I really want to like this place--it is vegan in a wasteland of awful food. However, we came in just before 8 pm after noticing they are open until 9 a few times per week. The wait staff was very friendly, but distracted. She did not bring soup or salad until we were well into our main course. We were gracious even though we were the only table. While I was at the dessert area, the wait staff dumped my coffee. While I tried to get her attention, she scurried off to the kitchen with the whole pot. When I asked for my coffee back, she offered me water. The restaurant lost a dessert sale, because I obviously was not going to choke down pastry with no coffee. I was very nice about the coffee (learned helplessness from living here for over 20 years), we were offered no discount, nothing after all those fiascoes. I am now at a ludicrous chain buying a cup of coffee in a paper cup. Pretty degrading. No one in this establishment seems to want to work too hard. I suggest the management take advantage of the vast pool of unemployed people in the area. And, for the record, my husband left a tip. We left by 8:30, so I hope the wait staff enjoys her personal time and soon has more of it.

Really disappointed after reading the reviews. I ordered a taco salad with chips on the side. Pretty simple order. When it came out (20min later), it looked pleasing to the eye, but it was covered in chips, minimum beef and lettuce. When I tried to eat the salad it was just layers of chips. I couldnt even taste anything but salt. Ive never returned an order before but just eating chips was not appetizing. I paid for it, which if it was better customer service they would have offered something else be made but did not. I wont be going back.

A very nice staff saves this restaurant from getting a lower rating. The place advertises crepes, but they had none when we arrived in the morning of October 22. The food was completely under-seasoned and waffles were very dry. Syrup was watered down. The last disappointment was that they advertise themselves as having a bakery. When I asked if I could purchase a pie, I was told they had none to sell. Obviously, they had none in stock. Very disappointing experience!

Service was slow. My mom asked for decaf coffee. Had to ask server for a spoon and straw on her way back. Had to go to counter and ask for cream. Food was brought out. Had to ask for utensils. Went to pay. Had to wait for our server to ring us up. The server that was at counter couldnt ring us up. Had to ask twice for a container for our leftovers. They also quit making one of my favorite sandwiches.

DELICIOUS! What a cool place. The food is absolutely amazing, and they have great options for vegans and omnivores alike. I would definitely recommend for anyone. Ive never tasted anything like their food, to be honest. The service is quick and friendly, the place itself is very clean and has a beautiful decor. (Pictured: vegan pub sandwich with avocado)

Not family-friendly, but the food was all right. They advertise inside Fireflies (a childrens indoor play area) next door; however, they dont offer crayons/coloring paper, a booster seat, or any kind of childrens menu. They were able to offer a grilled cheese for $6. I would not take children there.

They have a good variety and gluten free breads and choices. They were able to substitute a coconut wrap for my sandwich bread. Very good food. Very knowledgeable and friendly wait staff. They also have a full bakery with wonderful items. So happy to see this restaurant in Chesterton!

The cucumber and tomato salad with the chicken salad on the croissant was really tasty. My husband really loved the large Italian beef sandwich. The service was great! It was wonderful enjoying the bakery smells as well which is right there!

I love this place! Its soooo amazing! Everything is fresh and organic, it taste like nothing youve ever had before! If youre in the area i highly suggest trying this place out, the people are great, and the food is just as awesome!

Actually ate their food at next door fun center that they provide. Not saying this is a five star restaurant $$$$$ but for what it is I had good food at a good price. We will try the restaurant soon. I believe we will be pleased.
