Took my girlfriend here for Sunday brunch on 6-4-17. I had only been here one other time with my brother but we didnt have any complaints. Walked in, and the place is packed. Hostess asks us if we were comfortable sitting outside; it being 90 degrees, I politely declined and asked for an inside table. We were seated about 10-15 minutes later, which wasnt too bad. My girlfriend was curious about some of the different coffees on the menu and asked our server some basic questions. The server gave a simple recommendation about one of the drinks but made a strange comment about how, "oh this ones good but I wouldnt share that.." It just seemed out of place, like she was making some veiled reference to me. Anyway, I ignored it and we both ordered. About 15-20 minutes later our food arrives. My girlfriend ordered the Tex Med Omelette and I ordered the two-egg breakfast with hash browns, bacon, and toast. Had no complaints about the eggs or my girlfriends omelette, but my hash browns were not even cooked. There was literally a pile of lukewarm slimy shredded potatoes on my plate. The toast was also extremely dark; basically charred. I HATE sending food back at restaurants because its just an awkward experience regardless of where you are, but I really did want the hash browns to be fully cooked. I politely asked for them to be taken back and cooked more thoroughly. The server tried to backtalk me about how there wasnt enough "oil" in the pan and "thats just how they cook them sometimes." Needless to say this was very alarming... The server took my plate back and returned a few minutes later with, new hash browns? Im not completely sure if they were new but they had definitely been on the grill longer the second time around because they had now been overcooked. It was obvious the hash browns were being cooked at much too high of a temperature; with one side being burnt and the top/middle still raw. Another issue was that I was only given two pieces of bacon and the menu said the standard order was for three. I very politely explained to the server that I was not trying to be pedantic, and I "was not trying to be that person." The server responded with, "oh theres a good $10 word for you.." I also ignored this rather blatant comment and simply requested another piece of bacon so I would have the 3. A few minutes later they come back with some extra bacon. It was more than the one piece like I was expecting which was nice and all seemed well. My girlfriend and I finish eating about 20-30 minutes later. I also ended up eating the hash browns as I hoped they were cooked "enough." The server never came back to our table to check on us even one time. There was a period of about 15 minutes where they seemed to disappear from the dining room entirely. About 30 minutes after we had finished eating, I was finally able to get the check. $37.12 for brunch for only two people. Later that afternoon I was visiting my girlfriends house and started having some severe intestinal distress. I was in the bathroom for almost an hour with extreme diarrhea. I was very uncomfortable for the rest of the day and it has continued into Monday while Im at work. I am very displeased with my experience. The service being poor and the fact I got food poisoning from the suspect hash browns. We will not be returning.

Ok, I really really liked this place, I had actually spent all night the night before at a Christmas party talking it up. My girlfriend and I took two of our friends there the next day cause we liked it so much and we wanted them to try it too. We go there a little before 12:30 and couldnt get out until 2:45. Granted it was really crowded and it took us a while to get a seat but thats ok the main problem was our waitress Bekah. She took literally 20 minutes to get us our drinks (water) and then was never around after that, finally after about an hour of waiting for our food we noticed everyone was already finishing and leaving, including another group of my friends who got there about 20 minutes after us. We asked Bekah what was wrong, after we could finally catch her and she said, "It will be right out just a few minutes I went and checked" we waited and waited no food. Finally we were able to flag Bekah down again and this time she said "oh Im sorry I forgot to put your order in itll be right out" understandable, mistakes happen, however, the problem was she lied to us the first time when she said shed checked on it and we would be ready shortly. She could tell we were getting a little steamed and said "well what do you want me to do" seriously? What do you want me to do? She was not apologetic and did nothing for us. Finally after going through her and the hostess we eventually got to the manager while we were waiting on him to come out Bekah came and tried to bribe us with a piece of chocolate cake. The manager was really nice and gave us 20% off our bill. THEN we literally could not get the bill, Bekah continued to ignore us, I guess she felt a little awkward around us cause it was but we seriously had to wait about another 20 minutes to get our bills and three boxes. I mean this was no joke the worst service Ive ever had in my life. We got there at noon to a crowded restaurant and left at 2:30 with it being almost completely empty. The food is pretty good and its a cool place and if you can go and not get Bekah youll be good but jeez louise avoid that one.

We went there this afternoon and the place was jammed packed! So we decided to have some drinks at the bar while we waited; we even asked the hostess if it was ok. My husband had a bloody mary and I had a delicious mimosa with fresh orange juice! As we sat there, we were asked a couple times if we wanted anything to eat but there was only one seat for me while my husband had to stand so we declined. When we had a seat come available, my husband was gonna sit down but saw an elderly couple waiting as well so he decided to keep standing and let the elderly lady sit down. They ordered some drinks as well as some food. I was then asked to get up by the bar tender to give up my seat to the man because he was eating. I was taken aback by this. Here my husband and I were gonna sit and eat at the bar but because he wanted to give the elderly lady a place to sit, we were being completely booted! When here we were, just me sitting, while he stood behind me, drinking and wouldve had another round if they werent so busy and asked us. We complained to the owner who happend to be there who really wasnt all that apologetic.. just offered up excuses. The menu was small as well as the 3 egg olmet my husband got. He makes them at home so he knows about how big they should be. The toast was not at all toasted and the coffee was weak. Service was so so and even had to ask for napkins! Like who doesnt use a napkin while eating! First and last time ever going. As we both work in the service industry, we now how valuable our guest are to the company we work for. The only thing I liked was the eclectic artwork that was for sale on their walls.
