My husband and I had the divine pleasure to eat at River Terrace on our Anniversary. The atmosphere was so peaceful and elegant over looking the river. We enjoyed watching an array of colorful birds! The food was divine. Our appetizer had crawl fish and shrimp in the most delectable sauce. The salad was made fresh and it was so tasty. The sorbet was exquisite. For our meals, I had Talapia. It was scrumptious. My husband had mouthwatering fish fillets. Our youngest had succulent chicken and their tea is the best. Last but not least, desserts were heavenly and scrumptious. My husband and I had New York Cheescake and our youngest had Key Lime Pie. The young lady; Lauren, was our waitress and her service was impeccable! I highly recommend River Terrace. This is the top of line food from Louisiana! The manager was a pleasure to meet also.

Words cannot describe how incredible the fine dining experience at River Terrace is! If you are looking for exceptional quality and detail, River Terrace comes out on top. The chef prepares incredible dishes with beautiful presentation. The service is impeccable as well. I really could go on and on about how much I love the overall experience and quality River Terrace. This is by far my favorite restaurant in all of Tennessee. You will not be disappointed! Also, I just adore the "Literary Fare" on the first Tuesday of each month at 6:30pm. Everyone is welcome to join! We each bring a book (or two) to share and swap with others. It is one of the highlights of my month! Thank you Elizabeth and Chef Randy for all you do!!

The food is eh, ok. The portions are small, small, small. The place is a claustrophobic. The prices are high. The owner repeatedly interrupted our conversations to tell us off color jokes, stories about his life in Vegas and brags about his cooking. We did not come for the floor show. The wait staff hard sells the sauces which are awful on steak. The salad was not much better than McDonalds and could be served in a contact lens. I personally would not go back but business dinners require it.

Spectacular food! We ended up staying the night at a hotel in Columbia and went here instead of somewhere near the hotel and we couldnt have been happier! The Soft Shell Crab Royale was spectacular and so was the service. The meal came with a lot of food so we split it between the two of us and it was more than enough. The Raspberry and Mascarpone Tart was a perfect ending to our dinner. I had a couple of drinks with dinner and even after all of that food it was still under $50!! Amazing!!!

Loved this place! Just went there for the first time after a coworker pressed me to try it. We got so much food! The prices were what is to be expected of seafood. The ambiance and food were great, we even got the creme brulee cheesecake for dessert (highly recommend!). We had fun watching turtles swim by in the river while we were eating. Our waiter was entertaining and very professional. Its probably one of the fanciest restaurants Ive ever been to.

We reserved the main dining room the day after Thanksgiving for12 people. The waiters were professional, the food delicious and well prepared, with generous portions. Our entire party out of town party was pleasantly surprised. The Chilean sea bass got rave reviews, as did everything. The prices are good and the portions large. The food is excellent and the portions are large. We always have leftovers. The waitstaff is very professional and eager to assist with choices and suggestions. The owners take pride in doing everything the best possible. Its a shame that some people do not know how to act in a fine dining establishment.

This is the best place to eat in Columbia! The food is excellent and portions are large and filling. I personally love the Lobster Ravioli and the house dressing for the salad. The wait staff is superb! Its a great place to go for a special occasion or dinner with clients or out of town guests!

Great staff and great food. I had the Catfish Royale and it was some of the best I have ever eaten. Four of us ate there for a business dinner and everyone was pleased with the dining experience. I will definitely return.

Worth the drive, if you are anywhere near Columbia, TN. We have eaten there twice while traveling through the area and we will be back. Good New Orleans flavor and menu choices. The sauces make the meals.
