On two different occasions I called in a to go order and let the employee know that I was driving 20 minutes away from the establishment , when I arrived on two different occasions after pre ordering they had sold part of what I ordered to someone else! And Yes I made sure that they had all off my order before I left my house! In all honesty there food is very very good! And they are friendly and helpful, but now days as dangerous is it is to drive they should take there to go orders more seriously! God bless!

The BBQ is excellent! I am from Texas so I know good BBQ. The brisket was flavorful and moist. The chicken was very tasty. The corn bread, is out of this world! The pulled pork also very good. The corn pudding is kind of a creamed corn but way better and likewise excellent. If I am back this way again this place will be on my list to not miss. If you are on your way to Nashville or Memphis, do yourself a favor and go to Dickson and go to Back Alley BBQ.

So far, the best BBQ I have had since moving here ten months ago. So good, you can eat it without putting any sauce on it at all. The meat is excellent just as is. Sides are delicious as well. Limited menu, but what they serve, they do well. Easy to get in and out, has takeout, and big roomy area to eat at picnic tables inside and a room that opens outside, too. Very casual, great sweet tea.

Excellent food! Everything from ribs, pulled pork to sides are delicious! I know... some of you are wondering about the corn pudding. If youve never tasted or even heard of it, youre will be amazed. Those already familiar with corn pudding already know! The staff members are great. Service is excellent!

Friendly service, very clean and the food, OH MY GOODNESS!!! They take their time smoking the meat. Nice smoke ring on the ribs and pulled pork means that you have entered FLAVOR TOWN. The sides and bread are equally good. Worth the side trip off of I-40.

Pulled pork taco bliss...only thing that would make it better is, well I guess nothing. Keep up the good work, I love your pork. Would have given 5 stars but no beer, that would be the cherry on top. Get beer, get 5 stars......your move back alley.

Back Alley has, by far, the best BBQ chicken and ribs. No one comes close to the wonderful taste. All of the sides are excellent, especially the corn pudding and green beans. If you go on Wednesday, try the spencer.
