Fed 4 people for less than 25 dollars!! But more importantly, the owner and staff create a welcoming small town diner experience that is top notch. If you are into military history, there are allot of interesting pictures and people who are regulars with stories of such. Decently clean restrooms. Only complaint, the booth tables are a bit small. I will stop here anytime i come through the area, i just wish it was closer to my home. Thank you family ties for serving this community. Also, the food seems fresh and they give to go drinks if requested.

The food, service and atmosphere was absolutely great. If you like restaurants that offer true home style cooking and the warmth of a small town...this is the place to go. When you first walk in the door you are greeted like a friend. They offer good home cooking and Home made desserts that are to die for! The decor is mostly dedicated to our service men and women and the locals that have served. As you sit and look around you can tell it is s favorite of the locals as well. Good food for the heart and soul...a real hidden treasure.

The food is good here. Atmosphere is diner/casual. Portions are good-sized and not expensive. The hambugers and meatloaf are both good for lunch. One nice thing about this place is that the owner is a veteran and has a list on the wall of many other area veterans, when they served and where they served. Its pretty interesting to read all the names, places and dates. We have eaten there many times and have always found the staff to be very friendly....quick with drink refills etc.

We had breakfast here on a Saturday morning. The place was about 90% full when we arrived and stayed mostly full the entire time. The staff was friendly, service was good, and they kept up with the coffee refills (very important to us). Our server was Rhonda. Mike had eggs, potatoes, and biscuits with gravy. I had just biscuits. The food was tasty and there was a lot of it. We will be back.

The Food Is Great The Ladys Are Very Nice They Treat Us Like Family We Only Eat There Once In A While And The Lady Remembered Our Son Only Eats Biscuits and Gravy I Recommend Anyone Who Likes Home Cooked Meals And Friendly Peoples Try It Out The Food Comes Out Real Fast Too Its Not Some Chain Restaurant Its Really Just A Great Place With Great People And Great Meals And There Cheap !!

My husband and I are driving across country from California to Virginia and decided to stop at local places to eat instead of the typical fast food restaurants. This place is very nice and friendly. Great service and great food. Plus they support our military. Highly recommend stopping!
