Wow. 2 words: ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE. I just created a yelp account just to write this horrible review. My husband and I are visiting family in Franklin and just wanted to have a quiet evening in and order pizza--to avoid the drive out...Ouch. What a freaking nightmare. I wouldnt eat at this place if they were giving the food out for free. I found them online and blindly decided to give them a try. I attempted to order online, which gave me an error message at the end and I had to call (hopefully I wont be charged for my first attempt of order). When I called, I was greeted by a character from a Cheech and Chong movie (you know the ones Im talking about) who seemed a little confused when I asked to hold one veggie and add another...not rocket science, people. He FINALLY repeated my order correctly and I thought, "Hey, if he has the munchies and works there, it must be good, right?" Um, no. An hour later Cheech arrives at the door with ranch dressing all over him and our pizza box. "Oops, sorry" he says and abruptly wiped off the box. When I opened the box after getting to the kitchen, I noticed that the veggie that I said to hold was PILED on the top of the cold limp pizza. I mean PILED deep...wtf. Cheech had already taken off, so we had to hop in the car and drive to return the pie. Only one thing went ok about the entire experience, they refunded our entire order--but not the time & gas that went into this debacle. And Im not a picky person..........

The food was good, after waiting for 1.5 hours and watching 5 other people get their food before us. We were sitting where we could hear if they had called in an order or not and so yes the 5 was just from walk ins. They actually put a friend order in front of others customers while we watched. When I asked the second time they promptly got it out of there oven but that was 45 min after I had asked the first time. Apparently the girl had not put out ticket in the que even though she said it was in the oven the first time I asked. We did get a free drink while we were there at the end but nothing else was even said other than it was a busy night, sorry and enjoy the pizza. We were gone from our house for almost 2 hours for a cheese and pineapple pizza, cheese, a slice of lasagna and a salad.. For the record... Pizza was 3.7 but the service was a negative 5.

First time I called to order a pizza I found out they close at 8p.m. on a Friday night, WTF!? I had my wife call tonight to order (about 8:30p.m. on a Saturday) and she asked first when theyd be closing, she was told they are closing now. So she didnt order. I said to myself if they answered the phone they can take my order, so I called back. I tried to order a white pizza, the were out of ricotta? So I tried there plain cheese pizza. It would have been excellent had the bottom not been blackened and burnt. Good pizza is hard to come by in the South I suppose. Im from NY/NJ and food and service is excellent everywhere 95% of the time. I will try it again only because is was so close to perfection. I also would like to try their white pie if they can manage better and keep the ricotta in stock!

I had never tried Brooklyn Brothers before today. Their $9 Groupon for a large 18" cheese pie drew me in. I stopped by after work and let them know I was there for my pizza. The guy behind the counter cracked jokes and made me feel like a welcome regular (not like some places that roll their eyes at a Groupon.) I got my pizza and drove 50 minutes home. Holy heck, even luke warm this pizza blew me away. The crust passed the fold test and was well salted. The sauce and cheese were in perfect proportion. The grease level was just enough to let you know it was an NY slice without dripping off or being too much cold. All in all I was pleasantly surprised with not only the food, but the service as well. Five stars for Brooklyn Brothers and that $9 pizza earned you a repeat customer!

I, like many of the reviewers am also from New York. I travel a lot and places like this remind me of how desperate people are to taste good pizza. The place was fairly dirty, I came in early and clearly got slices from last nights pie and classic Brooklyn move I got drinks and rang up for drinks even before I said if I wanted them or not. More importantly than all of that .... Yesterdays pizza was greasy, over cooked on the crust and undercooked in the middle. It was flat out unimpressive. Let me net it out ... In Franklin TN this place will get by with people desperate for NY pizza. In Long Island where I am from, they would be out of business in 6 months.

Incredibly bad service tonight. Tried getting in Brothers last week, but none of the four booths was available. Tonight, we placed our order and almost an HOUR later, the pizza brought to us was not completely cooked. We sent it back and told the staff we had to leave. They apologized and said it was simply a matter of being too busy with a combination of take out orders and dine-in customers (it wasnt that crowded in the restaurant). They also offered to give us the pizza free to go, but we left. Ive ordered home delivery from Brothers before and it was excellent. This was very disappointing. I doubt Ill ever order from them again.

Having grown up in Jersey and having all my family come from Brooklyn, I have been described as a pizza snob. This is true. My first visit there about 2 weeks ago was fantastic! Not only was the pizza just like back home, the meatballs were incredible! Spence was there and greeted my wife and I warmly and spoke about how he and Mike opened the store. Great food, great people (I met Mike last weekend)! Go there, you WILL NOT be disappointed!

We love this place. Eat here regularly and the people here are super friendly. Its pretty much as close as youre going to get to NY style pizza in these parts. We recently ate there and then by chance ended up trying 2 different NY pizza places in NYC the very next day so I ended up with a good comparison. This place was right up there with the true legendary NYC spots. You wont be disappointed! Also, try the lasagna, its phenomenal.

This place WAS a great place but the owners son is so full of himself and cannot make the same Pizza twice I will never come back and will make it a point to let as many people as possible know ( I meet about 400 people a week here in Franklin) that this place does not need their business and to go elsewhere. Michael the owner is still a class act. Too bad his son does not care about the business Michael built. What a shame!
