First, we had a tasting with a few different places and Unique Cakes baked us 4 whole cakes to take home. The rest just gave us tiny samples. They were really responsive whenever I called them. I had to leave a message or two and didnt expect them to get back to me until the next day but they called back as soon as they had a moment to do so. My fiancé was supposed to be in charge of the bakers but their operating hours are also his work hours so I had to communicate with them and they were nothing but delightful through the whole experience. They have 4 regular flavors (chocolate, almond, red velvet, and butternut-my personal favorite,) and a weekly special (for our wedding it was snickers). The cupcakes turned out wonderfully and the staff was really awesome about delivery and set up. Plus, we came in way under what we expected for the budget for a 6 inch cake and what turned out to be 200ish cupcakes (they gave us more than we ordered)- even though we only had a little over 100 people there were only a few left over. My fiancée was so happy that we went with them and, especially since they wouldnt accept a tip, wanted me to leave the best review possible. Thank you guys so much for being a part of our special day!! Side note- I loved the fact that they had so many live plants in the foyer of the store... then again we had a garden wedding with all live potted plants, so that isnt all that surprising, haha. I will be leaving this exact same review on multiple forums for maximum exposure :)

You can never get a cake at this place. Ive call two weeks in advance and they are always booked. I guess in a way that shows how tasty their cakes are, however if I were that popular then I would add on more staff. Turning customers away and giving them another bakers name just does not sit well with me. This is the last time that I will try to order anything from them. I wish them much success and hope that in the failing economy that they will continue to be able to turn people away! And I wanted to also clarify that this was not a unique cake request. No fondant or special design, just a plan ole cake with butter cream icing and maybe a flower or two NO gum paste flowers etc......1/4 of a sheet! Something that can be done by a professional cake decorator in about 30 minutes!

We purchased cupcakes and a top cake for our wedding and I cannot say enough good things about Unique Cakes. The cupcakes and cake were outstanding, delivery was on time, and their staff was friendly. I highly recommend Unique Cakes.

This is by far the prettiest and best tasting cakes around here. Due to it being a family owned and operated business Ive always had to order my cakes about a month in advance but its well worth it!
