We have eaten at this location several times and this time everything was horrible. The waitress was extremely loud and she took our order then served another customer a cup of coffee and the gentleman went outside to check on his dog in the back of the truck which he petted and played with before coming back inside. Then the waitress hands the customer some coffee filters to seperate for her, which he does with dirty hands (Gross) The food order was totally wrong and the cook and waitress argued (very loudly) about whose fault it was. Finally get half of the food and wait about 15 minutes more for the rest of the order. The food wasnt good at all. My father-in-law says hell never eat there again. Not sure this is a true statement because he loves eating at the waffle house lol. Had a really bad experience this time.

First, Ive eaten here numerous times. Ive had nothing but pleasant experiences here. Thing is, with highway dives like this, with a visible kitchen, and a bar/diner like atmosphere, you have to have reasonable expectations of such situations. Only a moron is going to expect Ruths Chris service at a Waffle House. So, you want cheap food($5 meal), relatively fast, from someone making $7-$10 an hour, and you want it to be gourmet? Get real people! Dont get on here bitching about status quo service. Know what to expect, and youll likely not be let down.

Absolutely nasty, dirty roach infested place. Needs to be demolished. Health department needs to shut this place down. Employees are fed up and have no problem complaining about their place of employment to customers. Cook is uncaring about his food presentation. Or how long a person waits for a damn BLT. I will never set foot in this place again. Doesnt even deserve one star. Deserves none at all. Lets say this. One of the employees walk out b/c the place was crawling with roaches. We were right behind her. Nasty!!

Home style country cooking. The food is good for what it is. Dont go in expecting a 5 star meal. I get the All-star special and it is really good. The sausage and country ham are always cooked well, the eggs are nearly always cooked to the way you order, and the waffle is really moist and crunchy on the edges. The best thing, though, is the hashbrowns. Seeing as how this place stays open 24 hours, it is a great stop for truckers or late night / early morning travelers. I suggest it, it really is pretty good.

The service here is awful, waitress and one cook are very inefficient, cook will take orders from customers and prepare order and leave the waitress standing with orders in hand to call to him. Totally unacceptable. I dont mind waiting on my food, but just cant tolerate rudeness. When a customer is waiting on their order and other customers walk in and sit at the bar and their order is filled first, this is not acceptable. Will have to think about this for a while before going back there.

Absolutely disgusting! Sat down looked around and the waffle makers were filthy with burnt batter crusted all over it, the coffee pot was filthy, so I stayed away from them! I ordered sweet tea which I couldnt drink because you could taste that it had been sitting for a while. I ordered a omelet and the eggs were watery, my toast was burnt. And the waitress was rude....I asked for more jelly and she tossed them on the table....never ever going back.

Food was not good, the bacon was burned when served literally black on the sides and end so hard in the middle it crumbled. We brought it to her attention after we finished eating when she gave us our check, the only time she came back and she offered to get us more but we had finished at this time. We always choose waffle house for brakfast but this stop was very disappointing.

Eggs were raw, waffles overcooked. Waitress was inattentive and rude when the issue with the food was brought up. Staff was too busy arguing over who got to go on their smoke break next. This isnt the first time we received poor service and poor food at this location. Dont think well be returning any time soon.

Varied menu with some salads, several breakfast combinations and burgers. The potatoes served are hashbrowns. This location has always had good food, but the service can be spotty. Today we didnt get a refIll without asking. Last time we didnt have to ask for anything.

I walked into the athens Tn waffle house at exit 47 and I 75 I was ignored and i left to calls of sir we will be right there. I ignored them, do not recommemd this store!!! Wont go back.
