If I could give this place a zero I would! I was so excited to go here and it did not meet any of my expectations. For starters, I had a coupon and had been wanting to try it for some time. Upon arrival, we had three different waiters ( I say that loosely because one was a 12 year old child who was beyond rude) after we were seated. I asked several questions and when we finally got ready to order, the coupon was not good for the special, which is the only entree that comes with a combination of items. The boy told me our buy one get one coupon of up to $8 value was only good for an entree. I shrugged it off and we ordered the sesame chicken sweet and sour, the asparagus chicken and then the dumplings as an app. After ten minutes or so we got the sweet and sour chicken which was breaded with sesame in it. It was okay. Was not expecting it to be dark chicken, but as I have learned from living in California, I should have asked. So I got over it. Another 15 minutes went by and then we receive our dumplings. Needless to say we were quite full after consuming these two and not receiving our other entree, so when it came 20 more minutes later we had a bite and were done. Unfortunately it did not seem this was unusual because all the tables were receiving their orders an item at a time and about 15-20 between. The food was just mediocre at best. However what pissed me off the most is the fact that when the girl took my coupon and brought our ticket back, they had taken off the app instead of the entree which was a big deal in the beginning! So I ask her politely to correct it and I was told to deal with the front counter. This woman almost got my leftover food thrown in her face she was so rude! She tried arguing with me that it was only for a certain value ($8). I agreed and said the entree was $7.50 and they were taking off the app. She tried to say something else in a louder tone , but I guess decided against it since people were working in. She literally took off $8.00 but all of a sudden I was paying $3.00 tax on $23.75 when originally it was a dollar and a quarter. I just politely gave her my card and paid because obviously she was not going to relent. I will never go back there. I have worked in several restaurants and just cant believe how horrible not only they were, but how wrong the food reviews were. All I can say to the people who enjoy it is, "get out more".

The restaurant is nasty and the service are the worst. The whole time we eat there, flies company us the whole time. The food is so so, not as good as it used to be. It has a sigh at the door order $50.00 and get a lobster for $6.99. We tried to order one, they wont let us pick a live one as we did last time. They want give us a dead, bad one from the back. We told the waiter never mind, we dont want one. He said ok. When we check out, they tried to charge us for the lobster we never have, we told them that. The waiter ran out yell at us, call us names. We have a 4 years old and 18 months old with us. That was not a good scene, we never been to a place the waiter is so nasty and rude. By the way it is the tall fat waiter. He brought us the water, then he didnt come around anymore. Every time we need something, we have to get our self, or go out way to find him. He never come around take the empty dishes. Or ask us how is everything. After we came home, we all felt a little sick from ate the food with flies around. Well never come back to that restaurant and well tell our friends not go there either.

I was a bit taken aback by some of the reviews. The restaurant is not dirty or bad smelling, and our server was plenty nice. Service is always fast, but my husband and I typically eat during slow restaurant hours. At any rate the food is really good. We always get the spare ribs appetizer, and its delicious. The menu has a lot to offer including lunch specials that are about $6 each and come with rice, egg roll, and egg drop soup. Portions are generous as well. They also have bubble tea and smoothies, but I havent tried them because Im always stuffed after eating. Its a great place, and I recommend trying it at least once.

My wife, and I like this Chinese restaurant more than any other in all of Memphis, they have 2 menus one with all your standard Chinese/American fare, then another with more "off the beaten path" options, and excellent Dim Sum as well. If you order off of the menu for Asians be mindful of the fact that many of these dishes will not be familiar to most people.

I ordered black mushroom chicken lo mein..... I asked what came in the meal. Chicken, carrots, bean sprouts, green and white onions. I asked for no white onions and waited. This meal is the worst tasting lo mein I have ever purchased. Oh, did i mention there was no carrots sprouts or green onion? I cannot believe i spent 10 bucks for a noodle plate.

Today I took hold my family come join father day, but services very slow and not good services, we wait an hours get a table when get the table we sat down no food service around my table we wait to long than we walk out the door never came back this palce again ,never and never more worst and nasty hell !

Its very traditional, so dont be shocked if your fried shrimp comes with the head still on. The dim sum is pretty awesome. Live the dumplings and Chinese broccoli. We didnt like the beef short ribs~ too fatty for our taste, but the sauce was really great. Would like to try theyre smoothies next time.

If you want to take yourself to lunch, get seated and then promptly forgotten about, then wait for-ev-er for luke-warm mediocrity dropped with a thud and no explanation, then Asian Palace is for you! I almost went to Taco Bell on my way home for some better service. Never again.

This place is so dirty and smell so bad. Staff is rude act like they dont want to work there and try to finish quick then go home ( think he was owners son or something) and their food take forever to come out. Personal advice save yourself some time and go to other places.

We never go out of here without spending $100+, best food ever! It is very traditional, but that is the best part. I would die for the chicken feet. So good, wouldnt go anywhere else, I mean I drive 2 hours to eat this food, I love it.

I can see that this used to be a very good restaurant 5 years ago. Perhaps we came on a bad day for them. We had terrible service, waited 45 minutes for our food, and were given the wrong food. I have no plans of coming back.

Place is not closed: It has very recently moved from a location on Covington Pike to Summer Ave just east of I-40 in East Memphis. I would want to order more dishes before making a full review, but we enjoyed our dinner.
