The Mockingbird is a great escape from all the chains in the Spring Hill area. The home that the restaurant is set in allows for a wonderful atmosphere, especially if you sit on the patio in the evening. We have had different items from both their brunch and dinner menus and have yet to be dissatisfied. The staff, food, and atmosphere combine perfectly to make the Mockingbird a wonderful place to dine. You could say its downfall is a lack of items on the menu, but to me it helps keep what the do serve always on point.

Plenty of room for improvement, and please do so as your setting, location, and potential could make for the best place in Spring Hill to eat. Update 6/5/17: Went here again after waiting a bit. Huge improvement in service and food consistency. Server named Doug was very professional and knew the job well. Food was almost perfect, inexpensive for the offerings, drinks were well prepared, and as said before the service was great. Thanks for improving your restaurant. Ill be back again.

Had brunch today at the mockingbird. The food and service was great! Atmosphere was excellent, the manager, Dave was very involved and checked in on us, and it seems everyone for that matter quite often. Andrew was very attentive and checked back with us several times which complimented our server Hazel who was very attentive and offered excellent recommendations. Love this place.

I have eaten here 3 times and wont be back. The 1st time it was good; the 2nd time we had visitors from out of town and took them to this restaurant and the food was below par. However, I thought it would be worthy to try a 3rd time. Needless to say, I was disappointed. There is no consistency in the food. The ambience is nice and the wait staff gave superb service.

Nice atmosphere with beautiful exposed beam construction. Helpful and charming staff. Service and speed of food was good. Enjoyed the chefs take chicken and dumplings. Dumplings had texture yet easy to eat. Big River catfish was a bit over fried but still enjoyable. Not a big fan of the presentation with the iron skillets but thats just a preference. Will visit again.

2nd time at resturant 1st time ham steak and pork chops great food...yesterday 2nd time food was ok the ham steak fair at best we had to leave before desert because noise level was unbelievable birthday party next to us 8 20 something having a good time. Will give it one more chance very disappointed

Great little restuarant away from the busier areas of town. We had great food and service. The atmosphere is casual and friendly. Decoration is rustic farm house/ bed and breakfast style. Price was reasonable for what we ordered. Overall a very good experience.

This place was a pleasant surprise. Its a little off the beaten path but worth the trip. Our server, Emily, was awesome and helped us navigate all of the menu choices. We ended up splitting the country fried steak and it was very good. Well eat here again!

Took my wife here for Mothers Day and we had a first class experience. Good was top notch. The ambience is very cozy, being set up in an old farm house out on the countryside. It is rather expensive but not outrageous.

The food was very good, but we arrived early around 4:00 and were the first patrons to arrive. We were seated at a tiny table for two underneath the stairs, so my husband says we will never return. Shame.

Outstanding food that is well worth the price! The ribeye was cooked perfectly. The mashed potatoes are some of the best Ive ever had. Perfect place for a date or celebrating a special occasion.
