Interesting mix of Chinese and Japanese food, set in a Hibachi style setting with a full Sushi bar, but with a variety of Chinese and a few Thai and even Korean dishes. While they do the full Hibachi show, they finish with Fortune Cookies! While the restaurant may be schizophrenic, its also got great food at very affordable prices. I had the Shashimi Platter on my first visit, and the portions were both generous and amazingly fresh for a Middle Tennessee location. On the second visit I had Hu Nan Shrimp from the Hibachi bar, and started off with the calamari, both were very good, the main course included fried rice and a salad for under $10, amazing value!

Called to ask about delivery. Delivery was confirmed. Placed order and then realized the prices didnt reflect the menu on zoomato. Called back to ask why this was. The Manager says that on our website the updated prices are there. Before I looked on zoomato their website wasnt working and I tried four or five times. While on my phone I looked up the website to see the difference. In those few seconds she kept saying Ill cancel your order. Then she rudely says Ill cancel your order for you and Im not delivering to you. As a business owner thats not the way to conduct business when your prices are wrong online when Im simply asking a question.

Great sushi, great food and my favorite thing about Oishii is the customer service. Even though Shrimp Egg Foo Young wasnt on the menu they still made it for me and it was probably the best I have ever had. They can handle small groups, big groups or it is a nice spot for a quiet romantic dinner for two. Whatever my need Oishii does it right!! So if youre on the lower end of N. Mount Juliet Rd and Lebanon road stop on in... You wont be disappointed.

The Calamari was a joke for $4.50 you get the equivalent of three onion rings. I use onion rings as a description because that is what they looked like, they were large round Os covered in onion ring batter. I wasnt impressed with the sushi either. Ordered a Philadelphia roll, there was very little salmon, if any, the two end pieces had no salmon at all. Very disappointed, we wont be going back. But there bathroom was clean!

One of my favorite restaurants around. The food is always delicious and the staff is fantastic. They remembered my wife and I on our second visit and have made a point to show their appreciation for our patronage every time we go. Its just so nice to be recognized and acknowledged as a regular. They go the extra mile and have made customers for life of us.

I love Oishi ! Everyone is very welcoming there. I feel very comfortable trying new dishes there. When my husband and I walk in the staff remembers who we are and even what we drink. I have never had one complaint and Im picky and well educated in the food industry. I am proud to give Oishi Asian restaurant a full 5 star review.

Mediocre food. Tap water tasted funny. Unfriendly staff, in fact another customer had to track down the waitress at one point. It was hot in the restaurant, they didnt seem to have the AC on and its 90+ degrees outside. Very, very limited kids menu. Bathrooms are comparable to that of a gas station. Not worth a second visit.

Friendly Staff, quality food, and clean. The only issue I have ever had is when they overcooked the MR Filet Mignon for my daughter. The owner took it right back and watched the chef cook it to perfection!!! The food literally melts in your mouth. We love this place for all of our Sushi and Hibachi!!

This is one of the best Japanese restaurants I have tried around the Nashville area. The teriyaki chicken and California rolls are wonderful! Love going here for lunch as they have a nice selection at really good prices. Also enjoy visiting Oishii because of the helpful and friendly staff.

First time there. There is a habachi section and a regular restaurant section. I had Mogoalian Beef in the restaurant section. The dish was well prepared and served promptly. The price was reasonable. Its good to find a pleasant sit down Asian restaurant.

Good food although sometimes you sit at a table for a long time while they wait on other people to show up to fill in empty seats. They will get your drink order and food order then wait up to 30 min to serve you if there are not enough guests.

I just went here and got sick! I had the chicken curry and it was watery had no taste and was not impressed! Im sick and got sick again, wont be back, dont get the chicken curry, curry is thick and spicy but not this

First time visit. The food was really great. Split sushi rolls for the table then did lunch bento boxes and everything was really good. Not too busy for a weekday lunch but still a steady stream of people coming in.
