1 Previous Review: Hide » 1.0 star rating3/2/2014 My friend and I used to go to the Corner Pub frequently about 3 yrs ago. We loved going there because it was close and all the employees loved us! One night we were at the bar and my friend went to the bathroom and when she went in there was a beer bottle on her side of the stall from the girl next to her. She was affraid she was going to knock it over so she picked it up and slid it to the other side and a nice guester. The girl in the next stall thought my friend drank from her beer and ran out and told one of her buddies that worked at the bar. The red headed bar maid with a display of her breast falling all out of her shirt told us to leave? Without even hearing her side of the story???? We left because we were ready to go anyway. Three years later we go in and sit at the bar and the same "bar maid" with the display of breast all hanging out told us in a cocky manner that we had to leave??? I asked to speak to the manager and of coarse she was the manager???? We asked to talk to the owner and was told they were not there?? When I went to the front door I asked a familiar waiter that was always so sweet to us if the owner was in and he said yes. He went and got her. She took her sweet time coming to talk to us because she got manipulated by the " bar maid" with a display of breast hanging out all over the front of her shirt ??? When talking to one of the owners I introduced myself and told her we went to the same church. She immediately said she had sided with her manager even before hearing anything we had to say. The red headed "bar maid" stood there like a bull dog ready to get us??? I explained the situation anyway and told her that the insident happened 3 years ago?? I am a christain person and so is my friend. Dont people get a chance to redeem themselves anymore? I can see asking us to leave for the night but bann us forever is really really over reacting??This "bar maid" with the display of her breast all over the place was clearly needing attention and on a power trip? My friend looks like a super model and Im pretty sure this " bar maid" is just jeolouse................. and holds a grudge longer than anyone I ever knew??? I have seen a man throw up all over the bar because he was drunk and then the owner the manager walked him out to his car and let him drive drunk????? This little "bar maid" is out for vengence with us and needs to go to customer management classes and what not to wear classes?? As for the owner lady , she needs to run her own business and not let a 20 something do it for her??? We went down to the Brew House where friends joined us and we spent well over 100.00$$$ having a really nice dinner and dessert! The food was great and the service was superb!!! We will be boycotting the Corner Pub until an apology is given. I left message with Woods for him to call us but still have not heard from him?? I will be telling all my friends too... This felt good to let someone else know. The tall owner of the Corner Pub and Mr Woods have always been so sweet to me , my friend and my kids! Its a shame you have girl like that working for you? I left msg and no call back

The service at Corner Pub my girlfriend and I experienced recently was lackluster at best. The waiter, seemed very uninterested that he was serving us. We personally asked the hostess if we could change tables due to having a poor location near the kitchen doors, and she gave us an unfriendly tone and acted as if we were severely burdening her. After she boldly stated, no, she went back to talking to this man sitting at the table next to us. We also had the luxury (sarcasm intended) of watching our waiter talk to this man sitting one table over from us (which is the same guy that the hostess was messing around with). We waited 15 minutes from the point of receiving our drinks before the waiter returned to ask us if we needed anything, thus taking our order finally even though we had been ready for appetizers since the moment we sat down! Most of his time went to talking to this man mentioned early. The hostess also mentioned earlier, spent a lot of her time talking to this man as well, and it was really a sight for sore eyes to watch them "flirt" with each other. This was by far one of the worst customer service we have ever had at a local family bar/grille and it will take a lot of time before I am ready to return to this place. I have been to many places where the service is slow, but the kindness and sympathy from the employees definitely made up for it! We will be taking our business elsewhere from now on. Even if I have to pay an extra $5-10 dollars worth of food that I can easily get at Corner Pub, I will gladly pay the difference as long as I receive good service. Thank you.

Family friendly and fast with cooking our order. Wasnt too pleased that we were lead by the hostess to 4 table options and she decided to seat us at a dirty table. She cleaned it in front of us but whatever was on the table landed on the seats and she didnt wipe those down. Weird cause the other tables were clean. We were hungry so we cleaned the seats ourselves. Coin machine didnt work so kids couldnt play games. Our food was quickly served but we were disappointed with the portions. The wraps were super small and the spicy cat fish dish was like eating nuggets. Lots of breading and hardly any fish. I guess its a good spot for just drinks, just be ready for small portions, slightly salty food and lots of batter on the catfish.

I stopped here because I generally like the other locations. However here the staff was a mess. There were for unchecked young girls at the hostess table all night (one of them busted her ass) that just sat and talked to one another. My server was no where to be found not once but 4 times and my fish was raw when it came to my table. At first I was ok with the issues as it was slammed but before I even received my first drink the crowd thinned by half. Then the issues really began to wear at me. As I sit and wait to even be acknowledged by any staff so I can pay and head out, I wish I had gone to another place. Hope your experience is better because mine sucked.

We went there thinking this was a nice little corner pub bar...... how wrong we were. When we discovered they offer food as well, we ordered a burger. The food was okay, but I really dislike how people think it is appropriate to bring their offspring in and let them run around while Mom and Dad are getting drunk. When I go out for a drink, I really dont want a bunch of kids around. They should take the pub outta their name and just say its a family restaurant.
