My cousin had received a $20 gift certificate for this restaurant. In the past we had eaten here several times with no complaints. However, this past week we went in, made our choices and went back to our table. First problem - the tea was hot and it took us halfway through the meal to get the servers attention to get any ice. Second problem, the broccoli and cheese was cold. Third problem, the cabbage was cold. When several items on a buffet are cold, something is definitely wrong. That being said, my cousin started to check out and was telling the cashier what we had encountered. She took the drinks off which made the tab less than $20, however, she refused to give a less than $2 cash refund even though she was asked to do so, opting instead to write the difference on the envelope. Most restaurants would have offered to call the manager since there was a problem with both the service and the food, but she did not. Needless to say, in the future we will go anywhere else but here.

This has been the most horrible experience Ive had with Sun King. It used to be good back some years ago. Me and my family stopped in for dinner on our way home. We were eating, well we thought we were and the food was down right disgusting. The chicken on the stick amongst other meats were under cooked and the only thing my kids ate were jello and orange slices. They clearly didnt care and expressed that noone else had complained when there was another family that said the same things we said. But they still wanted us to pay full price for a meal we didnt eat. Will not be going there anymore and will be going up their chain to the top.

Great place. Good food. Classic Chinese buffet. Have eaten here many times. I know what to expect. Great service. The staff is very friendly. Anyone who complains about this place has a beer budget with a taste for crown royal. Seriously, for the price you pay its excellent. Stop complaining. If your unhappy with it. I suggest you open your own Chinese buffet with the same prices, lets see if you can beat the quality. Doubt it. I would say with confidence its the best Chinese Buffet Spartanburg area has to offer.

I used to eat there a lot ...at least once or twice a week... sometimes the food is good , but sometimes not so good... its always cheap ..less than 10 bucks... . .BUT Ill Never Eat There Again.!! I came in one day and asked to sit where I could see the TV.. But They did not want me to sit there... and got upset about it .. Started Yelling in Chinese ... and said "NO, YOU SIT HERE"!!.. I said No ... I Am Leaving.. Yall Are Crazy.!!

Man who got runs was right. Fairly priced. Some food good, some taste like an elephants ass. We were hungry so Im sure the good food may have been crap because of hunger. Roll the dice with this place. The best thing about this place is that you never have to worry about slipping because your shoes will stick to the floor. Its like walking on 3M adhesive tape. Sometimes your shoe stays on sometimes it doesnt.

9/10 times its a perfect american Chinese reaturaunt. The only 1/10 time I could complain was late and right before they closed on a slow night which is not good for buffet food. Cheese wontons, sesame chicken and mai fun are just some of the awesome food but the egg rolls are usually less than stellar. Might be just because I have a high standard for egg rolls.

This is the most cleanest place I have ever eaten at. The food is fantastic, fresh, and seasoned to perfection! I would recommend this place to everyone e..Im definitely coming back!! The staff is friendly and so polite. And the counter man is such a gentleman and made sure we were taken care of. I wish their was a bigger choice of sushi, but overall A+++++

Man for the Price you cant beat it!!The best Chinese buffet in spartanburg, And the best stuffed mushrooms I ever had, And remember Confucius Say: Man who eat many prunes get good run for money. I wanted to take my grandmothers best friend out to a nice chinese restaurant. I had heard good things about this place, but when we arrived and tasted the food, it was horrid! The wontons are especially dissapointing. I will never return here. And her friend never wants chinese again!

The people were very sweet, but the food, especially seafood and fish were very spoiled tasting. There were flies in the trays, and many things have obviously not been cooked today or even yesterday. The deserts were good though, but the flies and "off" smell were disturbing.

Looking at the menu every thing looking good but when I got there and sat down the waiter didnt understand English didnt understand nothing I was asking bout the food and last but not least the food was nasty I will never visit again

Every time I come here (3 times in a month that Ive lived in Spartanburg), the food is always delicious and fresh. Sushi isnt the best but I could always do without that. Love it as well as super friendly staff!

They closed the side of the bar early, that does the steak and shrimp, etc. That left us with absolutely nothing good to eat! Worse place Ive been in spartanburg :(. I know its only 5.99 but expected better!!

The food is awesome, everytime. The staff are friendly and fast. And the bathroom are the cleanest I have ever seen in a restaurant. This is the place to eat if you love and want great tasting Chinese food!

My favorite Chinese food restaurant. They have a huge buffet with a great selection. The bourbon chicken is cooked well. The pepper chicken has amazing flavor. The service is prompt. Highly recommended.

Their food is very good, and the sweet tea at lunch is only 50 cents! If you go when theyre not too busy, you can request the sesame balls which are very tasty.
