Bethany has some of the best boba tea in the area! We have been going there for several years and still love it. They changed owners a year or more ago, and although it was great before, it is even better now! As for the food, there are several tasty options, and the portions are very large. I wish that they added more protein to the noodle and rice dishes, but the flavor is great nonetheless. Our recommendations for drinks: the taro and red bean frappes are delicious, and the original milk tea cant be beaten. For food, we love the Singapore fried rice noodles and combo lo mein. The fried tofu is delicious as an appetizer, and my son loves the popcorn shrimp! The place is quite small and gets crowded easily because they are always busy, but they are super quick to make the food and you can call ahead if you want take out. It is a favorite among the UTA students. The kids from Arlington High School across the street come during their lunch break, so you might want to avoid that time of day during the school year.

I did not have a good experience. Today I was very loudly denied to buy food at this restaurant because it was for a homeless man. The person at the register (which I assume is the manager) said it was illegal for both the homeless man to ask for food outside of the store premises, and for me to buy him food. He asked me if I wanted to go to jail and that he would not permit the food "transaction" (as he called it). Last time I checked, it was not illegal for me to buy someone food. He also said that if I bought him food the homeless man would never leave, and that he needed to get a job. He immediately judged a man for being homeless, assuming he was homeless because he did not want to work. I could go on about how hypocritical it is to always play Christian music in the restaurant while denying me the act of buying food for a human being. PS. The food is good and so is the boba tea, but they have lost me as a costumer because of their ethics.

So I placed an online order for an item with which the boba tea is supposed to come for free. The guy who picked up the phone didnt even ask me anything, rather he hung up the phone before I could say anything else. Then when I went to pick up the order he said I couldnt have boba tea as I didnt say it over the phone. I said I know that it comes free with that item. But he was very rude and totally unprofessional! He just didnt care! I guess they get to behave with the customer like this because its us who give them this power and they take advantage of this! PLEASE whenever you place an order make sure you get what you want otherwise you will be surprised to see that how careless these people are! They forget that you need to treat people well, not just do business!

Ive been a loyal customer for years.. but this was the FINAL straw. I order my drinks with no ice because I hate it being watered down when the ice melts so I asked for no ice in my drink. They brought it to me with ice in it so I told the guy that I asked for no ice. He then told the girl who made my drink (in Chinese, which I understand) to stick my drink in a bigger cup of hot water to melt the ice. I waited another 8-10 minutes when finally he went and got my drink from the back all watered down and all, gave it a nice shake, and gave it back to me. I stared at him in disbelief and am NEVER going back again! The older folks, the owners I think, but the younger workers.. have no work ethic. The ice thing is a small matter but its the principle of the matter!

I absolutely love this place. The employees are so friendly and often remember my order. One day I went in and had a cough and they recommended a hot tea with lemon and basil seeds that is good for sore throats. It was so thoughtful and delicious. If I moved away, this is the one place I would miss most, in the Arlington and its surrounding areas!! It has great prices. A meal will usually last me that night and the next day for lunch. Their fried pork is delicious- sweet and savory. I have told everyone I know about it! Do not trust the one star reviews here! "DISRECOMMENDED" is a dead give away that some other competitor is angry about their lack of business and is trying to sabotage good people and good food.

Do not get their ice coffee if you are not planning to get diabetes. I was a big fan of their food and beverages when I was attending college. For the amount of food and beverages, the price was pretty reasonable. However, over the years, their beverages went down hill due to fact it is simply filled with sugar syrup. Such a disappointed. If you are planning to get a drink, please watch out for the sugar level. Also, heard owner changed last year maybe thats why they going cheapo and feeding customers with high sodium and syrupy drinks. The reason I am still giving them 2 Stars bc of the quatity. Guys, please watch out for your health. Its simply not worth it.

The taste changed drastically as they changed their owner. Taste much more salty so I guess they add more MSG. The veggies/sides that came with rice entrees seems like canned/preserved food from China that I personally dont like the taste. Also the price has gone up TWICE for every item and didnt even match the price on menu they had. Cashier isnt friendly at all. I used to be a loyal customer over the past 10 years but I have decided not to order anymore since I had three bad experience in a row this year.

We often go to this place. The food is OK, however, I once went there and ordered a tea, he had just poured it in a cup, and I said could you please give me another flavor, he straight away said "no, ive already poured it"... I didnt order any special flavor tea whose leaf is found only in the deepest pacific ocean or at the top of Mount Everest. It was a basic tea... I was totally annoyed at this customer service and decided Im never going back. This is America, you dont treat your customers like this.

The food here is delish! I love the drive noodles. I find the meal deals are also nice, if you order the meal you get a free boba tea! The boba is also quite delish and Congress in multiple flavors. Great for take out or eating inside. However, if you eat there, come at a slower time like within the hour before closing. The inside is small but there are a few tables outside. Also, they make it so easy to be self sufficient. Even to go boxes are within your reach.

The place is damn great! A perfect chinese eatery which I believe even beats Panda Express. My reviews about this place: The goods: + Great food + Awesome ambiance + Best Milk Boba tea The bads: - The staff is always angry. I hate to say this but the staff is totally opposite of the staff here. Bitter, rude, unfriendly! They do mix order sometimes and do not accept their mistake! Bethany loses 2 stars because of the staff. Please do something about your staff!
