Im 64 and the first time (Month or 2 ago) I tasted a "Firehouse Sub".......OMG! Its the best tasting sub sandwich Ive had! I highly recommend a taste test of your own and I believe you will agree with my assessment BTW - There is a comrade in arms (Me - Vietnam class of 67) review here complaing about not getting a "military discount" so he knocked the business....let me say, "Soldier buck up, shut up and man up. If you are scraping for that buck-0.5 you might just want to chow at the mess!" One diner whos nom de plume is "Roll Tide" said, "Employees are rude" This is coming from a Roll Tide fan?? Rude? No ruder that a Tide fan

As someone who rarely ever ever complains and normally goes out of the way to recognize great service it pains me to write this. I frequent firehouse subs all over the place from South FL, to Southeast TN. Having just moved to the area, I went to grab a bite here. When I walked up to order I wasnt greeted and the only conversation I had with the employee was asking me if I wanted the sub fully involved, small, med, or large, and white or wheat. I seemed to almost be bothering her. Then, the sandwhich was "slopped" together which made it super soggy when I got home. The food was good, but the bread was mush.

Sandwich was basic and they got it wrong, when I took it back they got it wrong again. Though I didnt mind as it was the choice of bread this time. I simply didnt have the time to make it an issue. They offered me a cookie for the inconvenience, which amused me and I naturally declined as in my mind I wasnt seeking anything free simply a sandwich the way I ordered it. If I dont return it will simply be as a result of my not being in the area, as this location is well out of my usual shopping, and normal business venues.

Subway too low grade for you and Jersey Mikes too... deli? Firehouse is a meat-lovers sandwich paradise. They really pile on the hot, fresh meats here. There is nothing on the menu that doesnt have the capacity to impress. They have a tendency to screw up special orders half the time, but they know how to make a sandwich here.

I agree with "Roll Tide", the people that waited on me March 14 at 4:00 p.m. were very rude. No one smiled, or said "Thank you" and made as little eye contact as possible. The food is good and Ive had good service at the store before but that was with different employees.

Great hot subs, a little on the pricey side. The service is usually top notch. If you come around lunch time be prepared to wait. They take call ahead orders.
