his customers. Im raising the stars from one to four. I hope the waiters will match the managers level of dedication and sense of hospitality someday. Then itll be five stars.

I hate to have to do this because all of my other experiences have been at the nederland location which have been 5 star all day this one was very disappointing,we were seated at the hibachi like we wanted the cook ,cooked all my seafood first before even starting the vegetables or rice since my food was on my plate for 10 min before the rest was done it was cold who wants to eat cold scallops and lobster the waitress was awsome ,we didnt eat our food though and the manager well you know how that goes but anyway dont go to Beaumont toyko on the I10 feeder go to nederland well worth the 15 min drive

Fantastic food, although a somewhat "disinterested" wait staff. The wife and I are regulars since moving to Beaumont, and almost every time the wait staff seems to have their head somewhere in the clouds. Regardless, the quality of food far outweighs this oddity, and if you have yet to experience excellent sushi then Tokyo on I-10 deserves your visit. The wife swears by the Smoked Salmon Sashimi, whereas Im a plain jane Salmon Sushi freak. Give it a shot today.

Incredible food! For the negative reviews, the dressing is a Ginger dressing, quite common in Japanese restaurants, and I am guessing the one star reviews have never seen sushi before, based on their comments. The Dax sauce was created by one of their chefs, Dax. It is wildly unhealthy, but incredibly good with nearly everything. Lunch is significantly lower cost than dinner, but Tokyos is always worth it. Kids love the Hibachi entertainment the chefs put on.

Had group lunch there today. Food was alright. Be aware high sodium content in grill prepared items. Fried rice made with salt and soy sauce. Grill chef is entertaining for sure. Habachi fish on grill was rather dry, but calamari was nicely done. Fresh veggie were good. Onion soup had one piece of onion, thin broth but tasty. First opened door at 11 and entry floor is dirty and waiting area floor is sticky. Service was fine.

My son and I came for lunch around noon. The waitress took our order. She was friendly and polite. Our food took a very long time to come out. The two other tables seated after us got their food before we did. I get that lunch rush is a thing. Weve always had good service here but today was an off day I guess. Food is pretty good. Service is usually polite. We just had a frustrating experience.

The staff was not friendly. Our drinks never got filled. The food had no flavor I have had way better sushi at heb. Also they charged for every sauce we got we only got 1 spicy mayo per My husband and I they charged a dollar for each. I have been to several other sushi places, Never been charged for a sauce. I will not be back.

I have eaten at this location many times. While the service back then was great, we tried going at 4:55 and the doors were still locked. Not cool, our anniversary and Im pregnant and wanted a peaceful experience at one of my favorite places. Will be going to dowlen or port Arthur from now on.

They really do not entertain you like a lot of Japanese Restaurants do but the food is good! Especially if you get there for lunch when everything is half price, even on Sunday! Two can dine for as low as $20.00 or combos for $28.00. You cant find a Japanese Restaurant for that price anywhere!

Friends took me here for my birthday last year. It was my first time at hibachi and it was great. Delicious and entertaining. It was also the first time I had sushi I liked. The Philly Roll is delicious! The only draw back is the price: Its not something we can just do every week.

WOW do you get a lot of good quality sushi for a reasonable price. If I could find a place like this in Houston, Id be a very happy man. But for now, whenever Im running down I-10 I will be visiting this place because it was worth every penny!

My family took me to Toyko s last month and everything was GREAT!!!! The food, the service, and now its all I think about. We will be returning again this weekend! If you havent tried it yet you owe it to yourself to give it a try.

Went last Saturday night. We sat at the sushi bar and ordered three rolls of sushi. Each roll was delicious and the fish tasted fresh. Service was very good, the prices were reasonable, and we will definitely return!

The food was good, but the bathrooms needed attention. There was paper all over the floor in the bathroom and hall leading to it. One of the sinks was stopped up.
