I really wish I could give less than one star when rating this place. Why, you ask? The staff is about as friendly as a nest of hornets after having their nest knocked down by a child. Rude and unfriendly and seemingly unaccepting of white patrons. Our waiter barely spoke to us after just a brusk acknowledgement. We sat awkwardly for long intervals awaiting refills, inquiries, and, finally, the check wich was exorbitantly overpriced. The food, while not as abysmal as the service, was just sub-par, standard, run of the mill Mexican fare. Hardly any more tasty or well prepared than a combo #4 at Taco Bell. The ceiling was adorned with infested looking water marks, the paint was peeling from the walls and the window blinds are broken, as if taken from an abandoned shack. With a wide array (including Taco Bell) of good Mexican restaurants, I recommend thinking twice before visiting this trough. *while writing this, my wife is being traumatized with exploding diarrhea.*

I would think more than twice before ever eating here. I been inside their kitchen and I can tell you.... It is extremely filthy in there. The washing machine hasnt been fixed in years and even though the dish detergent in connected to the machine... The machine washes dishes only with warm water. The kitchen is full of flies because they dispose of all the grease on the floor right out of the back door. Dont believe me? next time you visit Don Ramon do a walk around the restaurant and take a look at the back. The back is full of trash. Im still wondering why they havent been closed by the department of health but, then again... you be the judge by trying this restaurant. I visited a friend that worked there and thankfully, I went in there and looked inside before eating. I actually went there to eat but, I changed my mind after I saw what I saw.

We had the combo with a tamale, burrito & enchilada, plus chips & salsa. It was on par with other local Mexican places but didnt stand out. The meat in the enchilada didnt taste like it was seasoned, but the sauce on it was flavorful. The salsa was much chunkier than what we expected from red table salsa and I dont think they make it fresh. The restaurant is absolutely gorgeous, and was very clean. The staff were friendly and we didnt wait very long for our food. Were looking forward to going back to try their happy hour specials. They have both a covered and outdoor patio and a separate bar with its own eating area in addition to the main restaurant area.

Visited the other day with family... I just began telling other family members about how awful we were treated. Just something about the place just really did not make anyone I was with feel welcome. The food was not all that great, with how the menu described it and how it actually came out.. it was like black and white. Nothing seemed right. Smaller portions, no pico when it was guaranteed, and very pricey. All in all, a very dry experience and neither the waiter or the host would work with us. I worked for a high chained restaurant for several years and would be completely embarrassed if a customer has an experience like that.

Poor service, poor service, and POOR SERVICE ! I ordered a pina coloda and my boyfriend ordered a margarita and we asked that they both be frozen. After a LONG wait, the waitress brought 2 margaritas. When I told her I ordered a pina colada, she THEN said, "we dont have those". If they didnt have those, why did she take the order? And, they DO because Ive seen them there! Then, to best all, SHE TRIED TO CHARGE ME FOR THE MARGARITA I DIDNT DRINK! I had to wait forever for them to remove the charge from my bill! Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

Good service, quick and helpful. Food was tasty and everyone liked what they ordered. I asked for a spicier salsa and immediately got tomatillo salsa with spicy flavor. Chips are warm and salsa and chips came with the menu. Very large menu. Good American Tex Mex. Actually I liked the hard shell tacos best on my combo meal. Shells were really tasty. Cheese in chili relleno was mozzarella rather than white Mexican, which made it stringy and thicker. I liked the colorful tables and chairs made for a fun atmosphere.

Wish you could give 0 stars. Food is okay but service is absolutely horrible. I have hated the service every time Ive come hoping that the next would be better. It was worse. The server with semi long black hair is a dick. He wouldnt even give me and my little brother a second batch of chips and salsa (free), and we felt insulted as we watched him bring a second batch to some wealthier looking ladies across the room. He charged us for our waters, and I will not be returning any time soon.

To be honest, I was a little apprehensive to visit this restaurant based on the reviews of poor service. However, I had a great experience. The staff was friendly and quick with service. The food came out hot and pretty fast considering our table consisted of 5+ adults plus two kids. The prices were fair, not any higher than any other local Mexican restaurant. The atmosphere was above average with colorful walls and soft ambient music. I wouldnt hesitate to visit this location again.

Not a place I will go back to. I had a BOGO coupon from my Entertainment book. Originally the server told me they no longer honored this coupon even though it didnt expire until 12/31/2017. The meal total was $21. I showed the coupon to the cashier and he only took 3 dollars off bill stating that was the BOGO and the meals were $4.50 each instead of the $10. I attempted to explain and he would not listen and charged me for $18. The service was poor. I will not be going back here.

This was our favorite restaurant when we lived in Murfreesboro and I had the chance to eat there again last week with a group from a business trip. Excellent food, great prices and great service. Had the steak fajita and portions were huge, could not finish. Warm fresh tortilla chips before the meal and a great atmosphere. Will be eating here anytime I return to the Murfreesboro area in the future,

HORRIBLE SERVICE. I am currently sitting her. I have not seen our waiter for 20 minutes. I have been out of soda and needed a chip refill. We are the only customers in the restaurant at 8pm. I look back and he is sitting at the bar texting. I will never return.

The service was not good. They acted like they didnt care if we were there and that they actually preferred if we werent. The food wasnt much better. Theres a lot of Mexican restaurants in this town. I suggest you go elsewhere.

Dont go to this restaurant me and my friend went here and we sat for 30 minutes they never took our order we just got up and paid for our drinks and the waiter acted like it was no big deal basically the waiter didnt care

The food is good. Nothing special here, just standard fare without a lot of grease. What they have seems pretty fresh. Everytime Ive eaten here, the place is a little rough around the edges, but its worth the visit.
