OK, the secret is out. When I get off of work in Nashville, this is where I go to have a drink or three on the way home. I love this place!!! The crowd is fantastic, the drinks are great, the bands are fabo. and the food is wonderful. It aint the Convention Center but it is where you can hang with the REAL people of Tennessee. I just love The Handle Bar. I suggest it to anyone who wants to hang out anonymously after work. Very closed mouthed place and they treat you right! Mandy Mason

I would LOVE to eat here because such great things have been said about this place and they serve 24 hours a day, including breakfast, but I am disabled and all the seating is at really tall stools or chairs at high tables or the bar. I am disabled and very short and saddling up to such seating isnt an option for me. I may try a take-out order sometime because I live just down the road, but Im so disappointed that I couldnt eat there when I tried. Looks like a fun place!

I used to love this place , been going on and off for 10 yrs . Unfortunately the place has changed hands to much and now most of the regular patrons have started going elsewhere . The place is way to small for live bands and the bands they book are terrible , and it is so loud you cannot even hear yourself think . They used to have djs and karaoke , people line danced ..now its lame boring and no one seems to really have fun .

Cosy bar with cheap food and neighborly atmosphere. Everybody knows everybody, and the bartenders/wait staff often call customers by name. Not a good place for tourists, or travelers interested in a quiet night, as its quiet noisy in there when lots of people are present. It is 24 hours, and it seems they serve food all day and night.

For years Ive heard how good the breakfast was. I finally tried it and was not disappointed. Ordered the biscuits and gravy, pancakes, western omelette, and bacon. All were fantastic. It is a bar though, and people smoke, so you cant bring your kids here. Staff if is very friendly and prices are good.

It has lowered some how. It feels less hometown and more franchise. Portions are smaller prices are higher and it just seems like the new owners are trying to hard to be like Applebees or whatever. $2.18 for 13 fries not the generous portions like when Mark ran it.

Friendly service as soon as I walked in. Quick to take our order and get us a drink. Good food, great draft beer. Knowledgeable about menu. Laid back place ever jus wanna relax and have a beer and a burger stop by this place.
