The ice cream here is good and especially with the waffle cones. It is definitely filling, so make sure you leave some room in your tummy for this treat. The prices are a little higher than other ice cream places in town, but being by the historic train depot is worth it. Also like that the fact that they had gotten the traditional "Cream City" ice cream lit sign working again. Thanks Cream City for bringing a traditional town favorite back to life again. I have some friends of the family who went to TTU back in the 60s and enjoyed going to Cream City back then.

Cream City rocks! Situated in the historic downtown section of Cookeville, Cream City is a great spot for dessert if youre browsing the area after dinner at Crawdaddys, World Foods, Taiko, or others nearby. They are always updating their flavor selection, but you can be sure to find things with caramel, chocolate, vanilla, nuts, or peanut butter anytime you go in. The interior is casual and clean, and if it happens to be crowded, ask about the party room for extra seating or try sitting outside on Engine 501.

I love Cream City! I live in Nashville and stop here every time I am passing through. The selection of treats is amazing which makes it hard to decide what to get sometimes. Luckily the friendly staff is great about offering a recommendations. The historic setting adds so much charm to this delightful place. I recommend that everyone passing through or if you live near go to Cream City. It is a delicious establishment with something for everyone.

The lighted Cream City sign is a Cookeville icon and its great to have a cozy shop right under this landmark. The ice cream is spectacular. The staff/owners are friendly and wonderful. Ive never had an awesome coffee there, but it could be Im far too particular. However, the atmosphere and the ice cream are what its all about. And you can mosey across the street to enjoy your ice cream and explore the ever-present train at the depot.

FANTASTIC!! My family & I stumbled on this place last weekend. Great service & absolutely the best caramel milkshakes Ive ever had. My niece (2 yo) said it was her favorite place ever! Oh yeah they have the REAL Superman ice cream. Just like when my sister & I were little. I love this place. No more 31 flavors or marble slab for us! A gem in the old part of Cookeville. A MUST try!

Great service and wonderful atmosphere! Personally, I prefer the little “mom & pop” style restaurants and ice cream parlors to the modern fast food chains; and Cream City is certainly worth the visit if youre ever in the Cookeville, TN, area.

Cant say it was a top notch experience, Black berry ice cream I had ended lacked flavour and had some mistery cookie crumbs in it. The Latté we ordered was mainly milk and lacked the coffee flavour, very watered down.
