From zero to hero! Ive been here 3 times with the first two going off with out a hitch. But this last time started off irritating and ended up being an amazing time. We came with 6 people and a baby and obviously knew we had to wait. The hostess said 30 min which was fine but after 45 we were getting hungry. Red shirted pizza cook to the rescue. While we were having some beers in the "slice - to-go " section, this wonderful human being over heard our plight and decided to do something about it. Turns out we were victims of table campers which is obviously out of their control but it would have been nice for the hostess to let us know. Either way this magic man decides it would be better to just make us pizza and just sit on the slice to go side. Not only did he speed up our order but also gave us garlic knots for free!! Shortly after that another employee which we assumed was the shift mgr. Also gave us a coupon for free knots and apologized profusely. We were definitely satisfied and started having a wonderful time. Around that time my beer was empty so I went for a refill and the bar tender caught wind of the fact that we were the ones waiting for the 6 top table and she also gave me a free beer!! Needless to say we were definitely treated with the upmost respect and I cant praise this place enough for having outstanding service, great food, and an incredible beer selection.

We have loved trying several places in the 5 points area, and this place does not disappoint either. They have a great macro craft beer selection, including a couple rotating taps by local craft breweries. Be sure to get the garlic knots (see pics)! Full order is almost enough to fill up the tank for a family of four, but dont stop there, because their pizza is amazing. Just crisp enough to allow it to be easily hand-held, but still tender. They use very high quality toppings and our T-Rex was very satisfying. The huge and delicious pizza was $25, my beer (brewed just down the street) was only $6, and the (8) large garlic knots with a side of marinara was only $6. Even after parking, this is quite affordable! Parking was easy, convenient, and affordable at only $5 for 2-hours in the lot directly behind the restaurant. Theres also a gourmet homemade ice cream shop just up the street, if youre looking for some dessert after your meal.

I came here after a recommendation from someone and several people saying the garlic knots were amazing and totally worth going but....just so people know the garlic knots literally taste like every single garlic knot youve ever had so theyre not bad but I wouldnt say they were the best thing ever. Now the pizza is great and the area is really cute with lots of places to walk to but the waiter we had was very distant and didnt say much. I dont even know his name. He brought our food and stuff but when hed bring us plates and our garlic knots he wouldnt make eye contact, say a word, or even respond to a thank you so thats the only reason it was a 4-star review otherwise I would have made it a 5 star.

Good selection of beers, cool staff, great pizzas. We had a small order of garlic knots (four for like $3). They were awesome, plump and crusty, covered in olive oil and garlic shards, topped with some parm and fresh basil, and served with a tasty marinara. Then the pizza. The crust is phenomenal: chewy and thin, crisp and bubbly. Plus theyll do half-and-half of most of their pizzas. We had a half super Bianca and half of something else very good. We opted for the 14", but the thing was at least 16" across. $18 for the pie, two of us stuffed ourselves and still had half the pizza remaining as leftovers. The area is great for barhopping too.

Just moved to Nashville a couple months ago. The Husband and I did carry out pizza and garlic knots. BEST EVER! Their bread and crust is perfect. Thin and crispy but still breadish and not like a cracker. Sauce is simple and perfect, not over spiced and fancy. Toppings are top quality and so fresh the flavors are dancing on my pallet. The garlic knots are also fresh and made with real garlic. The place is small and packed with a college crowd, but its worth the wait and if you dont want to wait, get it to go. Absolutely fabulous, cannot say enough good about the food. Our new favorite pizza spot.

Ive traveled all over the country, and Ive been burned by a lot of places that claim they have "real NY pizza". Im married to a Brooklyn girl, so I know the real thing, and most restaurants that make that claim its as if theyve never even BEEN to NY. Five Points is one of the few places Ive found that has it nailed. If its genuine, you dont need any toppings, and their cheese slice is perfect. Just the right size so two for lunch is perfect, and the sauce, cheese, crust, all A-number-one. Service is great too, fast & friendly. I will be returning. Often!

I decided to try Five Points yesterday from all the positive reviews. I arrived there around 11:30 ish. Ordered my pizza for dine in and then there were no seats on the side so we went to the dining room and they told us we could not sit down because they closed in 4 minuets and shooed us out. So then we were walking on the street eating our pizza. The website states they were open to 3 but I guess that just means the window.... The pizza was expensive and could of been better. I most likely will not be returning.

Visited here last Friday with my sister and dad. Dads not into pizza at all but myself and my sister are and we were both really impressed by the pizza here! We both went for two slices each. One of my slices was the meat special of the day and the other a slice of their pepperoni. Both were fresh, tasty and came with a thin base. I washed it down with the basil infused homemade lemonade! I loved the decor here as well. If you are a pizza lover and visiting Nashville then dont miss this pizza gem!

A staple when you are in the East Nasty area! The pizza is as big as my face literally. So many different fresh, ingredient options. The long, fresh strips of basil.. Oh. My. God. Ive been there 3 times. The first time I stumbled upon it around 11:30 p.m. after walking out of a near by bar. They have a little window that you can order single slices from into the wee morning hours. Whats better than that?! Thin, slightly crispy crust and not overly sauced. Perfection.

Solid pizza by the slice joint! Loved that they had both a walk in, order, sit + order via window + actual sit down and have a waiter/tress come to you! All 3 options for any occasion. I walked in and ordered a prosciutto and basil slice which was $5 and some change. Not bad for the quality and size of this! Was really happy with the fresh ingredients and quality. Also cant beat the quickness of it as well! Solid place in 5 points where options are plentiful :)
