Let me say first I like The French Market Creperie food, it is fresh, authentic and good. I was there few times in last months (always during lunch time and always carry out), but last time I felt I was charged different amount, I looked at menu and price didnt changed, so I memorized what I paid. Well today I order carry out order again and price was different again, I looked at menu and it was same as last time, so I asked for receipt... Obviously I shouldnt do so... They gave me different receipt, I asked for mine and I was given different receipt again that has just printed amount and change due, but it has different items on it different total amount - completely different receipt and was told that shows what I paid and change due... I dont know if they try to cheat on sales tax, or owner, but they cheated me as well... $6.95 + sales tax is not $7.87 . Well I do not like stealing more than I like french crepes So no more french crepes for me... I dont know if owner knows about it but tax evasion is pretty bad crime, so she/he may not know what trouble his employees are getting him into, but thats not my problem. Sorry for bad review.

I enjoyed myself here. My visit was about as random as could be: in a town I had no plans of being in, on a day I shouldve been elsewhere, and at an odd, early mealtime no less. In fact, I only discovered The French Market when I got lost trying to find another, different coffee shop. (But then, isnt that how the best things happen, by total "accident"?) And Im glad for it all, because I otherwise wouldve missed out on a fine little restaurant. It had about all you could want in such a place: a chill, laid-back cafe-type atmosphere; pleasant, Parisian-themed decoration; comfortable seats (and enough of them). Whats more, the coffee I ordered was superb, and served up by a friendly, smiling barista. Ultimately, I spent a long, French-tinged lunch hour at the Market, whiling away my weird day with a good book and good food (and some good company in my fellow patrons, who were similarly disposed). Top it all off with some exquisite air-conditioning to contrast the hundred-degree weather, and Id call my lunch a success. So, thank you, everyone at The French Market, for providing for me.

Tonight was my first visit to The French Market and I adored it. The mood is set in the small but airy shop by photographs and prints of famous French landmarks, fleur-de-lis and darling chalkboard menus. The crepes are HUGE and I couldnt eat all of my "savory" Parisian Ham and Swiss. I was anxious to try a "sweet" crepe as well, so my friend and I split a Nutella, dark chocolate, and strawberry one. The dessert crepe came with a generous helping of delicious whipped creme as well, and was definitely worth taking the other in a to-go bag. I am looking forward to my next visit so I can try a chocolate croissant, imported from France, as they looked scrumptious. I would definitely recommend this charming restaurant! If you are visiting on a week night, you might want to call ahead to make sure they havent closed early. Some nights they do not stay open as late as the posted hours.

The food is delicious. I love it especially ever since ive gotten pregnant i crave their nutella & strawberry crepe alot !!!! We go there very often on the weekends. My husband love their crepe as well . I would love to give 5 star but they seriously need to update their online hours. I went there today at 9:06 pm and they told me they were close. But the online hours says they close at 10pm .. Nobody wants to waste their time driving all the way from South Side Knoxville to there just to get told "SORRY WE ARE CLOSE" when u have your phone in your hand clearly says 10:00pm for their closing time .. And The fact that employee rudely stated "WELL I DONT KNOW WHY WOULD THEY SAY 10pm ON ONLINE WE ARE CLEARLY CLOSE" . I was very disappointed. I dont think I will be coming back again.

Went for breakfast with my family this morning. I ordered the egg and cheese crepe, and you cant really go wrong with something as simple as that. When I got it, in about 30 minutes after ordering, it had a very bland taste. Crepe flavor wasnt that good. I believed it needed salt, and even after I added salt, it didnt taste any better. My brother and mom both ordered coffee which they claimed tasted like hot water with milk. Along with that, we had to claim a table even before we ordered because the place was so full. Only thing I cant complain about is the chocolate crossaint. It was warm and it tasted very fresh, perfect for a cool morning in Autumn. If you sit outside, you have a nice view of Market Square.

So...it was ok, but overpriced and not to be trusted for gluten free needs. They cant really tell the difference between their buckwheat and wheat crepes, served me the wrong crepe (I have Celiac and cant have gluten) then after I took a bite and realized they had given me the wrong thing....didnt offer to make it right really at all. They served me the right crepe, but never gave us the corrected crepe (what they gave me was my dads crepe inappropriately finished). Then when I got the correct crepe (blueberry and lemon curd) it was ALL blueberry with maybe a tablespoon of lemon curd on top. The cafe itself is very cute and the food wasnt terrible, but I certainly wont be back.

On a business trip from Montgomery, I was delighted to discover this darling establishment. The strawberries & cream crepe was sinfully delicious - the warm exterior and cool filling were a perfect complement, although it was still great eaten cold the next day. The service was also friendly and the ambiance excellent. We need one back home! (Although its probably better we dont, since weight loss is hard enough already!) But Im deducting one star because there was a strand of hair in my crepe-I just ate around it, though. Unfortunately, for the more squeamish, I know thats a deal breaker. :(

This tiny little Creperie is straight out of Paris. Upon walking in you will be knocked over with the delicious mixed aroma of sweet and savory crepes with the strong flavor of espresso permeating the air. After standing to the side and being memorized watching the crepes and omelettes be created on the hot round crepe griddle, I ordered a classic monte cristo that was to die for! My wife had a classic ham and cheese with an Orangina to wash it down and our close friend had hers with truly European espresso. This is a must try for any food-lover or romantic.

Love this place! The best crepes in Tennesee! To be fair, I havent eaten crepes anywhere else in Tennessee, but this place will be my gold standard for crepes! From savory to sweet, you wont be disappointed! Fresh, homemade ingredients in each crepe! You can even get a crepe made with buckwheat flour if you need gluten-free! I get buckwheat every time I go, and its just as tender and perfect as their regular crepe. The crepe in the picture is a buckwheat batter crepe with blueberry filling topped with lemon curd and whipped cream.
