My husband & I have been looking for some good, authentic mexican food since moving to the area. We saw the great reviews for this place & decided to check out the Rideout Ln location for lunch today. Hands down, it was some of the WORST service Ive ever received. I started out by ordering a diet coke, but was served a sweet tea...I know, accidents happen so no biggie. Then we ordered our lunch, I ordered the lunch combo #3...here it is straight from their menu: "SPECIAL #3 - $5.75: A bean burrito, cheese enchilada, and served with rice." I even pointed to it on the menu & asked for cheese sauce instead of enchilada sauce & agreed to the upcharge. When my plate came out it was a beef burrito! I told the lady I ordered the #3 so she took it back (I hate sending food back, but I really did not want meat). She then brought me the menu & confirmed my original order & said shed take care of it. Apparently she thought I was an idiot & brought me the EXACT same plate back with the beef burrito, even after she confirmed I ordered a bean burrito & cheese enchilada. She then proceeded to argue me that that was what I ordered. I gave up & ate the beef burrito she had brought me. We had just finished up our meal when she comes up, very proud of herself obviously, that she finally figured out my meal & had the correct meal in hand. We were done & asked for it to go. Turns out she still brought me a BEEF burrito with a bean burrito instead of the cheese enchilada I had been asking for all along. Also, my husband ordered a chicken taco salad & was also brought beef instead of chicken. We never received any apologies, instead we were just treated like idiots that didnt know what we were talking about. I suppose the food was good, I mainly picked around the beef I was given since I wasnt feeling meat, but what I did eat from my plate was pretty good. I say go to the other location in Mboro for a more enjoyable experience!

It was our first unchaperoned date and we wanted to go some where close to where we were going to for a movie afterwards....Though we are adults we look like we are 14 & 15 years old and we got treat like we were too. We were ignored by our server the whole meal. When we were ready to pay she by passed our table 5 times and we know she heard us call her but she put her nose in the air and walked to the table behind us all five times. The 2 hours we were there she came to our table one time to the 20 times to the other tables behind us. I will never recommend this restaurant to some one on a first date. The male servers that night were much better to their customer unlike our female server. I work/ed in the restaurant business and I would never treat a customer(s) so rudely no matter what they look like or what they act like. I went their to enjoy my only 1 day off, being with my boyfriend and have a nice dinner. I never got that. I will stick with Las Palmas. I have been to ever location in Nashville and Murfreesboro and have never been treated as rudely as we did at Camino Real on Rideout Lane in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. And my mom taught me to never leave a tip if I was treated badly as a customer....So, she did not get one from me....but I think I will give her one now....Get a better attitude dealing with customers because you will have all types of races, attitudes and other packages. If you cant tolerate seeing inter-racial couples than you better just stay home and raise your kids. And I know that is why you had an issue with us. We are young and we are raised to be proper people in this world. We work hard and study hard for what we have/had.

Nice atmosphere although I think they keep the lights a little too dim for reading the menus. I have to use my phone flashlight! The prices are fair and the food is typically fast and hot. However, sometimes the wait for a seat is a bit long considering the size of the staff and empty tables everywhere. While I realize they should seat first come - when there is a large party waiting for a table, they should at least greet and address the other parties waiting in line. We were one of two groups who had only 3 ppl each and we waited more than 10 minutes before someone even appeared to greet either party. We had fajitas for two during this visit and it was HUGE! Enough for 4 people! My only complaint was it was 90% chicken and the other 10% was green peppers and onions. I prefer more of a 50/50 meat to veg ratio. Of course it came with the side plate of pico de gallo, guacomole, lettuce, rice and refried beans so I could round out the chicken with a bit more vegetables. That is the first time we had fajitas there and we took a lot home. Overall, we really like the food here and will continue to use this as our go to Mexican restaurant. If it werent for the wait and lack of welcome during a not so busy hour then I would have given them 4 stars.

I live in deep South Texas, and am up here visiting friends. I ordered a beef enchilada and a tamale and found both to be disappointing. The tamale was large but mostly masa with very little flavor. The beef in the enchilada had little to no seasoning. Beans, which were whole not refried, reminded me of canned Ranch Style beans. Rice was good. Salsa and chips were good. Service was great, and portions adequate. Maybe Im just used to Tex-Mex style, but even a little extra salt and pepper would be a big improvement on taste.

Decent food, good drinks. However, the reason they received 1 star is that THEY WILL OVER CHARGE YOUR CREDIT CARD AFTER YOU LEAVE. Not by much, 50 cents here and there BUT they are stealing your money! For example, your receipt will say something like $8.20 but if youre like me and check your bank statements very closely they will have actually charged your account $8.70! You may think to yourself, "oh thats not very much" but its stealing and steal from even 100 customers a day and thats $50 you just made. BEWARE!

Great food and if you want an amazing server ask for "OZZY" the mans personable and great at what he does. Will give personal recommendations and if your thinking about something specific that may not be on the menu ( luck us and some spiiiiiiiiicy food..) he will tell you what he would recommend and if you want something else he will bring you other spicy things to compliment the meal without even asking for such!! Thanks or the experience Camino

I come here often however today was a nightmare. I placed my order and ordered the same thing like I always do and have for the past 5 years. When they brought our food to the table. I told them its not what I ordered and the waiter argued with me and told me it was. He then realized it was wrong and never apologized. VERY RUDE. Camino is going down hill and we need a new Mexican resturant bad in Murfreesboro. B
