I was in Pie Sensations for the first time about a month ago. Being new to the area we had heard of this place and decided to stop in for a slice of pie. Upon entering I was charmed with the design and decor of the shop (reminded me of the movie Mary Poppins), but that is where the charm began and ended. When we approached the counter a middle aged woman yelled from the back if she could help us, she reluctantly left the kitchen to help us and we could tell she was none too pleased to have customers. We asked for a menu and she pointed to a sign, then informed us that "we dont have anything in stock right now. Ask and Ill let you know if we have it." Well...there are about 100 different pies. It would have been nice to be informed of what you do and dont have before I rattle off 100 different pies! Besides, if youre busy making pie and have nothing, then WHY are you open to the public for service?! We settled on the first pie she said they had, we couldnt even make a choice with the info she gave us (which was nothing). When the pie was ready she stood at the counter and said, "here you go" and left it there. We got up to get it ourselves and there were no forks. When asked about the fork and a napkin she pointed from behind a window in the kitchen. At more than $5 a slice, the least you could do is inform me where to get a fork, lady. Over all the pie was very mediocre. I didnt finish it, took the rest home and later threw it away. I could have made the pie myself in 10 minutes at home, so not worth the money. I was very put out by the customer service. At the end of the day, if youre that put off by customers then you should not be in business at all. And if you have no inventory to sell, then close your doors until you do. This shop is either owned or run by very business incompetent people. I had hopes to use this shop for holidays and such, but Ill never go back. The treatment alone, regardless of the pie, is enough to keep me away. Scathing review? Yes. Did Pie Sensations deserve it? Absolutely.

Update 1 year later- as delicious as ever! I love that they have cupcakes, cookies, caramels and fudge- lots of little sweets to eat when you stop in to grab a pie or cake for your family gathering. Atmosphere is clean and cozy. Sweet employees and beautiful decor. They partner with lots of area artists, businesses and organizations as well. This place is definitely a community staple! Original Review: Loooove this cute little pie shop! Family owned and operated, they make a huuuge assortment of pies and sweets- all of them delicious. My personal favorite is the Dutch Apple pie, with Banana Cream Pie a close second. They also have homemade seasonal items- whoopie pies, toffee, caramels, and fried pies. Make it a point to visit this gem the next time youre in the area! You wont regret it!

Turtle pie? Whats not to love?? Great place to grab dessert. Seating inside and out in small patio area. Pies and desserts are delicious and some local Columbia restaurants are starting to carry there pies for their own desserts cuz they are deeelicious! Flavors change daily and tgey sell whole or by the slice. You can also order your favorite desserts for pick up on your special dinner or occcassion. Lots of varieties to choose from.

It a lovely place to be at, especially if you like the cokor PINK! The chocolate cream and the strawberry rhubarb are my favorite! It is a small, local business. Which means, its not fully stocked with every flavor every day. Be sure to call ahead and reserve what you want, otherwise it may be out of stock or already sold when your arrive.

I have been looking for the old fashion coconut cake and I found it. This was the first to go at my gathering. Then the pies( chess, chocolate chess. The key lime pie melting in your mouth. I found myself continuing giving out the name of your establishment name and number. Thanks for making our Pre Super Bowl 50 a success. S.Vaughn

Damn fine pie! We love this place, and will be picking up a pie to take back home to Portland, Oregon! Lovely service, nothing but friendly faces, and wonderful southern hospitality. There is an outdoor courtyard to sit and enjoy your pie if you wish. There is lots of indoor seating as well.

Tried the overpriced caramel & key lime pies. Both had bland flavors that were not sweet at all. OCharleys caramel puts this to shame. The key lime had no punch of the tart flavor its known for, instead having almost a spiced pumpkin taste. Disappointed. Wont go back. : (
