We were passing through Carrollton and happened upon this small local place. Dont be put off by the fact that it is attached to a gas station... what it lacks in curb appeal it more than makes up for in delicious home cooking at very reasonable prices! I had a hand made sausage patty, egg and cheese on a home made biscuit sandwich, and cheesy hash browns that were PERFECT! My wife had the special mexican omelette (dont know if this is there every day, as it was on a chalkboard and not on the menu), and she loved that too. We left with empty plates, full stomachs, and big smiles to start our day. Ill definitely be going back if Im ever in the area. If you are in Carrollton and looking for breakfast, forget the cookie-cutter franchise places. Do yourself a favor and go eat breakfast prepared like your granny used to make (or like you wish she did!)

I LOVE the food here! I was really skeptical about this restaurant when I ate here for the first time. It is attached to a Chevron gas station. I was with others, so went along with the dining choice. I am so glad that I did! Ive eaten here over 6 times now and now I am finally leaving a review. Why do I love this restaurant? • FRESH ingredients • DELICIOUSLY prepared (home made from scratch!) • Very FRIENDLY and ATTENTIVE wait staff The prices are really great too! I eat here EVERY TIME that I am in Carrollton. Great Diner! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I have been going to MSD for as long as I remember. My dad has been going so long he calls it by its original name, Pollards. They have thever best biscuit you will ever have in your life. I swear by it. Anything you order will be amazing. And I think the fact that it us attached to a gas station is great. It makes it more if a hole in the wall and it makes it easier for me to keep its location a secret cause only certain people deserve to enjoy their food. Especially those biscuits.

This is a small, hometown style diner where everyone seems to know everyone else. The food is good, but there is not a large variety. We have gone on and off over the years, and cant help noticing the once reasonable price has been raised several times. For what they charge now for limited fare, we generally choose to eat elsewhere. Friendly folks, good health scores.

Great breakfast biscuit sandwiches! They never get my order wrong at the drive-thru window. The ingredients are okay... Not always the most gourmet. However, their buttermilk biscuits are among the best biscuits served in this town.
