I have ordered from this place many times now probably almost once a week or so. I have always had a pleasant professional experience up till now and after today i am very upset and will probably never order from them again due to the way I was treated today. I called around 3 wed apr 6. I tried to order the "spinach alfredo" which was listed on the websites menu. The lady taking the order did not recognize the item so i was looking for my physical copy of the menu to see if it was on there (which it wasnt) then a very rude gentlemen with a heavy accent (who was apparently the manager) took the phone from her and demanded to know my order to which i said i wanted the pasta milano, he then repeated the order back to me very quickly and it didnt sound right and then he hung up immediately . well the order got to my house and it was wrong. It was the "pasta new orleans" which has shrimp in it which im deathly allergic to. I have worked in a lot of restaurants and normally i dont complain if the order is wrong and will just take it anyways but since it was shrimp i told the delivery driver i would not be able to eat it and i was not going to pay for it. He was kind and professional. He called his manager to see what to do, the manager asked to talk to me. Before i could explain he demanded that i pay for it since he had taken the call personally, he said "you did not know what you want i gave you what you want" i tried to explain i would never in a million years order anything with shrimp. He would not listen, talking over me demanding that i pay for the order saying quote " F*** YOU I WILL CALL THE POLICE YOU ARE F***ING SH***Y CUSTOMER YOU PAY FOR THE ORDER" I have worked restaurant and service industry jobs for most of my life and buddy i gotta say dont say f*** at a customer is probably rule number one. Quickly followed by dont insult your customer... try to make them happy, quickly followed by make the extra effort for your regulars who are usually generous and have never complained before. I have never even thought dont call the cops on them because they are unhappy with their service was even eligible to be on the list of What not to do but now im adding it to my list. So i told him ok fine go call the cops i would love to speak with them and i tipped the delivery guy a little extra for his having to be party to this and because i felt sorry for him that this a**hole is his boss. Well the cops havent showed up yet i doubt they will but here is where it gets kinda creepy. The manager called my personal phone with his personal phone to tell me now you have my personal number to which i responded "I dont need it" and hung up. so i feel a little threatened personally idk what kinda bad day this guy is having but i wasnt being irate or confrontational in the slightest with this guy at all. I didnt ask for anything free or compensation just simply i wont pay for that cause i cant it sorry" and now he is threatening me? If anyone at Tazza is reading this i hope you realize you just lost a regular over this, that guy is not fit to be doing customer service and no one should be treated that way.

I will NEVER and highly suggest you all NEVER patronize this establishment! My experience was HORRIBLE from beginning to end! I have never in my life be treated so atrociously and with such disrespect and lack care as I have today. To start, my mom wanted to surprise me with lunch and ordered me food from Tazza. She gave detailed instructions to have the food delivered to my job 5 minutes before my lunch time and gave them my name. The food was delivered far too early. 40 to 45 minutes early. They didnt give the receptionist my name so, when it was announced no one in the building knew who it was for. I called and talked to a worker there and he was nice and offered to have it delivered again immediately. I even gave him my number to call me when they food arrived and he promised to do so. That didnt happen. After 30 minutes of waiting while actually on my lunch break I called and talked to a manager named Abdel. He was rude and dismissive from the start. He placed ALL blame on me and refused to accept any fault. I asked for a refund later in the day as I had waited and was still waiting and knew that I wouldnt have time to eat due to my hour coming to a close soon. Once again he refused to accept any fault and told me he had recooked and resent the order, it wasnt his fault, he wouldnt fix the order again, he wasnt going to refund the money, and there was nothing he could do for me and then hung up on me. I waited 5 more minutes, called backed as I had yet to hear from the delivery person and I had been waiting 30+ minutes since my first call. He called me a liar in so many words and told me I had just spoke to him 2 minutes ago, not 30. He then said his delivery person had texted me rather than called as I had previously given them my personal number to call me. He then screams at me to call them back. I finally saw the messages and called back only to be told she was still en route. She finally arrives and I get my food with 4 minutes left to get my food, sign the receipt, and get back in the building to clock in from my lunch break. I still have yet to take a bite of the food due to using my whole lunch break waiting for the order to arrive. Im ONLY giving them a star because I have to in order to post this review. I wouldnt wish today lack of respect, concern, and most importantly customer service on my worst enemy!

Date: January 24, 2016 @ 12pm I wouldve gave them 5 stars but the manager has poor customer service. He alway rushes you when you place a order.(WHAT ELSE)????- HIS EXACT WORDS (Very annoying)!!!! Therefore they need to make their menu where people can read it, instead of being in small print. But anywho; We have been ordering from them since the end of December & liked the food very much. But we called today about a couple of orders that were over cooked, fries being cold & the ice cream being melted! And the manager gone tell "Us calling today about yesterdays order, theres nothing we could do about it!" They have been closing early due to the ice & snow. That was the people being saying since friday night. Matter of fact; they closed at 8pm on friday because i called to see how much longer it wohld be before i recieve my order!!!! I was not pleased with what manager said.... So i called him back & gave him a piece of my mind... He literally called me a liar when i told him that they have been closing earlier due to the weather & old him thats what they have been telling us when we called on friday & saturday night. I let him know that we spend like $30-$40.00 everytime we order & nobody wants to eat cold, over cooked food! Nor does anybody want to pay for melted ice cream when they order a hot fudge brownie. Yes i cursed him out & he hung up in my face. So i called him back again & cursed him out again. Im sure hes use to it & dont care about his customers. Yes i know that was wrong but playing with customers money is wrong to!!! We will never order from TAZZA CAFE ever again!!!! Well keep our dollars in our own community. (Madison, Tn) I am changing my 2 & giving them 1 star & honestly; they dont deserve that! I just believe in getting what you pay for! Customer service skills can goa mighty long way but being rude & nasty will only push customers away!!!! Hell even WINGSTOP replace they custormers order when customers call about their order being messed up! Smh
